Seeing as both parties were about to reach the climax of the battle. I now had to prepare myself for one hell of a beating.
Since I had cursed myself with this majestically divine plan, which could do no wrong, and for which I had to get hurt, I mean a lot, at its conclusion.
As, otherwise, the orcs won't get to taste what absolute despair tastes like.
I sighed inside as I regretted every decision I had made to lead me to this point in time.
The orcs were still charging towards me, though they were a heck of a lot closer than before.
They all had bloodshot eyes and an aura of violence, wrath, and hatred, but, most importantly, they had their sense of hope, unity, and morale skyrocket to obscene levels.
Seeing that made the whole process of me getting my ass handed to me a lot easier. After all, because of it, I could imagine just how their faces would be like once I started.
'Here goes nothing.' I then slowly started to walk towards the army of rabid orc -- all of whom wanted to bathe in my blood.
I used a face that one would make when there were no options left.
Well, basically, I just wanted to look like a suicide bomber who wasn't too fond of suicide bombing.
The orcs seeing that, again, had all their morale skyrocket. That had surprised no one, and if it had surprised you, I would've kindly asked you to seek some mental help.
After all, you had a mild case, of what I liked calling, literally retarded.
The orcs finally reached me -- well, actually, they were still 2 meters away from me. They released a bloodcurdling battle cry of absolute bloodlust and violence as they all attacked me with their weapons.
Their attacks were all very powerful, I mean, they were really powerful. After all, previously their attacks would be like getting hit by a world-class athlete from the non-modified division, while, currently, their attacks would be like getting hit by an athlete from the class-1 modified division.
I wasn't surprised to see it; it was quite common in my previous world, as well. After all, I had seen some guy kill 10 people barehanded just because the guy had become too emotional.
True, at that time, those people were high on some next-level drugs, but still, considering that there was freaking magic in this world and everyone had it -- not like those enhancements that would cost you an arm and a leg, literally -- it wasn't.
Sadly, the orcs, being two times stronger didn't mean anything if they couldn't hit anything.
And it was at that moment I knew I messed up.
I had to get hit, and not just once or twice, but probably like ten times.
Normally, I would've probably just lost around 20% of my hp. But, after the two times power increase, I would probably lose 60%.
The reason it was more than twice is that, being two times more power meant that it would be a lot harder to dodge those attacks like "normal" and redirect them.
Both of them, especially the latter part, made me suffer more than twice the damage.
I knew that because of Mir Grand and the fact that this was a real world. Since that game had some semblance of reality in it, as there were many moments where just having higher stats than someone didn't mean that you were stronger -- unless you were higher-leveled, but that was a whole another topic entirely.
So, with a burning determination and masochistic intent, I prepared myself for an ass-beating.
And while I was thinking that, the attacks finally started reaching me.
The first wave of attacks was from the faster units from the light-hitters.
It was something I had already expected as it was quite obvious.
I then gulped down as I gave a terrified look to the rabid orcs with bloodshot eyes, who had made an attempt on my life.
And with precision that would make anyone looking like a toddler with down syndrome, I "dodged" the attacks as I only let some of them in.
'Shit!' I thought to myself as I felt the "small attack" which I had let in tear through my "hard scale" and through my flesh like a hot knife through butter. It had, again, made me realize just how squishy of a body I, currently, had -- which wasn't that surprising, as I was still a freaking baby.
And just like I had expected; the attacks being two times stronger made it a lot harder to properly dodge the attack, and not only that but diverting the energy was also a lot harder than before -- if I had to guess, I would say that it was 4 times harder, way beyond my expectation.
Thankfully, it wasn't enough to scare me. No, you could even say that it had made me much more alerted -- which had made me quite happy.
And just like that, I could feel a grin forming on my face -- which I had quickly overpowered with Sin's questionable repertoire of faces.
My blood started boiling as it rushed through my veins at breakneck speed, my adrenaline started pumping throughout my body at record time, and, most importantly, my brain and body were kicked into maximum overdrive. I pushed past limits I hadn't even thought I could push past. I felt dopamine getting released in my brain as I felt a creeping feeling of death. It was riveting, it was amazing, it was overwhelming, it was blood-tingling, it was shivering… it was ELECTRIFYING!!!
