Chapter 33: Feast And Dinner

(Jōichirō POV)

Morning came, and the first thing I did was finish my morning routine. After that was done I went to wake up Yuki.

She was fast asleep due to staying up late yesterday, as she kept on describing the sport's festival in her perspective.

Rocking her from side to side I said "Wake up Yuki, it's time."

"Five more minutes." Yuki replied and snuggled into her blanket.

But I didn't give up and rocked her one more time and said "Didn't I tell you that you will meet someone today? They will be here early, and if they saw you in this condition would they want to be your friend?"

She silently woke up and gave me a stink eye, in return I just smiled at her and continued "Go and freshen up. I'll be in the kitchen."

Nodding her small head, she left the bed to the bathroom to wash up. I cleaned up her bed and went to the kitchen for preparation.

When I reached there I saw the kitchen staff there finishing up the preparation. I was confused because mom and dad told me that they will close the restaurant today.

"They insisted on doing this. In return, all they want is a portion of the dishes you're going to make." I heard my mom saying as she was standing beside me.

"Sure why not." I replied and went to prepare breakfast.

After a hearty breakfast with my family, I went to the kitchen to start cooking.

I decided to make a grand feast for my classmates, and I had given the recipe for what I was going to make to mom, so I'm sure that she had given them the list of ingredients that needed to be prepared.

Fried chicken, tempura, omurice, miso soup, plain rice, sushi, ramen, fried rice etc... I didn't know what they liked so I made enough portions for everyone, sure there will be excess and all I have to do is make sure that the untouched food will be given to the orphanage near here today.

"Alright, I see that everyone is here." I said to my classmates.

"Yeah, even Bakugo is here." Jiro said with a snicker. The rest also giggled at it, but oddly, Bakugo was silent, too silent for his personality. 'Did someone possess him? Should I test him? Mmm what should I use?.... Mmm yeah this will do.'

♪ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" I sang out loud to get any kind of reaction from Bakugo if he was possessed, but the only reaction I got from him was raising an eyebrow at me. 'Well, if he was possessed, then he would have recognised that song.'

But from other's I got some hilarious reactions thanks to the lyrics. Shrugging at them I said "Come in."

As everyone entered the restaurant, they were about to ask me about the song, but stopped as they noticed Aizawa sitting at a table with Eri who is playing with Yuki.

"I also invited Aizawa sensei." I told them.

Then looking around they noticed another thing, and that is there wasn't anyone else present in the restaurant. Seeing this Denki's eyes teared up, slowly wiping it he said "I didn't know that you would book the whole restaurant for us, Jōichirō."

"What are you talking about? This is mine, and today the restaurant is closed." I told him.

Hearing that, most of them had dumbfounded looks and some had understanding looks. Momo and Toru, who had been here before, just observed the restaurant as they hadn't seen it last time.

Looking at them I said "Sit down, the food will be ready in a minute."

The girls went to Yuki and Eri to get to know them, Denki looking at me asked "Hey, Jōichirō. Does this place take part timers?"

"We do. I'm also a part timer here." I replied.

"How much is the salary?" Hanta asked me.

As far as I know there wasn't any information on how much their parents make, except for Shoto, Momo, Katsuki, Izuku, and Jiro thanks to seeing the situation at their home. The rest? I have no idea.

Shrugging I said "3000 Yen per hour. If you want to join, I'll tell my dad. There will be an interview, only after that will you get the job."

"Thanks man, we appreciate that." Denki and Hanta said.

Smiling at the boys, I said while pointing at the girls who were all over Eri and Yuki. "They will take some time, so let's play some games in the meantime."

"Yes!" They were excited, that's for sure.

Even though games in this world are not as awesome as on Earth, it's bearable, as it does its job. Giving young boys entertainment, but the problem is every game has the same theme. Heroes and Villains, same with other entertainment routes. It's like, no one wants the young generation to think of anything else other than heroes and villains. 'Do I smell a conspiracy? Meh, whatever.'

We played the game for almost an hour, by rotating between ourselves to play as there were only four controllers. Denki and Kirishima were good at gaming and surprisingly, Katsuki won most of the games we played. When he sensed that everyone was looking at him, he said "What? I have hobbies too."

'No explosion or screaming murder. Something is definitely going on with him.' I thought to myself.

"Lunch is ready!"

Hearing what my mom shouted, I said "Let's go and eat."

Then I led them to a long table that could accommodate everyone in our class plus an extra four seats for my parents, Aizawa, Eri and Yuki. Iida was not present because of his brother being hospitalized, we all know about that but we kept it to ourselves as speaking about a person who is hospitalized due to villain attack is a bit too much for a celebration time.

As we were done with eating, we went back to our gaming section and the girls also joined us as they didn't want to interfere in the bonding time of Eri and Yuki.

When it all came to an end, my classmates left one by one thanking me for the delicious food and hospitality shown by my parents. Yuki and Eri became friends, well kids are like that so there's no problem with that.

Before leaving, Eri came near me with Yuki and said "Thank you."

Smiling at her, I took out a chocolate bar and gave it to her saying "You're welcome to come here whenever you want too, okay? Just tell Aizawa sensei, he'll bring you around."

With a smile she accepted the chocolate and nodded at me. Then ruffling her hair I said "Now go on, sensei is waiting for you."

"En." Then she suddenly hugged my legs and thanked me again, and turning around she gave a hug to Yuki too, which my sister happily reciprocated.

She left our home with Aizawa sensei with a little hop in her steps and a small smile on her face.

Looking at Yuki, who was hugging my leg now, I asked her "Does Yuki like Eri?"

