Trying To Kill Herself

"Dad... I had promised you saying that I would take revenge but... the person whom I have to take revenge on... is my one and only love, Dad! Tell me what do I do? My mind is completely blank, Dad!" Ae Ra said as she stood in front of the grave of her father.

She knelt down and touched the gravestone. "I'm sorry! In this happiness, your daughter had completely forgotten about you. I'm sorry for being an unfilial child, Dad. Really sorry.." Ae Ra said in a small quivering voice. Her heart broke the moment she got to know that Yu Shik was the one.

And now when she came to see her father deep down under the ground, her heart clenched.

If she was a good daughter, she should have found the culprit back then itself... But she got to know who it was after 12 damn years. Maybe, if she had known who the culprit was back then, she wouldn't have been crying like this...

Ae Ra rubbed her eyes and stroked her stomach. With a smile on her face, she said "I have something more to say you, Dad. I wish you had been here to see me smile and laugh. But..."

She wiped the tears which were flowing down and continued "Your daughter is pregnant, Dad. She is gonna be a mother soon. Please, give me your blessings." She bowed her head and touched the name of her father written on the gravestone.

"I wish you hadn't done something bad to hurt his family, Dad. I don't know why you did that but I wish you hadn't..." Ae Ra finally said what she wanted to.

It was actually surprising for her to know that her father was the one who raped Yu Shik's mother...She had thought that her father was one of the best man in the world... But he wasn't. He was good for her but not for the others around him.

Ae Ra then said "You know Dad? If you hadn't did something to his Mom, you would have been alive, his parents would have been alive and your daughter would have been happy like always..." Her eyes showed disgust while her lips started to shiver. She was feeling disgusted by knowing what her father had done.

She know what she was doing was a wrong thing but this was the only thing which was going to satisfy her.

Slowly, from underneath her long coat, she took out a dagger and said "It is getting hard for me to keep on staying like this, Dad. I am gonna come to you... Take care of your daughter when she comes there, okay?"

She held the dagger tightly in her hand and pointed the sharp end towards her stomach. She had thought that killing herself would be the best decision ever...

With a bright smile on her face, Ae Ra said "I'm coming towards you, Dad. Your daughter shall come. I'm sorry for all this..." And bought the dagger slowly towards her stomach.

As the dagger touched her shirt, she heard the sound of a child crying...

*CLANG*

"What was I just doing? I was gonna kill my unborn child?" She asked to herself. Hearing the sound of crying in her subconscious mind, she threw the dagger.

"Ahhh! Why? Why do I have to go through this? WHY ME?" Ae Ra screamed while looking at the sky.

She rubbed her face with both her hands and yelled. "Ahh!"

She then took deep breaths and looked down at her stomach. "I'm sorry. Mommy is really...sorry...baby." She whimpered and stroked her stomach.

Meanwhile, Yu Shik stood behind a tree and observed everything. Tears fell from his eyes as he saw her in pain. He was surprised when he saw her holding a dagger. He was gonna run towards her to stop her from stabbing herself but before he did; he saw her throw the dagger away.

Yu Shik felt relieved. He felt subdued. "I wanted you to be always happy, Ae Ra! I didn't wanted you to cry." He said to himself and wiped his tears.

He quickly walked back to the car when he saw her coming back.

As he sat back in the car, Seo Young asked "What is wrong? Where is she?" She looked around and saw Ae Ra coming after.

Ae Ra got back in the car and said "Sorry, it took long! Let's go back, Seo Young!"

Seo Young gave a nod and turned on her car's engine. She turned back and asked "You are okay now, right?"

Ae Ra slightly nodded and Seo Young said back "Alright then.. How about we eat something?" As she received no response from Ae Ra, she looked at Yu Shik. She saw him looking out of the window.

Seeing, the wide gap in between them, Seo Young realized that they still hadn't gotten back.

She turned back front and said "My hunger is dead! Let's just head home..." And drove away.

An hour later, Seo Young stopped at Yu Shik's house. "Alright! Here we are...." She said excitedly and opened her door. Ae Ra also opened the door and walked out of the car. She stood near the entrance and opened the lock.

Both Seo Young and Ae Ra got inside while Yu Shik still sat inside the car thinking.

"I think she would be good if I leave her... After all this is what she wanted." He said to himself and stepped out of the car, he saw Seo Young come out.

"Where is she?" Yu Shik asked.

"She was feeling tired so, I left her in your room." Seo Young answered and opened her front door of the car. As she was stepping inside to sit, she heard Yu Shik's stern voice.

"I'm gonna divorce her!"
