Isuma's Purpose

Isuma put away the phone, and Yoichi asked:

—What happened, brother?

—Nothing, brother, why?

—You look worried.

Isuma smiled at him and went to his room while Yoichi continued watching television. Once in his room, Isuma sat at his desk and murmured:

—This complicates things... But if I follow my plan, I can...

Analyzing his words, he leaned back in his chair and reflected:

—What can I do? What is my purpose? To be the most powerful being, or what?

Isuma got up from his chair, sighed, and murmured again:

—There must be a reason, but what? The original All for One had a purpose, a main motivation: to shape the world in his image and create an environment where he was the supreme ruler.

He straightened his posture, looked forward, and murmured again:

—But me? What is my purpose? I know I want power, and I know every being desires power...

—The only answer I have now is personal satisfaction. I know I have power, but to obtain more power...

His murmur was interrupted by Yoichi, who entered the room with his usual smile.

—I finished watching the superhero movie.

Isuma got up from the chair and said:

—Okay, then turn off the light, and let's go to sleep.

Yoichi turned off the light in the room, and both went to bed.

Early in the morning, as usual, Isuma got up and approached his brother, who was still sleeping peacefully. He went to the sofa to wait for his mother. He turned on the TV and switched to the news channel, where the presenter announced:

Isuma changed the channel to a cartoon show, and while doing so, he looked at the clock on the wall above the TV, which read 6 in the morning. As usual, his mother arrived at this time.

That was exactly what happened. She opened the door and leaned on the sofa; as always, she smelled of alcohol and other substances. Being Isuma, an adult in a child's body, he knew perfectly well what his mother did for a living: she was a "companion." However, he didn't see it as bad, as with that job, she brought food to the table.

Isuma got up from the sofa and said to his mother:

—Are you still awake, mother?

She turned her head towards Isuma's voice and replied:

—Yes! Well... this... how much... aaa...

She stopped talking again, and Isuma put his mother's arm around his neck, and his arm around her waist, guiding her to her room. It didn't take long, as it was usual for him to help her get to her room. After doing so, he returned to the sofa and waited for Yoichi to wake up.

Five hours passed, during which Isuma watched TV and wrote in a small notebook about his purpose in this life. Now, at 11:40 A.M., Yoichi came out of the room and approached the sofa to say to Isuma:

—Brother.

Isuma looked at him and replied:

—Hello, Yoichi. How did you sleep?

—Good.

Yoichi sat next to Isuma and asked:

—What do you plan to do today?

—Being 11:41 A.M., I have to leave the house later. Why do you ask?

—Because I thought we could go see the new 'Captain Hero' movie.

—Sure, if I don't take too long, we can go.

A smile formed on Yoichi's face, and without saying anything, he gave a thumbs up, clearly showing the happiness on his face.

At 12:00 P.M., Isuma got up from the sofa to go take a shower. After doing so, he went to his room to put on some clothes, consisting of black shorts, a white T-shirt, and sneakers similar to Converse. He left and headed to the sofa where Yoichi was still watching TV and said:

—I'll be back later, see you later to go to the cinema. If mom asks, tell her I'm going to do something and I'll be back later.

Yoichi nodded without taking his eyes off the TV, and Isuma left the house.
