Chapter 213: Juggernaut and Hulk

After three full days, Bella finally woke up from her deep slumber.

Her exhausted energy and magic had completely recovered. Moreover, after six months of intense consumption, Bella's soul and magic had significantly increased, and her magical core had even achieved self-improvement.

Although the magical core was modified by external forces, it essentially functions as a human organ rather than an externally added machine.

The heart is still the heart, and it possesses the ability to grow with its host.

After all, as Bella, Wanda, and others grow, their magic will also increase significantly. If the magical core remained unchanged, it would eventually be overwhelmed by the ever-growing magic.

However, this is not the main point. The main point is that after Bella woke up, Bi Xiao took Bella and Wanda to heaven.

Heaven is a dimensional world, a realm. Compared to the main universe, it is not as large but still quite vast. Heaven is imbued everywhere with immense holy light, which, over countless years of transformation by Yahweh and the angels, has made heaven breathtakingly beautiful.

The Jesus Church, the fountain at Navona Square, the Temple of God—these exquisite buildings and palaces blend with the landscape, making the place perfect in terms of environment. Even from a human aesthetic perspective, it is undoubtedly a holy land.

The architectural style is different from Asgard.

Asgard combines majesty with splendor seamlessly, while heaven embodies ultimate beauty. Every place, floor, garden, building, and palace is designed with immense aesthetic appeal.

At least when Bi Xiao brought Bella and Wanda to heaven, both were quite satisfied with the environment.

"This is the legendary heaven? It truly lives up to its reputation; it is indeed very beautiful." Wanda floated above the clouds, gazing at the endless white clouds and the buildings suspended within them, expressing her admiration.

These buildings are constructed within the clouds, below which lie an endless sea and many beautiful islands with various marine creatures.

There is essentially no land.

This place is truly beautiful. Although the angels of heaven have their many sordid affairs, their external presentation is quite impeccable.

Everything is ready to use, but Bi Xiao wasn't too impressed.

Many architectural styles retained traces of heaven, so reconstruction was inevitable. Bi Xiao considered Wanda and Bella's suggestions.

The two were quite excited, as this was entirely different from managing a simulation building game; this was real construction.

Considering Bi Xiao's Chinese heritage, Wanda decided on a classical theme—classical, wooden immortal palaces. Bi Xiao immediately had an idea of ancient fairy worlds, such as the classical buildings and palace landscapes of cultivation sects.

In fact, the style of heaven was quite good, but Bi Xiao didn't favor the luxurious, grand architecture.

At least compared to that, he preferred a more leisurely, classical style.

With Bi Xiao's current capabilities, the transformation was quite simple and didn't waste resources. Heaven's countless years of accumulated foundation meant these materials were top-tier. So Bi Xiao simply disassembled all of heaven's buildings.

It was just a matter of thought.

Then, based on a virtual model constructed in his mind, he began to assemble and build, similar to playing Minecraft. This sense of joy made Bi Xiao find it quite interesting.

Soon, a beautiful world like a fairyland was completed.

Islands stood floating in the sky, shrouded in mist, with celestial aura drifting around. The surrounding islands were like stars, extraordinarily beautiful. On these islands were bridges that seemed like converging stars, huge squares in front of tall, classical wooden buildings, the ground paved with immaculate white marble, all creating a sense of insignificance at first sight.

In the distance, the clouds floated lightly, as if they were veils, even drifting underfoot.

Fountains, gardens, trees, mountains, and these buildings blended perfectly. The islands had lakes, waterfalls, and wooden bridges made of chains, everything one could think of.

The islands also had towering peaks with many buildings atop them, verdant mountains, magnificent palaces, clouds rising and encircling, and occasionally white cranes and birds flying by. There were also many animals on the islands, all appearing carefree and content.

The ecological environment here was different from the original heaven. Heaven, filled with holy light, under Yahweh's directive, only had daylight.

Darkness was absolutely not allowed, as heaven symbolized light, and darkness could not shroud it.

