A man from earth gets a chance to go to heaven Or fight monsters. Of course he picks the option to fight monsters.
"Oh come on!"
Standing at the entrance of her school's football field, Allyson was trying to get her phone to work, a bunch of dried cheese chunks were stuck in the charger port which stopped the phone from working. She was was very unhappy at coming to this stupid Halloween party with her boyfriend, Cameron.
He was talking to another girl right in front of her and was clearly trying to make advances on her. And he was the one that dropped her phone in the snack bowl which got all this cheese stuck in her phone!
And speak of the devil, he jogged right over to her. He was holding his costumes wig in hand and was clearly drunk off of something. He took a druken glance at her phone.
"Just put it in a bag of rice. It'll be fine."
"I leave you alone for literally two minutes and you run to make moves on another girl right in front of me!"
"Listen. I had too much gin. I told you. Kim was talking to me. She came on to me. I'm trying to be respectful that she still has feelings. I'm sorry. She already has eating issues and I don't want to make it worse. What was I supposed to do?"
Allyson ignored him as she looked at her now broken phone.
"It's ruined. All the cheese is stopping it from turning on."
"Good! Now we actually have to blab to each other. Seriously. Let's have some fun. Please. If we don't this is a completely degrading experience. I'm serious."
Cameron looked at her, heartbroken and frustrated at her comments. He tried to lean in for a kiss to salvage the mood, but before he could a spotlight shines on them.
2 police patrol cars pulled up in front of the football field. 4 got of the cars and pulled out flashlights, approaching Cameron and Allyson. 2 of the 4 officers started to talk to them.
"You guys gotta clear out of here. Party's over! Gotta clear out!"
"Curfew has been put into place. It's not safe! You guys need a ride home?"
Both Allyson and Cameron were confused, Allyson even asking what was even wrong.
"What's happening? Why aren't we safe? Why do we need to go?"
"Because I fuckin' said so. It's not safe to be on the streets. We need you to get home. Now."
The cop wasn't having it and tried to usher the 2 of them out. But before he could, Cameron slapped the cops hand away from his shoulder.
"No we weren't. Dude. We're in the middle of a fight and we were at the point of a breakthrough when you shined that goddamn flashlight in my face! Why you gotta be dicks!"
"Cameron!"
All of the cops looked at each other with unamused faces before starting to engage.
"You okay ma'am?"
1 cop moved his body in front of Allyson, seperating her from Cameron
"Who's your smart ass friend? Come here!"
The other officers started laughing at their fellows comment. Camerons faced darkened significantly when he heard that. He started to get mad.
"Go fuck yourself."
"What did you say?"
"You say anything about me again and I'll-"
Cameron was about to walk closer to the officer but was stopped by the officer.
"I know exactly what you'll do. Assault a police officer. You'll sit on the roof of your garage and throw rotten eggs at me like you did last time."
Cameron sneered at the officer. He didn't have a single care about that.
"I was ten years old and made you look like a bitch in front of your entire department."
Before he could react, the offcier grabbed Cameron and slammed him to the ground. A large group of people started to gather around the football field entrance, including Camerons friend Oscar.
"Cameron? What's up dude? Are you being misunderstood again. This is a heartbreaking case of mistaken identity Your Honor."
The officer pinning Cameron on the ground turned to Oscar and gave him a cold sneer.
"Who's the little bitch now?"
"Oscar! Get her home safe, man."
The other officers started to yell at the crowd of high-schoolers to clear out the area and go home. Oscar walked up to Allyson as they both walked past the bleachers to leave.
POV change:
Opening her door, Karen was greeted of the sight of her mom.
"Mom! Do we have to do this-"
Before she could continue, Karen noticed the 4 police officers behind her mom. Alongside a strange asian teen, dressed in a expensive suit. That confused her more then anything as she knew her mom would never associate herself with really anyone, especially teenagers. Before she could continue her thinking, her mom walked inside.
"I never wanted you to be scared, baby. Never. Just prepared."
Her mom hekd her hand tightly.
"Where's Allyson?"
Karen could only give her mom a concered glance.
"Where's Allyson?!"
Karen quickly got out her phone and dialed her daughters number.
"Allyson, you need to call me the second you get this. The police said the dance was evacuated and I haven't heard from you. We're heading to your Grandmother's house. We're worried about you."
She handed her mom her phone to speak.
"Where are you, baby? There are police officers at your house. Get to them and they'll bring you to us. We're all together now. We love you..."
They finished talking into the phone before sitting down on her couch. Her mom had her face in her hands. She was no better, a cold sweat was dripping down her face.
The strange teen sat down in front of the couch in front of them.
"Hi there Ms. Nelson, my name is August."
A kind smile was plastered on his face
"Uh...hi there?"
He unnerved her. How could anyone be this calm, in fact how could a teen no older then her daughter be this calm!
"Uh...may I ask why you are with my mom?"
"Well I'm helping her our with something."
"What is this 'something' then?"
"Oh that's really simple."
He leaned back on the couch and crossed his legs.
"To kill Micheal Myers."
POV change:
Oscar and Allyson walked down a sidewalk, Oscar holding a beer case in his hands.
"This is an amazing night, right?! Don't you just love Cameron?"