Another attack came at me from my side; well, it would be better to call it my blind-spot -- it actually wasn't. And with great effort in quelling my sadistic urges, I, again, 'dodged' the attack.
My brain and my body were both working ways harder than normal -- it was on a level that had surprised even me. That was a lot coming from the guy who could change all his senses with only his will. But I didn't dwell too much on the topic, as it probably had something to do with my draconic heritage and just how messed up a dragon 'I' was.
The attacks were now a little easier to dodge and diverting the energy wasn't that hard -- it was still very hard. It was to be expected as the increase I had gained would probably be in the middle of 20-30%. It was nothing close to the 200% power increase of the orcs.
Though, I still had one advantage over them. It was that the 200% increase only applied to their attacks, while my 20-30% applied to all my attributes. Sadly, if we were equal they would have still won, as, in combat, being specialized was way better than being an all-rounder, in most situations.
Though, that wouldn't happen as I was already leagues above them -- after all, I was maybe 4-6 times stronger than them -- maybe even more.
And just like that, I dodged all their attacks for the last 20 or so minutes.
'Wow! I'm actually getting tired!' even though most people would've thought it to be a bad thing to get tired when in the middle of a battle -- where you could die in a single hit, I was actually very happy.
After getting my Soul skills, the chance of me getting tired was astronomically low.
Since unless I waste more than 25% of my stamina in a single minute I would never get tired. Which was way harder than it seemed. It was all due to Soul Empowerment's broken set of reductions -- and also increases -- and the reduced stamina consumption I got from Ultra Instincts.
And not only that, since I had already given up on the orcs, I hadn't even imagined that they, THEY, could've actually made me feel tired.
But I didn't think about it too much, as I had to focus on my own plans.
After all, currently, I looked pretty beat up. I mean very beat up.
Even with red scales, anyone could see that I was really injured. I had many cuts on me, with some of them clearly bisecting me -- there were four of those cuts, one of them I had gotten from that leader orc after I'm-McDisabled.
Though in reality, I wasn't.Though I was still technically injured as I only had 50% of my hp left, even then, I was still way healthier than I looked, especially since I had done a great act in hiding that fact.
I was a little sad for these orcs as they all had morale so high-up, it would've probably reached the stars and pierced the heavens. They all had hope in their eyes, tears filling them for their lost brothers and the revenge they were about to take. All their sacrifices, all their pain, all their losses, it was all about to end in this single moment. The instant one of them would sink their weapon in me, they would've ended me, a being so vile in nature that even monsters would think of it as a monster. A being who they had hated and despised so much.
I was a little sad. But even more than that, I was excited. Just imagining how they would be in some mere seconds made my heart be filled with flowers and love. It made my chest hotter and aroused.
The level of arousal I felt had trumped everything I had felt in the past. In my objective opinion, it was something so great in magnitude that it would've turned anyone into a sexually depraved wild beast. A beast whose pure purpose in life was to find sexual pleasure and gratification.
So, you bet your ass I was fucking aroused, if it wasn't already obvious enough.
"Brothers, let me end the beast!" an orc said with a voice filled with absolute kindness, wrath, and fury.
It was quite obvious to see who the orc was, it was the leader orc.
'Well, it seems everything is going to my expectations' I was happy as I had already guessed that he was the one that would try to kill me.
I then hid my smile as I prepared for the end of this small little village.

I'm doing some 'research' to see which books I could ri- I mean take 'inspiration' from. By the way, did you know that I was going to put the 20 minute fight scene in its entirety, but I didn't, as who would want to read, no, just write a guy saying dodge that, dodge this, dodge that, make some faces, get knocked back a ton, make another face.
Plus, I didn't want to change the POV, so, in the next chapter you'll experience the battle from the POV of an orc. I did that because I wanted to mil- I meant give you a new perspective, I totally wasn't trying to milk the word count.
PS: If you want to see my upload faster, send me some comments, I don't mind if they're hate. That'll give me more motivation to upload, as it took me 3 days to write this chapter because I wasn't motivated enough!
