In the academy, the one most sensitive to electric currents is undoubtedly the Electric Light Man. However, after searching through the entire network several times, he could not find any trace of the Blood God, indicating that this fellow had escaped far away.

"What should we do now?" Ye Hai asked with concern. "If the Blood God comes looking for Knife Edge, isn't he in great danger?"

"Don't worry," the professor reassured him. "From my contact with the Blood God, I've touched upon some aspects of his thinking. Were you all invaded by the Blood God during the summoning ritual?"

"Yes," Ye Hai nodded.

"That's it," the professor said with a slight nod. "The Blood God cannot easily invade Knife Edge's mind; he needs the summoning ritual to do so. He must re-establish a magic circle to take over Knife Edge."

"So that's how it is," Ye Hai exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. "This guy is an ancient being; he must know quite a bit about vampire magic!"

The professor furrowed his brow. "From my contact with his thoughts, they appear quite chaotic. His soul is incomplete, having lost many memories, so we cannot know how much magic he still remembers."

Ye Hai chuckled, "Regardless, I must capture such a valuable entity."

However, Knife Edge interjected, "Since it poses no immediate danger, I feel relieved. Dr. Ye, I'll take my leave now; I have many things to attend to."

Saying this, he turned and left without greeting the professor and others.

The Electric Light Man relaxed his shoulders and said, "That guy is really cool, isn't he?"

"Electric Light Man, that's just his personality; don't take it personally," Ye Hai replied with a faint smile. He then patted the Electric Light Man's shoulder, causing sparks of electricity to leap. "How's your training going? Have you gone on any missions recently?"

Ye Hai's friendly gesture moved the Electric Light Man. He replied, slightly excited, "I've already been on a mission! I defeated a burly man who was Sabretooth, one of Magneto's subordinates, and I also saved two people—a wolf and a little girl."

"A wolf?" Ye Hai asked, surprised. "Was it Wolverine?"

"Yes, do you know him?"

"No, I've just heard of him," Ye Hai inquired further, "What was the little girl's name?"

"She calls herself Little Rascal!"

The Electric Light Man looked as if he wanted to say more but hesitated. Ye Hai laughed and patted his shoulder again, saying, "You're worried your appearance might scare off the kids? Do you want me to change your look?"

"No one can compare to you, Dr. Ye," the Electric Light Man replied with a wry smile. "You don't have mind abilities too, do you?"

"I don't have that ability at this moment," Ye Hai said with a smile, looking at the Electric Light Man's electrified face. "The reason I can read your thoughts is that your feelings are written all over your face."

He then laughed heartily and said, "Alright, leave your appearance issue to me; I'll definitely solve it for you in a few days."

"Thank you, Dr. Ye!"

After the Electric Light Man left, Ye Hai rushed into the laboratory. He was now in a state of activated Level Four Brain Region. This optimal condition was something he rarely activated, as he didn't want to waste it.
