Secret Power

One of the officers questioned, "Is he dead? His two electric guns were reinserted into his pockets. Then he hurried to see how his teammates were doing. His friend was suddenly strangled by someone he didn't know, and he appeared shocked. "Do you feel okay, buddy? Come on, I'll help you stand up. It was very close."

Now, all they could do was stand still. They didn't know why Reynard was immune to electric shocks. There was enough high voltage to kill someone. Reynard didn't seem to be conscious, yet he appeared to be breathing anyway. The policeman Reynard had attacked answered, "Let him pass out or he'll trouble us again."

One of them stepped forward. He twisted Reynard's body so he could see his face well. Reynard's face was immediately recognized by the police as a wanted person. His name is among the city's top ten most wanted list. The reputation of Reynard and his crew as violent robbers precedes them.

"Do you recognize him? He's Reynard West. This information must be shared with the entire Inspector team." The officer immediately turned on the small radio he was carrying and informed everyone of their discovery. "Reynard West was recently located along the port in an alley. A prisoner car and an ambulance are required."

Another officer said, "Let's bring him to our car in the meanwhile." "Great idea." Reynard's body was taken by the two cops to the car. They were still perplexed as to how this young man could possess such incredible strength. It appears that they are dealing with superhumans. However, after only a short distance, something unexpected occurred.

Reynard's eyes suddenly began to open. Her face now showed significant transformation. He appeared to have a hidden power inside of him that was possessing him. He cast right and left glances. His body was now being supported by two police officers. He had to get rid of both of them right away.

Reynard took an unexpected action. His body took several steps backwards until his body was released from the hands of the police. He then struck them both with a quick movement. The police fell to the ground right away. As soon as there was an opportunity, Reynard sprinted into a little alley. He ran as fast as he could to avoid being pursued by the police.

One of the officers turned on his radio once again while in agony. This time, he would request assistance. "Reynard West just escaped. Bring the entire crew into town. He is still around the port. Inform Inspector Fredrin of the situation and request that he also send an air crew back up."

The two officers ran back to their car. Next, they took the car to the port. One of the port's storage sheds should be accessible through the road. They have to get there first before their prisoner escapes any farther. Numerous police squads were sent to encircle the port. Soon later, two helicopters were also spotted flying above the port.

Meanwhile, Reynard took the quickest route to reach the port. He was aware that the cops were pursuing him. Until he eventually came to a dead end. His steps came to a stop when he noticed an iron gate in front of him. "Oh, goddammit. Why must it lead nowhere?" Reynard muttered angrily.

There wasn't much he could do. He made the decision to use his claws to scale the iron gate. Reynard continued to run after that until he arrived at a building by the harbor's edge. The building is a logistics storage warehouse for port operations. There were several items kept there, including multiple freight trucks. Reynard chose to hide there.

The whole city's police force quickly surrounded the port in a couple of minutes. They searched every possible hiding place for Reynard, the wanted man. Until they reached the warehouse at the end of the port where Reynard was hiding.

"Come out! Before we force you to come out!"

A police officer with a megaphone was the one who spoke. The most stunning police officer is standing next to him. He stood there staring at the building. Why would an important wanted man choose a place like this as a hideout. There, he would not be at all secure. Inspector Fredrin held this opinion.

The inspector questioned, "Are you sure our criminal is hiding there?"

"Only this location hasn't been checked yet, sir. We will confirm this building as the last one. If, as previously reported, our wanted man is in the port, he must now be trapped there." The policeman with the megaphone spoke. For a brief period, Inspector Fredrin was silent.

Police officers started to enter the warehouse. They checked every inch and hidden corner of the warehouse. They begin to notice other people's movements, only that their movements are as fast as the wind. To keep an eye on the situation, they are constantly on alert. Reynard was being cornered in the meantime. He was at a loss as to his options. He made the decision to kidnap the cops one by one in order to stop them. The cops were even more certain that their wanted man was in the area when they realized that their friend was beginning to lose consciousness.

"Clear!" exclaimed the policeman. It indicated that they did not find anyone else in the warehouse. The inspector, however, was certain that Reynard was still present. Also, he urged everyone to show more carefull.

"Don't let him escape! Do a thorough search of the entire building without leaving anyone behind. Come to the roof with me, you two," the inspector was ordered. He designated two police officers to go with him while he examined the building's roof. They unlocked the roof entrance after slowly ascending the stairs. How shocked they were to see a man standing on the building's edge. In silence and thought, he raised his gaze to the sky.

"Hands up! You're surrounded, there's no way out for you, Reynard!" said the inspector pointing his gun at the young man. Reynard really wanted to fight the police. But now the power is completely exhausted. The werewolf power that he has has drained the energy in his body.

"Don't... don't faint again," Reynard whispered. Not long after that his body even fell from the roof of the building due to exhaustion.
