Chapter 38: In The Shadows

{3rd Person POV}

As the weekend came, the people were in a joyful mood and their warm feelings were radiating all around the city.

But, this didn't reach the shadows, not at all. In the shadows, its deary and cold atmosphere, and in the shadows, some were planning nefarious things that they would do in the coming days.

There were also sympathizers of Stain who had been grouping up so that they could uphold the belief of Stain.

Those who want to change the status quo of the world, those who want to come out in the open and be free from discrimination, those who simply want some destruction and carnage, and those who just want someone to accept them for who they are.

In the midst of these, there is one man who just hates everything that is present in this world, and just wants everything to disappear, specifically, he wants to make everything disappear by his hands.

"Shigaraki." Kurogiri said.

"What?" Hearing someone calling his name, Shigaraki looked around and saw that it was only him and Kurogiri present.

"It's time for you to sleep." Kurogiri said.

"What are you? My mom?" Shigaraki asked with a little bit of pain present on his face.

Shaking his head, Shigaraki said "I'm going out."

And before Kurogiri could stop him, Shigaraki left the bar and blended into the crowd.

Looking around, all he saw was people who were going on with their merry life, with happiness radiating from them that made him uncomfortable.

Shigaraki just walked in one direction thinking 'All the effort I made to get those six Nomu's are under wraps thanks to Hero Killer Stain. What's the difference between me and him? I destroyed more property and injured the people at Hosu more than him. So why am I getting pushed back?'

He kept on asking questions to himself, not knowing the answers to those questions.

After walking for a long time, he found an empty bench near an arcade. So he sat down there and he kept observing the people who were going in every direction.

He saw families that were happy, couples who were in love, children who were playing at the arcade etc.. 'This is all just fragile. If I go in there and kill someone then that's all needed to cause a commotion that would disrupt their so-called peace.'

As Shigaraki decided that he needed to kill someone right now, he saw four people. To be precise, two little girls and a man with black hair holding hands with a woman with white hair that has some red patches.

They were just walking out of the arcade, and only one thought passed through Shigaraki's mind. "I have to kill them.'

Getting up from his seat, Shigaraki walked towards the four of them, and the one closest to him was one of the little girls who had a horn on her head.

With a creepy smile that came to his face out of nowhere, Shigaraki extended his hand towards the little girl to kill her and to rid the warm energy that is present in the atmosphere.

Just as his hand reached her, another hand took hold of Shigaraki's hand. When he looked towards the one who held his hand, he saw that the man was concentrating on something else and not him.

That snapped something inside Shigaraki, that was what he thought. But what really happened was his wrist was broken into two, Shigaraki wanted to scream but no voice came out of his mouth.

Then the man hurled Shigaraki towards the wall in a way that made Shigaraki lose his consciousness.

"So Jojo, where should we go now?" Fuyumi asked Jōichirō while turning towards him, not knowing that something terrible was about to happen right in front of her.

But when she looked at Jōichirō, she saw a man with blue hair laying on the floor.

"Jojo, we want fish!" Yuki said, while Eri bobbed her head up and down.

That brought Fuyumi out of her curiosity and went back to what she was doing before. Nothing much really, just shopping.

Before moving from their spot, Jōichirō turned back to look at the man he had thrown. But there was no one there when Jōichirō looked.

Jōichirō just shrugged at it and went on his way with three ladies who like to shop that is fancy for each other.

Back in the bar, the purple mist formed a purple gate and Shigaraki was placed on a couch inside the bar.

After that, Kurogiri looked at the screen and said "Shigaraki almost killed himself today, and his wrist is broken now."

[Well, it will serve as an important life lesson for Shigaraki.Now, send him here, the doctor will heal him.]

"As per your wish master."

After the signal got disconnected, Kurogiri went towards Shigaraki and teleported to where the Doctor was and went back to his position. which is right behind the counter and started to heal Shigaraki.