Bi Xiao didn't care about that. Being accustomed to Earth's life with its day and night, four seasons, he didn't want to miss these landscapes. Rainy days and overcast skies were some of his most important memories and habits.

So after mastering the powers of heaven, he immediately modified its ecological environment to resemble Earth's weather.

Sunshine and sunrise, the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, hot summer days, falling autumn leaves, winter snow.

Just like now, it was spring all year round, with suitable temperatures, misty fairy clouds, and warm, gentle sunlight shining on the floating islands in the sky, making them exceedingly beautiful.

Not only was Bi Xiao very accomplished, but even Bella and Wanda, as Westerners, were full of praise.

No matter the style, beauty is beauty and never becomes ugly due to different aesthetic perspectives.

This earthly paradise, compared to the previous solemn and majestic, golden-outlined heavenly style, is much more natural.

The two women liked it here very much.

They enthusiastically found a building at the top of a mountain on the central island and walked in. It was like a high tower, a classical-style tower building situated atop the mountain. Sitting on the edge of the balcony corridor, overlooking the earthly paradise below, their mood must have been exceedingly joyful and wonderful.

The only drawback might have been the lack of popularity.

With a thought, wooden chairs, a long table, and tea sets automatically appeared in front of them. After a fluid tea brewing process, the two women leisurely drank tea and admired the outside scenery, shaking their heads contentedly.

However, in such an environment, their typically Western faces and clothing seemed somewhat out of place, but who cares?

Bi Xiao thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful time.

At the Mutant Academy in New York, many students were peering out of the teaching building, craning their necks to look outside.

The reason was a familiar figure swaggering about, demanding the appearance of Professor X.

With a massive and muscular build, wearing a tank top and a metal helmet on his head, he was none other than Juggernaut.

Since Magneto's death a few years ago, Juggernaut had stayed in Forks Town, protecting Bella. After a year, Bella released him, and Juggernaut, carrying two large boxes of money, headed to New York to find his enemy, Professor X.

He indeed found him. Although his intelligence was not high due to the crimson gem and energy transformation, it did not mean his memory was poor. He still remembered following Magneto to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

So Juggernaut stormed in, clashing with the X-Men more than once.

Juggernaut's special physique and strength caused headaches for the X-Men, as even Wolverine, with his adamantium claws, couldn't break through Juggernaut's defenses.

Professor X's psychic powers were also ineffective against him. Juggernaut had a certain degree of resistance to psychic powers, and furthermore, he wore a metal helmet similar to Magneto's, which blocked psychic attacks.

Thus, the X-Men could only gang up on Juggernaut.

The result was a battle that destroyed the originally beautiful lawn square, costing a lot to repair. Juggernaut was driven back, and though he could have stayed, he had no choice. His formidable strength and unstoppable collision ability were indeed terrifying.

At one point, in his rage, he nearly destroyed the academy's teaching building. However, the X-Men were not easy to deal with.

Storm unleashed her power, summoning a massive tornado that lifted Juggernaut off the ground. In the air, Juggernaut was vulnerable, subject to continuous attacks.

Cyclops's optic blasts relentlessly hit Juggernaut, and when Juggernaut fell to the ground, ready to rise, Storm summoned another tornado to lift him again.

This series of combos frustrated Juggernaut, as he had no solution.

Additionally, other X-Men provided support. Realizing he couldn't defeat the X-Men, Juggernaut retreated. But Juggernaut was stubborn, continually returning to fight the X-Men, making it almost a regular event at the academy.

Juggernaut's power was ever-changing, with the crimson gem's energy continuously enhancing him, allowing him to master the crimson power and magic to the fullest. Meanwhile, the X-Men were constantly developing targeted equipment and weapons.

Neither side could gain the upper hand. Juggernaut's single demand was that he would stop harassing the school if Professor Charles allowed him to beat him up severely, ideally to death. This, of course, was unacceptable to Professor X and the X-Men, creating a stalemate.

