[Jōichirō POV]
After the end of the long sport's festival we got a fifteen minute lecture from Aizawa on our performance and how he will collect the internship nominations. After saying his piece he left the class.
Katsuki has been really silent after the tournament, don't know what happened to him, but if this tournament knocked some sense into him then that's good. He is a good kid, just that arrogance got to his head and he's been like that ever since he got his quirk, no one was there to humble him.
On the other hand, Izuku looked like he would pass out any moment thanks to Ochaco being in his close proximity, 'He still hasn't gotten over it?'
Iida had left and he didn't even wait for the medal for the third place, it looks like Stain had struck Ingenium. 'Hope he gets well soon.'
Toru and the girls had been congratulating Momo for getting into the top eight, and also for her composed actions against Katsuki. Denki and Hanta looked excited for some reason, Mezō was talking with Kirishima about something, Koda, Sato and Ojiro kept to themselves.
Packing my gym uniform that I used for the sports festival I was ready to leave the U.A. Looking at my classmates I said "Guy's! I'm going."
Denki and Hanta looked at me like I had killed their dogs, and Denki shouted at me "Don't! Don't leave yet!"
I looked at him in confusion "Why not?"
"Come on man, you're the winner of the sport's festival! We need treats!" Denki said as it was the unspoken rule.
Looking at him I asked "Isn't it you guys who are supposed to give me treats for getting 1st place?"
Denki looked stumped, so I just smiled at him and said "We don't have classes tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow. So come to this address, I'll give you the treat."
I took out the business card of our family restaurant and gave it to Denki.
"Thanks man! We will be there." Denki and Hanta said in unison, and Denki instantly shared the business card in the class group chat.
Bidding them goodbye, I left the classroom and went to the parking lot to find my parents.
As I was walking down the corridor, I heard footsteps coming from behind me, so I looked back, and saw Eri walking in the corridor with Aizawa. Seeing Eri, who might be the same age as my sister, I softly smiled. Seeing my smile she hid behind the legs of Aizawa and only peeked at me.
Patting on her head, Aizawa spoke to me "Don't get winning the sport's festival to your head, there are bigger fish out there like the ones who attacked the USJ."
"Yes sensei."
"Good." Then looking at Eri he said "This is Eri, she's under my care now. So I have a favor to ask from you."
I nodded at him to continue, so he did.
"I know you're treating your friends for winning the tournament. If you could bring Eri along with you, I would appreciate it. I will also be present, I know that you have a sister of the same age as Eri, that's why I'm asking."
"Sure, that's not a problem with me." Then squatting down to get to the eye level of Eri, I introduced myself "Hi Eri, I'm Jōichirō Saiba. Nice to meet you."
She didn't speak but nodded her small head in acknowledgement.
Smiling, I continued "Come with sensei tomorrow, I'll introduce you to Yuki, my sister. She's the same age as you, so you guys will get along well."
Standing up, I looked at Aizawa and asked "Is she the one...?"
"The one from the news?" Aizawa asked me.
I nodded at him, 'Even though I know it, I can't show that I know it.'
"Yeah, she's the one. So we'll see you tomorrow then." Bidding goodbye, Aizawa left with Eri.
'Well... Yuki will get a new friend now.'
With a smile still on my face, I continued my walk.
As soon as I reached where our car was parked, I saw Touya waiting with my parents, his mother and Fuyumi. Yuki, who saw me, ran straight at me while shouting "Big brother!"
Picking her up, I spinned around a couple of times and her laughter echoed in that area.
When I neared where my parents were l, Rei said "Saiba-kun, I would like to invite you to our home to have dinner with us, as a token of thanks for saving my son when you were young. Your parents and sister are also invited."
Smiling at her I asked "Sure, when is it?"
"Day after tomorrow, Shoto just texted me that you're having a party somewhere for winning the sport's festival." Touya said, while looking at his phone.
"Yeah, they wanted me to treat them, so I agreed." I said.
"Alright, then the day after tomorrow it is. I look forward to it." Saying that, Rei along with Fuyumi and Touya bid us goodbye and left.
Going back home, the first thing I did was to take a bath as I was sweaty. Then I went to the kitchen and whipped up chicken fried rice for four and merely ate dinner with my family.
After dinner, Yuki kept on narrating the whole sport's festival over and over until she fell asleep. We didn't mind that, as she is our little sunshine after all.
