Dream

Chloe stirred in her sleep when she felt the morning sun shone on her face. She frowned in her sleep and turned, covering herself with the duvet .

The large velvet curtains were pulled open again , and the morning sun streamed in full capacity . But she still didn't want to wake up .

The confused maid scratched her hair awkwardly. She had thought Chloe would wake up after she pulled the curtains but she didn't. It occurred to her that her madam was really tired . She didn't know how else to wake her up without incurring her wrath thereby losing her job. On one hand she had to carry out Sir Liam's orders and on the other hand she didn't want to interrupt Madam's sleep.

I stood at the altar with smiles,my dreams finally coming true , Liam was smiling at me as he said his vows , His eyes harbored so much love and warmth . I turned and saw my family and friends. Their faces were full of smiles. Rose stood beside me as my bridesmaid. In the front row of the hall sat my mother and father ,with my brother Tyler , his curly hair was combed neatly . He smiled at me and I smiled back. If this is a dream I don't wanna ever wake up. Never !

But wait a minute , aren't those two supposed to be dead ? I mean my parents ! And Rose too ! Am I dead ? If I am dead , is Liam dead too ? .series of questions but no one to answer them . This has to be a dream.

" Chloe Adams , do you take Liam Reigns as your lovely wedded husband?" The priest's voice rang out . With quivering lips I shook my head , "No" ! I managed to say it but it came out like a whisper. I turned to my best friend Rose for help, what I saw was a gun pointed to my face .

Why will Rose want to kill me ? I didn't kill her ! Altho I had a hand in her death. I thought I was talking to her but I wasn't, rather my lips were moving but nothing came out. Sweat trickled down my face when her finger moved to the trigger, I took two steps back .

Bam !

Chloe woke up with a start , beard's of sweat formed on her forehead . Her chest rising and failing, her heart beating loudly trying to burst out of her ribcage,I bet one came to hear it from afar.

She wiped the sweat with the back of her palm ,

" It's a dream !It's truly a dream !Be calm now Chloe " She told herself, pulling herself together as she scrutinized her surroundings . The room was quite larger and more spacious than hers , with dull colors of gray and white . And she laid on a king sized bed , a dazzling chandelier hung on the ceiling, and a large portrait of Liam sitting on a king's chair was on the wall.

" This is Liam's room , but what am I doing here ? How did I even get home ?" She asked out loud

" Sir Liam brought you home last night " came the voice of the maid who had been standing for almost an hour waiting for Chloe to wake up . And when she gave up and tried to wake her she woke up instead .

" Sorry?Do I know you ?" Asked the surprised Chloe who didn't notice the maid had been standing there all along.

" My name is Clara , Sir Liam , instructed me to take care of you when you wake up"

" Take care of me ? What ? Am I a kid ? "

" He said you drank a lot last night" At the mention of last night, memories of the past day flooded her brain, and her head arched really badly .

" And you might have a hangover" she added the last part , when she saw Chloe hands on her head holding it as if it might fall off.

' Remember to stay clear of alcohol in the future Chloe , if one glass of wine will knock you out how about two glasses ! She reprimanded herself , I must have made a fool out of myself and embarrassed Liam ! Uhh !!! She tugged her head and hissed .

" You said Liam brought me back home right?"

" Yes ma "

"And where is he now "

" He has left for his office in the early hours of the morning"

"Oh! Yeah " she bit her lower lip , but how come I don't remember anything after we left the club . Chloe mumbled inwardly.

The sound of her cell phone brought her back to earth, she picked up the phone.

" Hey girl "

" Hi "

" How was your first day at the club ?" Daisy asked her excitement could be heard from her voice

" Good , I guess " was Chloe's awkward reply

" So sorry I couldn't pick you up at the club , I had an emergency at the office" Daisy apologized

" It's fine girl, it's no big deal" Chloe brushed it off, how can she tell her that her first day was a total disaster.

" You know what ! Let's meet up at our usual spot lemme make it up to you,and will fill me in on how your first day go , Don't worry bills on me " Daisy said

" Yeah, bills on you because I haven't gotten my paycheck yet " Chloe said, not minding how cheeky she sounds.

" Ma, are you going out ? "

" Yes ! Why ?"

" Nothing, your breakfast is served downstairs it must have turned cold by now let me hit it up for you "

" That's lovely , thank you "

" Am just doing my job ma " she gave me a small smile and strolled out of the room.
