Ch 227: Nick tried to Help

Nick went into the bathroom seeing Sally groaning painfully in the tub. JJ was just standing there watching her. Nick takes a seat on the jacuzzi's corner rim side. He touched Sally's neck and rubbed his fingers lightly up and down her neck bone.

JJ watched what he was doing and says, "it seems to be working."

"Yeah kinda figured," Nick smirked, peeking upward at him for a second. "I did have a wife once."

Overhearing Nick and JJ chuckling faintly. Cory came in staying in the doorway and found Nick massaging Sally's neck. He wasn't jealous since he trusted his friends.

Nick looked over at him saying, "when you're able to you should try this."

Cory sighs saying "I'm going to get a drink."

He walked outside on his balcony. After pouring himself a drink he took a seat back on his chair. He takes small sips trying to calm his wary mind. Since he felt terrible that he couldn't help Sally.

I open my eyes and realize it wasn't Cory messaging me. So I pushed Nick off my neck. Nick backed off of me not forcing it. I stood up and got out of the jacuzzi. But my legs were weak so I collapsed my bum on the towel that was laid out over the floor. I bent my knees up to my chin and held my legs up against my torso. My body was dripping wet which soaked the towel I was sitting on. Nick opened up the cabinet from underneath the sink and grabbed another towel. He put it over my body and took a seat on the floor next to me with some space between us.

"How's it going?" He asked me softly.

I tried not to roll my eyes since I knew he was trying to help me.

"I wish Cory had more than one wife. Then maybe I wouldn't have to suffer." I said in tremendous stress.

Nick frowned replying, "you don't want that. Kingdom men who do have more than one wife will lay with all of their wives. The one woman he has a bond with will still go into massive heat over the other women. If Cory could have multiple wives. You would be the one he'd only love but it would break you because you'd have to share him.

It hurts women to share one husband. Sadly, it doesn't affect him but it does affect the women. He will lay with all his wives during the Moon Phase. Even if it's unlikely for all his wives to get pregnant on the same moon phase. Regardless, it's still his goal. On any other ordinary day, his wives are to pleasure him. It's not a life you would want and luckily one you don't have to face. Cory loves you Sally one day you will love him too."

"It just sucks to be going through this," I spoke softly.

Nick sighs telling me advice, "just grow your relationship with him and stop fighting it."

"Will see," I mocked a half-smile.

Nick laughed lightly saying, "you only kissed him how many times now!"

I smiled, rolled my eyes, and said. "I'm going to blame that on the heat cycle."

Nick chortles. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that. We all see you're fond of him. Even if you don't want to marry him. We all know you're crushing on him."

I rolled my eyes and stood up walking out of the bathroom. I wasn't in the mood to urge this out. From the front of the bed, I crawled up and laid down. With the damp towel over my body. I just wanted to fall asleep from the suffering I was in.

Outside on the balcony, Cory saw her crawl onto the center of the bed to lay down. He put his glass back on the table stand next to Sally's glass of water. Then he walked off the balcony and went into his closet. Nick came out of the bathroom and went on the balcony with the rest of the guys. As Cory pulled out an extra blanket from the draw built into the wall. Then he came back out and pulled the damp towel off her body. He covered her body up with the blanket and then crawled beside her from her bedside and laid down next to her. From underneath the blanket he rubbed around her navel.

I felt Cory's soft touch and scooched closer to him to rest my head on his chest. All to hear his steady heartbeat. The rhythm of his heart rate was soothing me in relaxation. I moaned in pain but soon felt my eyes drifting into a heaviness.

Once JJ saw she had drifted off to sleep. He climbed on the bed from Cory's bedside and touched her temple.

"She seems stable," Jay said and then got off the bed leaving to be with everyone on the balcony.

Cory nodded comfortably on his pillow while holding Sally. She moaned in some pain while she slept.

After about fifteen minutes, he slid his body out from underneath her. Using the setting from his phone he dimmed the lights in the room. Then he walked out onto the balcony to be with his friends who were softly talking. He takes his seat back with Aaron next to the table stand between them. He picks up the glass swirling the bubble drink on his palm from inside it.

Aaron said, "hopefully, she stays asleep."

"That would be nice if she did," said Cory noddingly.

"I never thought I'd see her begging for you to kiss her," Jay said, çhuckling amused.

Nick chuckled and said, "it shows the bond is going in your favor, Cory."

"Yes it is," mumbled Cory. "Hopefully now her attitude will change."

"I'm sure it will," Mike said. "But you'll still need to be patient with her to love you."

"I have the patience for that. I am only running low on time for the wedding." Cory told and then took a sip of his drink.

Matt said, "take it one day at a time and just grow your relationship together."

"I will," Cory replied. "I'm just worried she'll hate me one day for lying to her."

Nick shares with him. "She won't as long as you do your part. She's going to end up loving you back. Don't let her go as I did with my ex-wife."

Cory sneered and his face turned colder. "She's not going anywhere. If she fights it, she's still not going anywhere. She is mine whether she wants to be or not." he said quite possessively.
