Chapter Sixty-one(61)

It seemed like hundreds to thousands of years of not following her father's footsteps had not only weakened her so badly that she could not only feel the pain of hunger but it also reduced all her physical and mental prowess, intellect included. James didn't know if this was true since he saw nothing about it in the Wiki book but then again Gali had been hungry for all her life so maybe it was true.

"At least you know how dumb that was and also what was going through your mind, human food would never satisfy a Galacti" James said, the name 'Galacti' was the new name James came up with to classify the cosmic family of two since two makes a race.

"Okay don't judge, I'd admit, it wasn't the brightest idea I have ever had but I was hungry" Gali immediately became defensive

"That's your business, anyway I hope you have a place to stay and all that"

"Actually….. no, I just arrived in Elysium today" Gali answered as she started playing with her fingers

"Okay now I'm curious, how long have you been on Earth" James asked

"I don't know, 50-100 years I think I have been asleep half that time"

"And you didn't think of getting a permanent roof over your head"

"Well I did but it's not on Earth"

"Just follow me, Paris can you arrange accomodation for her on the tower" James said after a sigh

[Yes sir]

"Thanks then" James replied then turned back to the girl and teleported them both out of the dimension.

Appearing back in Elysium at the entrance to the stadium which was now nearly emptied as nearly everyone had entered the venue and taken their seats. Gali was still in her Galacti getup but James didn't have to worry about it, this was a comic-con. Nobody would care that much instead they would assume, she was dressed after some comic character from some old comic that nobody knows about. Immediately they appeared, James felt the now familiar suppression he usually felt on his abilities again and from the uncomfortable and shocked look on Gali's face, it was obvious she could no longer use her abilities.

"Your outfit is really conspicuous but it'll do, now follow me" James said as he led her through security and into the stadium as James made his way to his seat.

"Brother!!!" Cassy screamed once she say James and James smiled as he picked her up from Matthew's shoulders

"I never knew you could ever miss me" James confessed

"Meeh" Cassy stuck her tongue out then proceeded to climb her way to his shoulders and started playing with James' hair

"Okay, Cassy, my watch?" James asked as he stretched his hands to collect his watch

"No, mmh mmh" Cassy said then placed her hands behind and in the process nearly falling off her position

"Okay, you can keep it for now"

"Ehm, James, who's that" Matthew asked when he noticed Gali sitting beside me

"A new friend, Gali, this is Matthew my best friend and Matthew say hello to Gali" James said to introduce them both

"Oh then Hi, I never knew James could make another friend" Matthew said and James immediately held his heart in mock hurt while Cassy laughed at his reaction

"Ehh…." Gali said awkwardly as she alternated between James and Matthew but thankfully, Matthew noticing the awkward moment didn't press on

After a few seconds of waiting, thankfully the event started and Cassy immediately started jumping up and down in excitement or doing whatever was the equivalent of it since she was on James' shoulder. The event lasted nearly an hour as people questioned the Comic Authors. Of course, the authors here were not just those employed by Elysium but basically every Author that was able to make it. The event was fun and after the main event, people went around showing off their costumes. Cosplay became the main event of the rest of the day and Cassy and Matthew made sure to show everyone what they were dressed as. Gali probably enjoyed herself too as she too joined the duo.
