All five of them turned their attention to the small cat. The deep growl that left its mouth somehow nerved them, but looking at its size, they shook that feeling off.
"Is this your pet?" The man with many piercings snickered, causing the others to laugh, their mocking laughter like that of a pack of hyenas.
Daniel's sapphire eyes flashed, and a dangerous glow began brewing within those eyes. Derek ignored this foolish group and turned to Daniel.
The kid was becoming more problematic recently. Derek couldn't get why he was so eager to fight because of a few words that could be ignored. True, Daniel didn't like being called a pet, but he can't expect everyone to know that.
