Chapter 3

We drove in silence until he pulled over into my house. I was about to thank him for the ride when he said "Will u go on an apology dinner with me tomorrow night?".

I thought about it and remembered my plans with Tony."I'm sorry but I already have plans with Tony". He looked at me with disbelieve " l just realized that you are pretty stupid, you have been in school with Tony for only God knows how many years and you still want to go out with him .

You know about how he has been using girls and dumping them after he gets into their pants. Tony is a player , Cherry please listen to me". I ignored him and was about to open the door when he grabbed my hand

" Cherry when he breaks ur heart don't tell me I didn't warn you" he said. I ignored him got down from his car entered the house and slammed the door.

I went into my room and slammed the door, I hate school, I hate Aiden. First day of school and I already know that this is going to be a very dramatic school year. I tried not to think about Aiden's words but all to no avail. I decided to take a shower to cool down and relax.

After taking a shower I started doing my assignments until I heard the doorbell. I ran down to get it, it was Phoebe. " Hey C", she said. I ushered her in and offered her a drink. We were discussing random things until I blurted out what Aiden asked me." He asked you out", she squealed. "Yeah but I turned him down."I said.

" Are you out of your fucking mind", she yelled. I started laughing at her outburst. She glared at me," what's the big deal", I asked." The big deal is that the school's hottest guy asked you out and you rejected him", she screamed.

Then I reminded her about Tony" Tony also asked me to dinner tomorrow night and I already told him I'd go with him". She nodded in understanding and we started discussing random things until the doorbell rang again. I got up to get it, it was Mia and her boyfriend Rick. I greeted her and went back to sit with Phoebe.

"Cher, dad's coming home this weekend", she said with a hint of annoyance in her tune. I replied with a nod then she asked me " did Aiden pick u up?" . I replied with a nod and an appreciative smile. "Hope he treated you nicely cause he can be a jerk atimes", that was when I spoke up " he's really rude next time you want to do something like that don't send a prick like that", I taunted.

She gave me and apologetic smile and said "sorry it was my fault I didn't know I was going to get caught up". I gave her a smile and told her not to bother and she brighten up and said" I'm throwing a party on Wednesday night since today is Monday we have a day to prepare". She ran upstairs before I could object with Rick trailing behind her.

I and Phoebe moved to my room to watch a movie before picking my dress for the dinner. We watched mean girls. After we finished, she picked a baby blue kneel length ball gown and a bule strapless heels to match.

After that she bid me goodbye and went home. After she left I brought out my phone and started playing temple run. I fell asleep doing that.
