This phrase, often associated with resilience and strength, perfectly encapsulates Su Chen's journey. Even now, he remains unaware of any force that could truly end his existence. At first, he had a vague sense that as long as a single cell remained, he could regenerate. But now, he realizes his being is anchored so deeply in reality that he cannot be erased.

"It's time to say goodbye," Su Chen said, his voice devoid of the fearsome power of Black Bolt's sonic abilities. Yet, his calm, emotionless tone sent a shiver down Black Bolt's spine, like a nightmare that wouldn't end. This humiliation was unbearable. He, the proud king of the Inhumans, should not be lying on the ground.

Furious, Black Bolt shouted, "Die!" His voice, filled with rage, unleashed a catastrophic sonic blast that tore through the heavens. But once again, Su Chen remained unharmed, absorbing the deadly sound waves effortlessly. His skin, like the stealth coating of a fighter jet absorbing radar signals, took in the sonic energy, leaving him untouched.

Maximus watched in disbelief. How could this man withstand the full power of Black Bolt's voice, and with increasing ease each time? As Su Chen descended from the sky, bathed in a brilliant aura, Black Bolt's instinct to survive kicked in. His body screamed for him to flee, but the shame of running gnawed at him.

But before Black Bolt could escape, Su Chen had already reached him. With a swift, powerful punch, Su Chen shattered Black Bolt's skull, ending the Inhuman king's life in an instant. The proud king, who had only just arrived, was dead before he could even begin to enact his plans.

"Your lives are the price for the mutants you've slaughtered," Su Chen declared, having ruthlessly avenged the fallen mutants by slaying the Inhuman king.

Meanwhile, across the world, Carol Danvers—Captain Marvel—had wiped out the Inhumans responsible for the tragedy in Central City. These Inhumans, with Kree genes, had unleashed the Terrigen Mist, slaughtering humans. Carol, who had spent years fighting the Kree Empire in space, was sickened by their actions on Earth. Following the signal from their communication devices, she flew towards the West Coast.

"More mutant slaughter?" she muttered as she passed through another town, where a massive robot was systematically hunting and killing mutants.

"A Sentinel," she realized after hacking into its systems with her alien wristwatch.

Carol frowned. As she gathered more information, she became increasingly aware of the dire situation mutants faced on Earth.

Her wristwatch suddenly alerted her, "Scanning complete. The target site is continuously transmitting signals into space, amplified by the sun, and spreading across dozens of light-years."

"What?" Carol's expression darkened.

"Analyze the signal," she commanded.

The recklessness of S.H.I.E.L.D. was alarming. Had they tampered with her equipment? What were they thinking? The signal was meant to be directed, undetectable by other extraterrestrial beings. But their actions were akin to broadcasting Earth's location to the entire universe.

"Message decoded," the wristwatch's AI reported. A girl's voice echoed:

'My civilization has fallen. Do not hesitate, come here and destroy us.'

Carol's heart sank as she realized the truth: They had already made contact with forces beyond Earth.