"No. I think he's a jerk."
"He's cool. So bad ass. But I can tell you're pissed about your phone. He plopped it into the chili con queso."
"I'm tired of people letting me down. You give them the benefit of the doubt and think they're going to be different, but then they show you who they truly are. Cameron doesn't want people to judge him, but then he acts like a jerk. Gets drunk, gets arrested."
Stopping in his tracks, Oscar couldn't help but feel bad. His friend was treating his absolute model of a girlfriend like shit and chasing other girls right in front of her. Even for Cameron this was a new low.
"You deserve better. You're the smartest, most beautiful girl at school. Anyone that doesn't appreciate that is crazy."
"Thanks Oscar, that's sweet."
Police sirens started ringing behind them.
"Check it out. 5.0. Let's detour this rendezvous."
Cutting through houses, Oscar jumped over a black iron fence into a backyard. He awkwardly handled his beer, setting it down as he looked around. Using the moonlight to guide him, Oscar was able to make out the fence way at the opposite end. He turned around, seeinf Allyson struggling to get over the fence.
"Watch out for the poison ivy. It's all over."
"This is a dumb shortcut."
"Treacherous. Let me give you a hand."
Reaching up to help her, Oscar was able to save Allyson from falling in the nick of time.
"Thanks."
But Oscar didn't let go of Allyson in his arms, instead giving her a grin.
"What? What are you doing?"
"You deserve better."
He awkwardly leaned in to kiss her on the lips.
It didn't work.
"Ew. Oscar. What the fuck?!"
She pushed him off of her, making Oscar sober up and realize what he just did.
"Wait, I thought you said you weren't with Cameron anymore."
"Doesn't mean I want- Get away from me."
"I thought you were sending me signals."
"Definitely no signals. Just go!"
Allyson walked off into the darkness, with Oscar following her desperately.
"I'm sorry. Please don't tell Cameron I did that. I didn't feel anything either."
She stopped her pace and turned to him, a disgusted look was on her face.
"You're disgusting. I'm going home. You need to figure your shit out."
She walked away, turing on a motion sensor light and leaving Oscar alone.
"I'm drunk. Like... really drunk, and I got all horny at the party. I was dancing with some girl, this way out of my league girl, and my brain got all sexed up, and her tits got me totally chubbed out when she was feeding me guacamole in sexy ways--"
In his self pity, Oscar dropped on of the beers on accident, causing it to spray everywhere.
"SHIT!"
All the cans started to fall from his grasp, rolling away as he tried to pick them up. He looked up and saw a man standing a good 20 feet away from him,
"Happy Halloween, Mr. Elrod. Cool mask. Sorry... I'm not trying to trespass on your shit, I was just talking to this pretty girl over there. It's just... I guess, I always kind of liked her. And I know she's bummed out about Cameron so I thought maybe... Stupid, right?"
The man only stood in place, giving no reaction to Oscar.
"Well...all right. Peace. Thank you."
The motion sensor light suddenly went out unexpectedly, leaving in Oscar in darkness.
On the other side of the yard, Allyson made it to a 6 foot black iron fence and started to climb it. She grabbed one of the sharp metal spikes that jut from the top and pulled her hand. It was slightly precarious but she was careful to avoid the iron spikes as she climbed over. She dropped to the other side of the fence and walks down an alley disappointed.
Back to the other side of the yard, the motion sensor lights came back on.
Oscar looked around to find his neighbor, but he was greeted with a empty yard.
"Yo! Where'd you go, bro? You're acting super sketchy right now."
Confused, Oscar looked over his shoulder as he walked again to cross the yard. Without paying attention, he ran into something hard. Looking up he saw something that shook him to his core.
Micheal Myers raised his knife as Oscar dropped his beers, putting his arms up.
The lights suddenly turned off, followed by horrific screams.
These screams didn't go unheard. Allyson heard them while she walked down the street, making her run back to see what happened. But she wasn't fast enough to see what was about to happen.
The lights turned back on, Oscar rans as fast as he can as he held his bleeding forearm. Micheal Myers was slowly walking behind him. Oscar was able to get to the fence and leaped for the top bar. He was able to get halfway over but the spikes snaged his cape.
Micheal appeared right behind Oscar as he stabbed his back, causing him to scream loudly. He struggled to hang on to the bars of the fence. The lights went out again, as a sickening stabbing noise was heard, alongside the sound of soemthing spewing out liquid.
Allyson was finally able to make it to where she heard the screams.
"AARON: Oscar?!! Oscar?!"
The complete darkness was hampering her vision so she couldn't see anything.
The lights turned back on as Allyson saw a horrifing sight.
It was Oscar.
His face was pierced from the chin through his mouth by one of the iron spikes at the top of the fence. He was choking and gaging, gargling his own blood.
Allyson started to hyperventilate and turned her head to see the yard. For a split second, she saw Micheal standing on her side of the fence, his knife raised up to stab her.
The lights went out again, making Allyson run away screaming for her life.
She ran faster than she'd ever run before... Out of the darkness into the open neighborhood.
She ran until she stopped at a house that has a light on inside. She ran up to the porch and pounded her fists desperately on the door.
"Help me!! Open the door!""
Another light switches on in a window.
"Please open the door!"