Today, Juggernaut returned again.

However, unlike his expectations, the X-Men had new allies—the Avengers, whose first task was to help them deal with Juggernaut.

Juggernaut's data seemed formidable to Tony and Fury, but not overly so, so they readily agreed.

Moreover, Tony and Fury saw another possibility in Juggernaut.

Upon detecting Juggernaut's presence, the Avengers immediately mobilized. Although the initial plan was to intercept him in a more remote area, Juggernaut's unstoppable charge quickly brought him to the school. Given its remote location, the battle was simply held there.

Besides, the Avengers had the Hulk. No matter how unstoppable Juggernaut was, they believed Hulk could hold him off.

Juggernaut felt uneasy, his eyes shifting nervously under his metal helmet. Apart from his old rivals, the X-Men, he now faced a few new opponents. Glancing at Iron Man floating in the air, then at another unfamiliar figure and another seemingly frail man, he sensed an inexplicable danger.

Juggernaut snorted, his instincts telling him to leave, but since when did he follow reason?

Juggernaut had never been reasonable.

He only knew one way forward without turning back, like a bull charging at a red cape. He needed to destroy, to vent, to see rivers of blood.

Like an enraged bull, the Juggernaut strode forward with great strides. Storm's eyes sparkled with electricity, Bruce Banner squinted, and Natasha and Barton retreated to a safer distance. Barton had multi-functional arrows that could offer some help.

Natasha's main task was to look after the students. If the battle took an unexpected turn, she would immediately lead them to evacuate through the school's dedicated escape routes.

They had rehearsed this many times, so evacuation would be quick under guidance.

In reality, this concern was minimal. The Hulk's power was overwhelming, and no matter how strong the Juggernaut was, he couldn't possibly get past the Hulk.

Tony Stark, as Iron Man, had made preparations since the X-Men joined to tackle the Juggernaut.

As the Juggernaut charged forward, a whistling sound came from above. Huge rectangular metal blocks fell like swords, landing right in front of the Juggernaut, forming thick metal walls.

The Juggernaut crashed into them headfirst, causing the metal to skid across the ground and dent.

Although the walls didn't break completely, they significantly slowed the Juggernaut's advance.

Subsequently, more metal structures fell in sequence, tightly arranged to form a completely enclosed metal cage.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Enraged, the Juggernaut roared and pounded the metal walls with his strong arms. His powerful blows shook the ground, leaving dents on the metal walls.

Tony hovered above, looking down.

This was his gift for the Juggernaut, crafted from special materials designed to absorb impact. The Juggernaut would need a lot of time to break through.

This time allowed for the next steps in Tony's plan.

Just as Tony was preparing to execute the next phase, the metal cage suddenly fell silent, as if the Juggernaut had given up.

But was that possible?

Tony raised an eyebrow, about to speak, when his pupils contracted. The ground suddenly caved in, pulling the metal cage with it. Realizing something was wrong, Tony shouted, "Banner."

As expected, the Juggernaut emerged from the sunken ground.

He had exploited the ground's weakness to escape the metal walls, something Tony hadn't anticipated given the Juggernaut's usual lack of intellect.

Yet, he had done it swiftly.

This disrupted Tony's capture plan, forcing him to call upon his last resort.

Roar!!

The Juggernaut emerged, proud of his cunning, only to be startled by a louder roar.

A green figure charged at him, larger than him.

This infuriated the Juggernaut, who prided himself on his strength. Who did this green figure think he was?

The Juggernaut didn't know how to dodge and charged head-on, which led to his downfall.

Though powerful, the Hulk was now on a different level after two years of growth, reaching near-demi-god status. He had matured intellectually, adopting a more strategic approach in combat.

After repeatedly losing to fighters like Pietro, Thor, and Loki, the Hulk had learned martial techniques through his body's endurance.

Under this enhanced Hulk's assault, the Juggernaut could only be a punching bag.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Hulk was delighted, repeatedly pummeling the Juggernaut like a machine gun.
