Chapter 5 : Striking a deal.

Third person point of view

They reached the office and immediately followed Junkyu to Jin's office. Jin was pacing around the room and as soon as he saw them, he brought them to sit down. All of them sat down around the table again. " So, what is it ? " Jin asked looking at Junkyu. " He wants me to be his fake lover ". Junkyu deadpanned. " WHAT ? "

All of three of them were shocked and shouted at the same time. Junkyu expected as much. " You guys heard it right. That is what he said ". " Why would he want to do that ? " Jin asked not understanding it. " What the hell is he even thinking ? " Jihoon was the one who was mad now. " Exactly. Isn't it absurd ? " Hyunsuk added to that.

Junkyu sighed. " I don't know. Ugh ! " Junkyu held his head. He then explained what happened. All of them fell silent. " What were his conditions ? " Jin asked. " He only said that much. I guess he will let me know more if I agree. Ahhhh~ I don't know~ " Junkyu looked like he would cry. Jin looked at the other two and asked.

" What do you guys think ? " Jihoon turned to Hyunsuk. Hyunsuk saw Jihoon's gaze and turned to Jin. " I don't think we are the ones who should decide. It is up to Junkyu to decide ". Jihoon nodded agreeing with what Hyunsuk said and added. " We will support whatever it is ". " So what do you think Junkyu-ah ? " Jin turned to Junkyu again.

" I don't know hyung. I am so confused right now ". Junkyu said not knowing what to do. " Can we really not take them down ? " Jihoon asked. Jin sighed. " I am sorry to say something like this but they are definitely more influential than us. They can do more things than us. I can maybe do to a certain extent, but we cannot stop them completely. I wish I could do more ".

" Aye~ Hyung~ " Junkyu said looking at Jin. Jin gave a small smile. They all fell silent. " I wouldn't ask you to accept or reject; it is up to you. What you want to do with it is your own decision. But think before you take a decision. Like Jihoon said, we are going to support whatever decision you take ". Jin finished and the other two nodded.

Junkyu paced back and forth in the room. Even though it felt like a mess, the situation was pretty clear in a way. No matter what his decision is, there are going to be rumors for a while. Regardless of whether he agrees or not, whether it is true or not, there will be gossip for a while. Because love and break up is not new.

And the same goes for everyone. People would mull over it for a while and then get back to their own lives forgetting all of this. But if he doesn't agree then the rumors might turn ugly which was something he couldn't afford. Not that he had any bad records nor anything that could actually be played against him.

But people will believe something that came out from media first faster than what comes out of his mouth next regardless of which is true and which is not. And it will have an impact on a lot of things in a lot of ways. And he couldn't risk anything, considering his new project which was on line to air in a few more days.

Junkyu went and sat down again. " Will you really not be able to do much hyung ? " Jin ran a hand through his hair. " Not totally. Like I said, I can do to an extent. But sometimes it is beyond just money and TRP. I don't think we can compete with them if the situation goes that way. You also know it ". Junkyu picked up the bottle and drank some water.

Jin didn't like seeing Junkyu like that. He felt bad seeing Junkyu in this situation. " How about I speak to him for you ? I will see if there is any deal we can make without dragging you into this ". He suggested but Junkyu shook his head. " He is a business man. If he wanted a deal with you, he would've made it by now ". Jin sighed. Junkyu was right.

" I don't have much time to even think it over ". Junkyu said and went to stand in front of the window. He stared at the city in front of him. He just stared silently for a whole minute. If this was how he was going to play then he might as well play along for a while. He thought it over and it looked like there wasn't much of harm on his side.

And it looked like Haruto is capable of a lot of things, so there was going to be no problem. Considering the situation and from what he found out, he was most likely going to be acting as supposed his lover in front of his family was all. Junkyu took a deep breath. " Hyung, I will do it ". All three of them were shocked. Junkyu turned to look at them.

" Really ? " Jihoon asked looking at Junkyu with wide eyes. Junkyu nodded. " I am not sure what it will lead me to or what I might get myself into. But I feel like I have nothing to lose anyway and I already spent quite a number of my brain cells on it. I might get dizzy if I use more ". Jin chuckled. " Are you sure ? " Junkyu nodded. " I am ". Jin nodded and called Yoshi again.

Yoshi was in Haruto's office speaking to him when he received the call from Jin. He showed it to Haruto and picked up putting it on speaker. " Hello ". " Hello. I called to inform our decision ". Jin answered and put it on speaker as well. Yoshi glanced at Haruto who looked extremely calm. " That's nice to know. So what did you decide on ? "

" We decided to agree to it ". Haruto smiled a little. Jin looked up at the three who didn't say anything. Haruto gestured for Yoshi to give him the mobile. Yoshi put it on the table closer to Haruto. " Now would you mind giving the phone to my lover ? " All of them on the other side were startled by the deep voice that just came through the phone.

Junkyu rolled his eyes and raised his fist like he wanted to punch him but still answered. " What do you want ? " " Come to the office tomorrow and we will discuss all the things. Regarding the articles, I will take care of them. You don't need to say anything to the media. Just say ' I have nothing to say. Our company already released a statement ' utmost ".

Junkyu rolled his eyes. " Got it ". Yoshi got back on the call. " Please don't worry. Everything will be settled. We will make sure of it. I will contact your employees in a while ". " Thank you ". Jin hung up. Junkyu sat back in his chair. " You can go with them again tomorrow and settle it ". Jin said and the other two nodded. Junkyu also nodded.
