Chapter 128: The New Room

~ I didn't comment about his meeting and followed him upstairs. We made our way to the third floor. I peeked below the far drop from the balcony. Above me were wolf statues carved into the ceiling on the corner edges. Everything was so beautifully crafted and well designed. Before the hallway's wall cut the sight from seeing the ceiling. I saw was a cream-tan air-brush color. The hallway and stairs were covered in a deep red carpet and the rail was stone.

"This is our room," Cory said getting my attention from behind me. He walked into the dark red fancy door diagonal from the staircase.

Once I meet him inside, I was amazed, to walk inside a massive living room. The carpeting was white and the walls were grey-blue with black trim. It was fully furnished in black furniture. The black L-shaped couch and coffee table were centered in the living room. It appeared to seat ten people. A tv was hung on the right wall lined up with the one part of the couch. Then behind that same section of the couch. Was an island bar that sat seven people. Behind the bar was just an empty space. Across from the door entrance view, behind the other part of the couch, that is set sideways from the tv and bar. Had a long window and backless cushioned bench.

Down the wider hallway was the master bedroom. To the left was the curved balcony fully furnished from behind the glass window and doors. The master bed was in the center. I noticed a bigger black blue tint Gothic style vanity was placed on the left side across from the bedside.

Across from the bed was the bathroom. It had white trim and a marble creamy tan floor and the walls are a light shade of grey. To the left are the marble black sink and counters. Up against the right wall, across from the sink. Was an adjustable marble shower that could turn into a large jacuzzi. Then two hampers were to the right corner of the shower. Overall the room is set up like the one at his dad's mansion only it was much bigger.

"Is this room a double room?" I asked coming out of the bathroom.

Cory chuckled and said. "Nope but don't worry. I'll be on the couch it folds out into a bed. You can have the master bedroom." He walked over to the left side of the bed. Up against the same wall, the bedframe rested on. "Here's your closet to the left side, the same area as your other closet. Then my side will be on the right. On the same side as before too. Anywhere place we move around too. I'll get the right area you get the left."

"Easy enough to remember," I replied and watched him leave my side to his. In the same general area as his room at his dad's mansion. Cory pushed a hidden button on the wall revealing his hidden weapons display case across from his bedside. Only this one was larger and had twice as many weapons. But this time he opened a hidden keypad and started typing in a secret code.

"I'm putting in a code so you won't be able to get into my weapons." He informed me and closed the keypad along with his weapons.

"I guess you're mad I got into your things at your dad's mansion?" I asked frowning and worried.

"Why would I be mad at you?" He asked me sorta chuckling. Seeing my worry, he came my way and cupped my face. So I couldn't refuse to look at him. Just to avoid his eyes, I crossed them towards the bathroom. I was too scared to face him.

"Sally, look at me." He was patient with me and waited for me to listen. Slowly, I moved my eyes to meet his. Even though, I felt scared I remained calm but sorta panted. From not knowing what he was going to do.

Then he spoke sweetly. "I don't care if you're in my stuff. I am only locking my weapons because I don't want you in them. My weapons aren't for you to be handling. And the only other thing I asked that you not get into is my laptop without me allowing you. Otherwise, if you try there are protection locks on it but don't try breaking into the codes. You're welcome to go into my closet and touch my phone. My phone is set up to block certain things you do not need to be in." He kisses my forehead and slowly released me.

But before he has a chance to walk away, I asked. "Why do you have codes set up on your laptop and phone?"

Cory cleared things up. "Because it's safer for you. If an enemy gets a hold of you and you read certain information that they want. They could torment you for that information. If you don't know any information then they can't question you about it. The less you know the better off you are. Being my fiance and soon-to-be my wife. You will end up being a target if you're ever taken by them. Understand now?"

I nodded, "But you do know who put the old tracker in me?"

"I don't know but I am going to investigate it," Cory replied. "But I don't want you worrying about that. I'll take care of it. The thing I want you to do is only get better adjusted. As l said you're free to adventure. Just be careful outside there are more creatures around here. There are hidden springs that attract them to this area. They are dangerous so just be careful. Most of the time they go their own way but just be cautious."

I nodded to understand and asked. "Is Maria going to be staying here?"

"Yes, when she and John return home from visiting their family. Their room is down the hall. I'm sure she'll be here tomorrow. Said, Cory.