"Yeah! We're best friends!" Yuki replied.

"Really?" I asked for confirmation.

"Mmhmm really. We're best friends now." Yuki stressed on that, so with a smile I ruffled her hair and said "Good for you."

Right now, we're on our way to the Todoroki household. I'm pretty sure that thanking me for saving Touya is only one of the reasons for Rei to invite me, the other one is obviously my relationship with Fuyumi.

Do I feel tense? Yes! I actually do. I know that her mother approves of me, but I'm not sure about the men in the house. They may have varying kinds of reactions, that's for sure.

I was brought out of my musings by dad who said "We're here."

Getting out of the car, we went towards the old traditional house, right outside of the entrance stood Touya with a smile on his face. As soon as we neared him he greeted my parents first then me.

"Hey Jōichirō." He gave me a hug, and I returned the hug while greeting him "Hey Touya." Then, I introduced him to Yuki.

"Touya, this is my sister, Yuki Saiba. And Yuki, this my friend Touya Todoroki."

"Hi!" The ever energetic girl greeted him.

Touya gave her a warm smile and said "Hi Yuki. Let's get along well, okay."

"Okay!"

Then looking at us he said "Come on, let's go inside, they are waiting for you."

Nodding at him we followed him inside, with Yuki holding my hand.

In the room that Touya brought us, the Todoroki family was sitting on one side of a chabudai with Enji, or commonly known No. 2 Hero Endeavor sitting at the head of the table.

After a small greeting between each other we sat down, 'He's a man of small words, noted. Might be because of his change of heart after Rei snapped, I don't know.'

I was sitting opposite Fuyumi, as we are seated in the order of seniority. Luckily for me, Yuki hasn't said anything even after seeing Fuyumi, which must be thanks to the talk mom had with her. But she's a child, I didn't know that they could stay composed like this.

Fuyumi was also eyeing Yuki, not knowing what happened to her, and she would look at me for some answers.

"Now that everyone is here, let's start." Rei said.

Nodding at what she said we all said in unison ""Itadakimasu.""

As we were eating, we made small talk too, nothing major, just things about U.A, the sport's festival, the attack on the U.S.J things that happened in recent times.

Then Touya said "Ah... speaking about that, is Iida alright?"

That question was directed at me and Shoto, as we are classmates with him. Shaking my head I said "We couldn't get a hold of him."

"Yeah, and I'm sure that he will come through it." Shoto said.

As he had put that topic on the table, I asked him "Hey, do they have any clue where that guy might be?"

"The Hero Killer?" Touta asked me for confirmation, I nodded at him, so he continued "Not at all. All we know is that he's still in Hosu and hasn't appeared anywhere else for the time being."

"Mmmm.... " I just wanted to know, but it's the same.

Then Rei looked at Fuyumi and I could see that Rei was urging Fuyumi to do something.

After half a minute of urging by Rei, Fuyumi cleared her throat, attracting the attention of everyone at the table.

When all eyes were on her, she said "I would like to say something."

"Go ahead." Touya said. 'Mmm, is his word the last in the Todoroki family now?' So I looked at Enji and saw he was also looking at his daughter.

Taking a deep breath, Fuyumi said "Jōichirō and I are in a relationship." And closed her eyes shut, for what? I don't know.

Hearing her sudden confession, Shoto, who was drinking water, sprayed it on Natsuo as he was in the way. NNatsuo just looked at me and Fuyumi alternatively not minding the wetness in his body due to Shoto spraying out the water he drank. Touya's eyes went wide at first then it returned back to normal, Enji was also the same. And there was a small tension in the room.

That tension was shattered by the question of Natsuo "So you're shota-con, Fuyumi?"

"What's a shota-con?" Yuki asked him as this was the first time she's heard that word.

Natsuo, who was in some kind of trance, was going to answer her.

*Slap*

"Ow! What was that for?" Natsuo asked Fuyumi, as she is the one who slapped her. But seeing her face made him realize what he was going to tell Yuki and quickly apologize to my parents and me "I'm sorry!"

Then, instead of the tension it was filled with awkwardness.

"Umm.... When did this happen?" Touya asked the most important thing.

"Remember the day I almost got kidnapped?" Fuyumi asked him, and he nodded at her.

"He's the one who saved me, and after some time we fell in love." Fuyumi said that with a straight face. 'I appreciate that.'

Then, the sound of someone putting down the chopsticks was heard. At the source of the sound was the No. 2 Hero, Endeavor, who was looking at me right in the eye, and I kept eye contact with him as much as he wanted.

After what felt like hours, Enji spoke "You have saved both my children out of harm's way, for that I thank you." Then looking at Fuyumi he said "You're a grown woman, you can decide for yourself. But be mindful about your age difference, and you know the rest." And his focus was back in me "That's for you too, got it?"

I nodded at him, as what he essentially said is that there should be no sexual activities between us until I'm of age. And I'm all in for that, cause even though I call her shota-con from time to time only to tease her I don't want others to call her that too, her family is an exception.

Nothing big happened after that revelation, other than Yuki sitting with Fuyumi now.

After the dinner was finished, Enji said to me "Again, I thank you for saving my children. And I wish you all the best for your future."

I nodded at him, 'Should I sing the song and make sure that he's not possessed either? Nah, no need for that now.'

After an hour or so we gave our goodbye to them. We left the Todoroki household with a tired Yuki who had been running around the house with Fuyumi and Natsuo.

'I thought that there would be at least a test, like a spar with Touya or Enji to make sure that I'm worthy of Fuyumi. But thank god that didn't happen.'
