Scarlett and Lucius were chit-chatting away, as Lucius devoured a small bunch of grapes. Time flew for Scarlett, but little did she know that outside, the crowd was buzzing like a beehive. After all, they were the only two missing from the table, and their seats were side by side. They couldn't have been more conspicuous if they tried.
Scarlett and Lucius made their grand re-entrance, and before anyone could say a word, Lucius took charge, "Get the driver to take her home."
Someone chimed in, "Why the rush? The night is young!"
Lucius replied, "She has class tomorrow."
Elijah, trying to be the cool guy, said, "She can crash here. We've got plenty of room upstairs."
Scarlett, flashing a smile, said, "Thanks, Mr. Brooks, but I'll pass. I've got some stuff to take care of at home."
Lucius, acting all chivalrous, said, "I'll walk you out."
