Rize kept driving and soon reached a park. Without slowing down, she directed the car toward the pond.

"Hey? Are you blind?" Flash asked, gripping the side bars tightly as he looked at Rize, bewildered.

"Ever heard of secret hideouts?" Max asked calmly, while Peter sat watching quietly, already knowing what was about to happen.

Under the curious eyes of MJ, Harry, Gwen, and Flash, the car dove into the water, transforming into a submarine. They continued downwards until they reached a tunnel-like entrance to an underground cavern. As they entered, a vast, city-like structure came into view.

"Why is there a freaking city under Manhattan?" Flash shouted in disbelief, while Harry looked around in awe.

MJ and Gwen's minds were already blown away as Rize stopped the car in front of a central building. Max stepped out of the vehicle as everyone else began exiting one by one.

"Welcome to our little hideout," Max said, as everyone looked around in wonder.

"This huge city is your hideout? And what do you mean by hideout—are you running a gang or something?" Flash asked incredulously.

"You could say that," Max replied, "but now, you're all targets." He pointed at them as everyone froze, feeling an uneasy sensation wash over them. Up until now, the adrenaline had kept them from fully processing what was happening, but now they could sense the danger.

"What is this?" Flash shouted as his hand was suddenly engulfed in energy.

"Ragh! Is it magic? Fire?" Gwen gasped, staring at Flash's glowing hand, while Harry instinctively shielded himself.

Hahahahaha!

Both Peter and Max burst out laughing, confusing everyone else. "Welcome to our superhero gang!" Max said, grinning as he twirled his hand. A mesmerizing display of darkness appeared, twisting in the air before forming roses that gently landed in Gwen's hands.

Gwen looked at the dark roses, unsure of what to make of the situation.

"Now, do you all remember something biting you?" Max asked, his tone suddenly serious.

Peter, Gwen, MJ, Harry, and Flash exchanged glances and nodded, recalling the strange stinging sensation they felt during their visit to Oscorp.

"That was no coincidence," Max said. "It's all connected."

"What do you mean?" Peter asked, his eyes narrowing.

"I have the power of foresight," Max explained. "I can see possible futures. I saw Peter gaining his powers after being bitten by that spider—becoming Spider-Man."

"Wait, you expect us to believe we turned into superheroes just because we got bit by something?" MJ said, raising an eyebrow. "It's probably just some fancy Oscorp tech messing with us."

"Yeah! My hand's on fire, but it's probably just a trick," Flash added, waving his glowing hand. The others nodded in agreement, still skeptical.

"I knew you'd say that," Max replied calmly. He suddenly pulled out a small black blade and, with precise accuracy, threw it at them. They all sensed the danger from those dagger like blades and dodged the blade in an instant, moving with unnatural speed.

"Still think this is a joke?" Max asked, gesturing to the cracks left in the wall by the blade. "Now imagine what would've happened if you hadn't dodged it like that."

Flash stared at his hand, now understanding the gravity of the situation. The others, too, looked around in disbelief, realizing they really have now super powers.

"He's telling the truth. I've been with him for over a year now," Peter said, stepping forward. "Remember when I missed classes last week? We went to Mexico to meet someone, and we even fought a giant black robot there." He pulled out his phone and showed them a video as proof.

"See this? I always knew I'd get powers thanks to Max's foresight. I was just waiting. But I didn't expect we'd all gain powers at the same time," Peter added, looking at his friends.

MJ, Gwen, Harry, and Flash all turned to Max for answers. "You said Peter gains powers and ends up becoming a superhero named Spider-Man, right?" MJ asked.

"Yes, that's exactly what I saw," Max replied.

"Then what about us?" Gwen asked, curious.

"You all turned into heroes alongside Peter," Max explained. "Peter leads the team, but I only saw your images with funny names in a newspaper. They called you the 'Midtown Kings,'" he chuckled, recalling the memory.

"Midtown Kings? That's a weird name," Harry commented, unimpressed.

MJ and Gwen nodded in agreement, while Flash shrugged. "Yeah, but it makes sense since we're all from Midtown anyway," Flash added with a grin.

Max looked at him and chuckled inwardly, Midtown Kings was what exactly , Flash aka Agent venom used to call them as they found out each of them are actually super heroes.

"Anyway, that's why I called you all here," Max said, his tone serious. "When you idiots flashed your identities all over the world, villains started targeting your families for revenge—for sending them to jail." His words made everyone tense up immediately.

"So, this time, I intercepted you all to prevent you from exposing your superhero identities any further," he added.

MJ nodded, realizing the gravity of the situation. "Yes, if we had gone to the hospital for a check-up after getting our powers, our identities would've surely been leaked."

Peter nodded too, then turned to Max. "What exactly are our powers, by the way?" he asked, looking at Max, curious about what he might have seen in his foresight.

The others also looked at him, eager for answers. Of course, they had all grown up reading comics, and now, with powers of their own, they wanted to know just how super they were.

"I really wonder what mine will be," MJ said, glancing at Gwen.

"Same here," Gwen added.

"Mine better be something cool," Harry chimed in.

"And I'll be the strongest," Flash declared confidently.

"But all you do is glow like a light bulb—are you sure you'll be the strongest? Pffft," Harry teased, laughing at Flash, about his glowing hand earlier.

"shut up! It must be something col...Right?" Flash shouted only to look at his hand in question.
