Chapter 7: Quality Time With Friends

After the end of the mock battle, we all went back to our class after changing into our uniform. Saying goodbye to all my classmates, I left the class to go home. Some of them like Kirishima, Denki, Kyoka, Mina had planned to go home together, the rest of them were also going as a group.

As I reached the gate, I saw Shota walking in front of me. 'I thought that I was the first one to leave class.' Well not like I have to be the first.

I was walking ten paces behind him as I know that he's a bit anti-social because of his family problems. Thinking about my family, I thought about how the face of Yuki will be after seeing the photo of me in my hero costume.

My musings were cut short thanks to me feeling someone tapping on my shoulder. Turning around I locked my eyes with Toru, who had tapped me on the shoulder, I also saw Momo next to Toru.

Looking at me Toru asked "Can you really see me?"

I nodded at her.

"Prove it." She said,

I raised an eyebrow at that and asked "Can you see yourself?"

She had a stunned look on her face, but that went away as soon as it came and she said "I can't, but I know my hair and eye color before I get my quirk. I'm sure that it hasn't changed."

Nodding my head I said "Your hair color is chartreuse and your eye color is teal and yellow and you have light yellow bushy eyelashes."

Hearing what I said here eyes went wide and she started to tear up. I was dumbfounded at that as she started to shed tears. So I looked towards Momo for help, and seeing my desperate look she took action by consoling Toru.

After she calmed down, she said to me "Thank you... "

I didn't know what to say, I don't know why she is thanking me, when I'm the one who saw her naked. So I suggested "Hey, let me make it up for you. So come with me now, you too Momo."

Saying that I started to walk, both of them followed me but Momo asked "Where are we going?"

"To my home."

Both of their eyes went wide hearing that, as they didn't expect me to bring them to my home.

Our walk was pretty much silent until we reached the crossroad, as a limo was there. Seeing the limo Momo said "That's my car, let's go in that. You can give directions to the driver."

"Alright." Saying that I went to the driver and gave him the destination and got into the car.

As soon as I got in, Momo asked me "If you don't mind, how can you see Toru?"

"Well, I believe that you know how my quirk works right?"

They both nodded, so I continued "When Toru is inside the radius of my absorption range, I can see her as the light energy from her is absorbed by me."

"Oh!" Toru exclaimed and asked "So you can't make me visible to others?"

"Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. I can only use the energy on me, for now at least."

Then silence fell upon us as we didn't have much to talk about, and both of them being girls didn't want to talk among themselves when a boy was present and I understood it perfectly.

Quarter hour ride in the limo, we reached my home. Seeing the restaurant Momo and Toru was surprised at first, but after hearing what I said they understood "This is my family restaurant and above it is my house, so let's go."

I went to the side where the staircase is located to access our house, and climbed the stairs, both girls followed me closely.

Opening the door I said "I'm home."

"Welcome home." Was the reply I got, which was given by my sister who stopped a couple of feels away from us as she saw both of them.

Gesturing at Yuki, I said "She's my sister, Yuki. Yuki, these two are my friends from class. Keep them company."

Then, I went towards the kitchen of the restaurant and got a portion of fried rice and dragon chicken for four. As I got back I heard Yuki saying something intimate about me to them "ni-chan already have nee-san."

She said that right when I entered the dining room, I could see a curious look cast towards me by Momo and Toru, smiling at them, I said, "Come now, let's eat."

Setting the table I sat down and they also came and sat down.

As we were eating, Toru asked "So, who's this nee-san, Yuki talked about?"

Chuckling at her question I said "A very close friend of mine."

"What's her name?" Momo asked.

"Mmmm, well, I like to keep it to myself." I answered her with a smile.

Understanding that I won't budge, they changed the subject into today's mock battle. And before we knew it, the food was finished.

Thanking for a nice meal Toru went with Momo, as Momo offered to drop Toru at her home. As they went on their way, I looked at my sister and asked "Now why did you tell them that?"

Hearing what I asked, she replied with a sweet smile "Nee-san asked me to look after ni-chan."

I chuckled at that and said out loud "Well, she would say that to you, I can imagine. Anyway, let's help mom and dad."

"Okay." She agreed with a cheerful smile.
