Living Doll of MHA

A child is born into the world of MHA. She is not born in Japan but is instead born in England. Her Quirk? It is still yet to be determined but from her birth, she has the appearance of a baby toy doll. Will she be a hero? Will she become a villain? Or will her path be one that is her own that is outside of those two choices? (Short release of a chapter or couple of them, unlike my other projects that have been continued.. do not expect regular updates!) Carnival

The location that Tiffany was brought to was a large piece of land that had a large tent in the middle or it.

It seemed to be a piece of land that was used to host big events and the tent that had been set up on it was just the most recent thing that had been set up there.

There were various cages, straw and other things around the large tent while there were other smaller tents and caravans that were spaced out in different locations.

It seemed like the people involved with the family were often on the move and lived out of their caravans or cars.

Each person that passed by had a slightly rough looking appearance like they did not care much about looking neat and clean in front of others.

They had more of an unrestrained temperament and they used more vulgar language or expressions when they interacted with each other.

The loud and scary environment had caused the small child that was Tiffany to timidly lower her head to avoid their gazes.

The new mother of her had squeezed her hand and said. "You need to get used to this place quickly. We are all family here and everyone has a part to play."

The carnival was a place where everyone travelled from each destination to a new one to perform together.

They had to be as close to being a family to be able to stand such a long time together where they would perform, travel and live among each other for so long.

The father had returned after running an errand then discussed with the mother. "Where do you think she would be most suitable? You always did have a better eye than me for spotting talents."

The woman gazed towards Tiffany for a moment with a calculating gaze before turning back to him. "We have yet to see what the child is capable of so stick her with the others like her so that she can earn her keep here."

Once they had already arrived at the carnival after adopting Tiffany, the kindness that had been shown in the beginning had lessened.

They changed their way of treatment towards her and had even openly discussed how they would make use of her right in front of her face.

They did not care too much since a three year old child would not be able to understand everything they were talking about.

The woman had continued. "The director did give us the information about her Quirk so unless she suddenly shows some other uses for it, it would be best to put her among that group until she starts to show any other talents."

Each show had different performances that required greater practice or powers to be able to perform them in front of a large crowd.

There were other side shows that were spread out but they would be much smaller attractions that required less abilities.

The bigger attractions were typical carnival tricks and events that people did to entertain a larger crowd that were juggling, dealing with trained animals, acrobatics, juggling, clown performances and driving motorbikes on ramps or a course.

Each of them required a lot of practice and repetition to be able to perform feats that would dazzle the audience and keep them interested without any accidents happening in between the shows.

When Quirks were pulled into the shows, they helped to increase the popularity of the shows and they mixed well with different kinds of performances.

Even if Quirks were only available to use by heroes in public, there were certain abilities that were a part of their natural everyday lives so they could make use of those advantages to put on a show for the crowd.

If the carnival had gained a skilled Quirk user that could manipulate an element or material to make shapes or other effects on stage, they would not be able to show them off unless they had a hero license.

It was the cruel reality of Quirks and how many people could not benefit from their own Quirks unless they became a hero or chose the path of a villain.

Once Tiffany was led away from them towards another smaller tent that had a large sign stood up outside.

The sign had 'The House of Horrors' written on it while there was a painting on it that featured a person screaming.

The innocent Tiffany was led inside where she was met with many different people ranging from her own age to much older.

Her eyes widened a little to show her surprise and how startled she was by their appearances then hid behind her new mother.

Her mother had knelt down to her level and coaxed her. "Good child, do not be scared. These are your brothers and sisters that you will be living, eating and working with from now on."

She turned her gaze towards the others and coldly said. "Get her up to speed on how things run here."

"Yes mama!"

"Ma'am!"

"Yes big mother!"

The woman had shown a complacent smile before leaving Tiffany to her new environment.

A large fat man that was dressed like a baby had walked forward first then looked over her. "Follow me kid."

There were some that looked like ordinary humans among them and the large man was among them but a larger population of them were heteromorphs or mutant Quirk users.

Among them were the type of Quirk users that would be most rejected for their overall appearance.

If they did not possess certain attributes to make them stand out among the rest and a more appealing appearance then they would not be able to escape from their current tasks.

Someone could possess great speed, power, balance or endurance but it would be useless when they were not suitable for appearing before a large crowd.

Each of them were just a group that would be stuck in a smaller part of the carnival where people would visit for the thrill of seeing something scary or weird looking.

The house of horrors was just another way to name what it actually was and it was actually a showing of freaks or those that had more unpleasant talents than others that were not fit for the average audience.

The sole purpose of their lives was to be as scary or as disgusting as possible so that the audience would find their small show thrilling, scary, revolting or other shocking emotions.

There were some parts that were reserved only for the eyes of some adults due to them not being suitable for children while others would be showing during the earlier hours of the day for the times that everyone had access to the area.

If there was any among them that stood out then it was two that had the Toad and a British Bulldog mutant Quirks.

The Toad was already in their late teens and was male while the Bulldog was a couple of years older than Tiffany.

The man that was dressed as a baby had been the one to speak up as he explained things. "We all have a part to play here and all we do is a part of our act. So long as you can entertain the audience, you will be able to live well and eat well. Kid, answer me. You can speak correct?"

The small girl had suddenly opened her mouth as a slight north east geordie dialect and accent came out of her mouth for a moment. "Aye.."

The man raised a brow to her and sighed. "What can you do?"

Tiffany showed some hesitation before raising her head to look up, her head started to turn around all of a sudden.

The scene was very scary to those watching as there was no pause in the movements, once the head had turned halfway around, it continued until it had went back into its original position.

The man dressed in baby clothing had stood with his mouth wide open for a moment then finally came to his senses. "Ahem.. that is enough. How freaky. Okay, I can give you a slot to perform if you can do that every time."

It was something that she was used to doing due to her usual treatment at the orphanage and it often made the other children entertained or scared enough to no longer wish to lay their hands on her like she was one of their toys.

It was the only thing that she felt would be considered as some form of entertainment for others and fit what had been asked of her but it was enough to earn her a place right away.

Once the baby man had left her to deal with her schedule and the training before she started appearing, the other mutants had started to approach to greet her.

"That was so freaky kid."

"It is not easy to impress him but you were accepted right away."

"Good job!"

"What is your name?"

Tiffany timidly answered. "Tiffany."

"What is your Quirk?"

She answered again. "Doll."

There was not a specific name for her Quirk so the director and others had referred to her quirk as being a doll, puppet or mannequin type of Quirk so she could only give a vague answer to their questions.

More questions came from many others as they all started to get more acquainted with her and then she would soon settle into her new environment and her new role.
