Blaze Reigns was still signing autographs with a fake smile plastering on his lips, as much as he wants to rebuke the fan girls he has to keep up with the facade to save face and maintain his place in the eyes of the media as the city girl's heartthrob.

He was always on the verge of losing his cool when he noticed a gorgeous lady making her way towards him with measured steps,her long hair dancing in the wind and her dark shades covering her eyes that he presumed would be as beautiful as her.

" Wait a minute I recognize that face from somewhere" Blaze muttered to himself shaking his head a bit .

Chloe walked through the crowd with her dark shade on concealing her face from the crowd, fortunately for her the crowd gave way for her to work through, " maybe my aura of fame is still intact " she thought. After her successful breakthrough she came to stand beside Blaze who was obviously staring daggers at her but she turned a blind eye to it.

" Hello, am Joanna Gaines, Blaze manager and handler, as you all can see our idol is exhausted after a long ride , why don't we give him a day off to have some rest ,and tomorrow he's going to have a press conference and y'all we have to ask your questions and also get answers to them". Chloe said smiling sweetly to the crowd who seemed to be moved by her speech and made way for them to pass through.

After walking a distance from the media and fans Blaze halted Chloe who was walking beside him halted too.

" What the hell do you call what you did back there ? "

" Oh that, I call it ass saving"

" Ass what?"

" Saving," Chloe replied with her smile still on

" The name is Chloe Adams by the way, your pickup driver for today," she said, sticking out her hand for a shake.

" Chloe Adams ? Rose's murderer " Blaze asked astonished with the turn of events.

" Yes! Rose's murderer " she added the last part with her smiles still on just that this time she wasn't smiling heartily but bitterly.

" So sorry I forgot about the tag " she said not allowing her emotions to take over

" Not only did you kill Rose , you also married her fiance, aren't you shameless?" Blaze said, not coming to terms with the fact that Rose is gone forever.

" I'm not, why should I be? I've sacrificed enough already or haven't I ?"

" My name, fame , money everything to be a stay home wife to your self-centered brother Liam Reigns" she said poking him on the chest with her fingers, she didn't know where the energy and morale came from but she needed it anyway and she made use of it .

Blaze was stunned for a moment how sharp and willful she was , he didn't know when he took a step back, for her to step closer , he kept walking back and she closing the distance between them as well till his back connected with what he called a 'mini car' , her sharp nails grazing his chest

" Not only are you shameless but sharp-tongued as well". Blaze hissed.

" What can I say, I am honored" Chloe said, taking a mock bow.

The ride home was awkward coupled with Chloe's slow driving that was irritating Blaze.

" Are you this slow when driving?"

" I can't help it , I borrowed this car from a friend so I can't afford to scratch it. Besides being a law abiding citizen I am driving within the speed limit speculated for drivers on this road " she said for Blaze to growl in sheer disappoinment.

" Are you that poor,that you can't afford a car " he said sarcastically

" Yes, I am indeed poor , how about I become your driver so you can pay me daily?" Chloe mocked. She can't be dealing with Liam and his brother will be busy dishing his own on her as well.

" Humph"

Chloe smiled knowingly to herself for teasing him back, she adjusted the rear view mirror to see his facial expressions but the car behind them caught her attention.

" Uhm—-Blaze do you perhaps have company ? "

"No!Why?"

" Do you recognize this car behind us they have been trailing us all the way from the airport"

Blaze's face darkened after he turned and recognized the plate number of the car trailing them from behind .

" Dammit" he hissed

"What's wrong" Chloe asked after she noticed the change in him

" Step on it , we have to lose that car behind us"

Chloe needed not to be told twice and she stepped on the pedal increasing the speed of their car. She took another road different from the area they were going, another car came out of nowhere intercepting their car bringing it to a screeching halt.
