"It seems the professor has already informed you about me," Ye Hai chuckled. "I have transplanted your telekinetic ability. I haven't yet integrated any other abilities because my cellular strength isn't sufficient for further fusion."
"Your cellular strength is already quite strong. You've fused so many X genes; I'm really worried about your body breaking down," the Phoenix Woman said somewhat speechlessly.
Ye Hai pointed to his own head with confidence, saying, "I trust my intellect. My brain tells me it won't break down, so it won't!"
The Phoenix Woman rolled her eyes and said, "I hope that's the case," and then her eyes sparkled with hope as she looked at Ye Hai and asked, "Ye, do you have a solution to my problem, um, my Phoenix problem?"
Ye Hai replied calmly, "I'm sorry, Jean, your problem isn't genetic; it's at the soul level. Right now, I know nothing about the soul, so I'm powerless against your Black Phoenix. However, I will gradually research this field. Do you remember that Blood God? The Blood God is the soul of an ancient vampire. Once I capture him, I can start studying soul issues."
"Alright, just call me anytime you need help," the Phoenix Woman said.
The Phoenix's issue had been troubling her; she both feared and craved the power of the Phoenix. She longed for the day she could fully control her abilities but felt helpless alongside the professor. Now that Ye Hai had displayed extraordinary intelligence, she pinned her hopes on him.
In an unknown cave, the Shape-shifting Woman...
She had an argument with a woman.
The woman was blonde and blue-eyed, with an elegant figure and an alluring charm that combined both Eastern and Western beauty; she was truly a rare beauty.
This woman was the White Queen, a trusted subordinate of Magneto.
Mystique exclaimed, "Emma, we're using three mutants created by the machine, one of whom is already dead. The other two are still very weak, which suggests there are flaws in the machine created by Erik. We must stop this plan, or it will lead to a terrible disaster. Don't you want to see the citizens of New York and dignitaries from various countries dying?"
The White Queen shrugged indifferently and replied, "What you're saying does not concern me. This is the decision of our boss, Magneto. He believes the machine is under careful control and there won't be any problems. These three mutants are just test subjects, and failures are expected in such cases."
"It's too rushed! The experiment hasn't been a complete success. How can we gamble with so many lives for this experiment? This is playing with lives!"
Mystique was frantic. She knew she couldn't persuade Magneto, who currently relied more on the strategic insights of the White Queen. Mystique wanted to convince the White Queen to pressure Magneto, but she clearly overlooked the White Queen's deep-seated hatred for humanity.
The White Queen had once been captured and used as a test subject by humans, an experience that left her with no remaining goodwill towards humanity and turned her into a figure of intense hatred. Such sentiments were not uncommon among Magneto's followers.
The White Queen coldly stated, "For decades, humans have conducted experiments on us mutants without ever caring whether we live or die. Why should we care about their well-being? If they perish, so be it."
Mystique cried out, "But that will only make humans hate us mutants even more…"
