The four sergeants split into two teams. One team used long-range attacks whereas the other team rushed towards Aeon to engage in close combat.

Among the four attacks, Aeon was able to dodge only one and as for the remaining three, they were blocked by the [Pendant of Protection].

When he dodged the attack, Aeon managed to find a gap in the Quaggoth Sergeant's defence and used his both Goblinbone Daggers to pierce through its body.

However, when the daggers touched the body, a metallic sound came from the body.

In short, Aeon's attack was not able to make a single dent in the Quaggoth Sergeant's body much less than piercing through it.

Also, their target was not only Aeon but the flying Grimoire of Life and Death.

Other than dodging and trying to counterattack the Quaggoth Sergeant, Aeon used the [Assessment Page] to get the information on two Quaggoth Sergeants who were attacking him a close range.

'So, that's the reason why I was not even able to make a dent.'

Aeon understood the reason why he was unable to pierce through the defence of the Quaggoth Sergeant.

'I think I have done enough for today. It is time to escape.'

Even though there were still two more protections left for the day from the pendant, Aeon didn't want to engage in a fight with the Quaggoth Sergeants.

Aeon's chances of killing a Quaggoth Sergeant were already minimal and now, these Quaggoth Sergeants were blessed by Quaggoth Queen's protection.

Hence, Aeon didn't hesitate to think about escaping because five Blessed Quaggoth Sergeants were not something Aeon could handle.

The leader of the Quaggoth Sergeants scoffed at Aeon when he realized that Aeon was planning to escape.

Aeon ran towards the leader of the Quaggoth Sergeants and thanks to the huge boost in his [Fighting Spirit], he was not afraid of failing in his crazy plan.

As the leader of the Quaggoth Sergeants, how could it be scared of a human who has only reached level 5 Life Blood Soldier Realm?

It thought Aeon had given up on his life when it saw it was running towards him.

The leader of the Quagoth Sergeants no longer held himself back as he said, "I will personally kill chop your limbs and wrap you in my silk because killing you…Come"

Because of these words, the remaining Quaggoth Sergeants and the Quaggoth Servant didn't attack Aeon, making things much easier for Aeon to execute his plan.

Aeon's confidence increased even more when he saw no other Quaggoth Servant or Sergeant attacking him.

"Really? Do you swear on your ugly queen?"

Aeon didn't waste an opportunity till the very end as he flew into the air when he was close to the Leader of the Quaggot Sergeants.

Hearing Aeon's final words, the leader of the Quaggot Sergeants lost his control completely and the only thought left in his head was to kill the human in front of it.
