Marvel: The Silent Mad Dog

English is not my first language, so expect some bad grammar. I own nothing. But let me warn you, there will only be one chapter ahead. ________________________________________________________________ Rain can cause floods which can wash away the entire village. A single bolt of lightning can cause a large forest fire. A slight tremor of the earth can cause a tsunami that can reshape the whole coastline. Cruelty is just another aspect of human beings; using it to cause harm will lead to further cruelty. Human understands what cruelty means, but they also don't. They don't understand it. If they don't understand it, then they will act on it. Born in a world as a mutant, the mad dog will show its teeth and bite down at the cruel world.

Ryu stayed silent, not knowing how to respond to Mary, because weirdly, what Mary did, kind of made sense, but then Ryu finally broke the silence with a question.

"Ok, doc, that sound cool and all, but what is the point of all of this? I see no reason why you want to do this."

"What? What's wrong with me doing all of this, huh? Is it wrong for me to pursue and gain more knowledge? No one had tried this before, and this territory seemed impossible before, but now, I will create a new life using magic and science combined.

After all, nobody had done this before. Everyone thinks that this is nothing more than fiction, creating life, but I will prove them wrong, I will prove them all wrong, I will show all of them that there is nothing impossible in this world!!" Mary said loudly, and her tone seemed to become more insane the more she talked about all of this.

As for Ryu, he seems to be more curious than anything, not caring about Mary's tone in her voice.

"You are creating life? For me, that seems like something only God can do." Ryu said

"Only God can do, you said? There is no rule on what to do when you create life. Don't be stupid, who decide what to do not to do?

Why would the only person that can create life, is God? Why can't we, humans, also create life? Is there something wrong for us, humans, wanting to create life, wanting to achieve the impossible, wanting to play God?" Mary said confidently.

Ryu seems even more curious, considering how one of his eyes brown raised after hearing Mary's proclamation.

"Victor Frankenstein creates the monster in hopes of achieving glory and remembrance through his contributions to scientific advancement. He takes on the role of God, a being that is said to be responsible for creating life.

But in the end, he was unable to maintain a responsibility to the monster, and as a result, causing the monster to be hated by the creator. He fails as a creator of life in being accountable and managing his creations.

Don't you think you might be causing the same mistake as him?" Ryu ask

Mary chuckled as a response before answering back to Ryu.

"You're right about that, but you seem to forget one thing.

The monster turns and feels hated toward Victor because once Victor realizes the wretchedness of his creation, instead of deciding to take action, he allows the creature to escape and wreak havoc on the world around him without the guidance of his creator.

He doesn't understand the fact that the monster might look hideous, but it still has feelings and emotions similar to regular people. So when Victor Frankenstein showed his loved ones great compassion but did not show any love towards his creation, causing the monster to feel jealous.

A mistake that even God make, you know? An error that God did many, many times, and seem not to learn from it, you know?"

"A mistake that even God make? That quite an assumption, don't you think?" Ryu ask.

"I'm not making an assumption here. Think about it, when God created humans when he created Adam and Eve, he showered them with endless affection, while he seemed to neglect his other creation, especially Satan.

Thus, because of their feelings of inferiority towards humans, both Satan and the monster

decided to rebel against their creators. Satan took 1/3 of God's angels and caused a war in

heaven, while the monster killed Frankenstein's brother William in his revenge.

Some would argue that it's Satan fault for being jealous toward humans. Still, I would also argue back that Satan felt jealous in the first place because of God neglecting him and only caring about humans, which caused Satan jealousy in the first place.

Yet, when the snake tricked Eve into eating the fruit, which caused Adam to eat the fruit, God did not forgive; he punished the snake and exiled Adam and Eve from the garden. After that moment, he seems to not care about us humans anymore.

This proves that God is not perfect, God is not all-powerful, God is not all-knowing, and God does have flaws like us humans because he was responsible for creating the tree of knowledge in the first place, a knowledge that only God knows about.

Now, God doesn't answer our prayers, and God doesn't give us blessings because of the mistake that our ancestors made, now he also treats us like the monster that Victor created because now he also views us as a mistake that he made." Mary explains while she can be tinkering with the machine on the table.

"How are you so sure that God had not forgiven us? How are you so sure that God is not with us anymore? How are you so sure that this is not simply part of God plan?" Ryu asks, as curious as ever.

He understands what Mary is saying; she essentially is saying that God is not perfect, and God made mistakes, a mistake that he seems not to learn.

But if God is flawed, then doesn't that mean that he is no God?

"Of course, I'm sure. Vlad is an excellent example of this; before he becomes The Impaler, he has one of the worst childhood out there, and he prays to God even when he never answers.

But the moment Vlad rejected God, what did he do? He cursed Vlad, banished him from any chance of going to heaven, some might say because of his sins, but what about before all of that? Why doesn't he answer his prayer?

Why is he not answering any of our prayers? If he genuinely loves his creations, why are humans the way they are?

After learning about his existence, I can say so many things about God, and let say I have no faith in God to do anything right anymore. He might indeed have some plan for all of us, but just because he has a plan doesn't mean I need to agree with it.

So, what I'm going to do, is to show God that we humans have the potential to become something greater, something that surpasses even God himself,

And the first step of this is by doing something that people said God could do, which is creating life.

I will show God that humans have the potential to become and surpass him one day!!"
