Chapter 245, Karin's Plan

"Whaaaa!" A loud thud came as the Ancients teleported along with the Braves into the Dimensional Planes.

"Everyone you're alright!!" Leon cried as he hugged Theo and the others.

"Ugh... Where are we?" Theo asked.

"The Dimensional Planes." Ragel answered.

"Ah! Who are you!!" Theo asked holding his trident, still wary but less defensive.

"Well, to put it simply... We're what the Chimeras were before they were corrupted." Isca smiled.

"Then how are you here, and why did you save save?" Ophelia asked.

"Arata's power gave us the strength to materialize again. And you opened the door to allow us to cross to the material world once more." Allie answered.

"No need to be so wary. We won't harm you." Leno stated. "Besides, we have a bigger problem to deal with."

"What kind of problem." Leon asked.

"Leon... Are you sure we can trust them?" Lucas asked a bit hesitant.

"I know what guys think but... They saved you, and that's enough reason for me to trust them." Leon answered.

"I suppose so..." Adelé answered and suddenly Baran moved towards the Sealing Slate.

"It looks like we can return to Earth using the gates here." He states. "But... We need to hurry, Arata will need our help."

"We'll go get Astrologia and Allen, you return to Earth first." Chronologia smiles. "Now hurry, Sir Arata will need you."

"We don't have much time to waste, let's hurry." Theo says but Leon shakes his head. "Leon?"

"You guys go ahead, I need to do something first." He says and the others ask what. "Don't worry, I'll catch up. Now go!"

"Okay, be careful." Theo nods and they enter the door while Chronologia and the other Guardians go and get Astrologia. Leon turns to the gate and with his key opens a portal.

"I hope this works." Leon says and enters the portal.

"Shadows!" Karin attacks Arata with her Shadows.

"Petals." Arata summons his Petals and they block Karin's attack.

"Pierce the darkness, White Edge!" A blade of light flies towards Karin and she dodges it.

"Who dares!!!" She shrieked.

On the ground, Van, Saint and Lyzander have docked the Asterion on the island and are attacking Karin from the ground.

"How dare you!!" She screeched and shot Shadows at the three.

"Warden, Reflect!" Ethan's shield blocks Karin's shadows.

"Purge! Spear of Purification!" Reinhardt throws his spear and it grazes Karin's side.

"How dare you!!" Karin screamed and flew up, then she flew straight into the city, the Braves losing sight of her.

"Tch. She got away." Liam says as he gripped his spear.

"Everyone keep you eyes peeled. We're going to proceed into the city." Arata stated and they nodded.

They form a circle around Arata, guarding him as he walked into the city. Arata seems to recognize all the paths, the streets, the alleys, everything seems so familiar to him. So much so that even Felicia points it out.

"Arata, you seem to be more familiar with the streets than before..." She says.

"I'm not sure either, but everything just seems so familiar." Arata answered.

Arata could somehow recognize everything, as if he had been there before. He did map out the island during their reconnaissance but for some reason he feels like it's too familiar now. And, as he walks the paths and gets closer to the city center, he hears a voice. It's a faint voice, and it seems to be calling him, to the heart of the Sidus Pontem.

"Arata, this is strange, there's no sign of Karin or the War Hammers any where." Alexis poined out.

"The War Hammers are asleep... They've fallen into a deep sleep." Arata stated. "Because the barrier has been removed."

As they walked deeper into the city, the storm above them begins to pick up. It grows wilder and wlder, eventually striking the areas around them. One even comes straight towards them.

"Be silenced, thunder of traitors." Arata speaks and the lightning about to strike them disappears.

"Arata?" Alistar calls his voice but Arata doesn't reply, this is when they know something is wrong.

"Arata!! Answer us!" Can shakes him but that's when they see that Arata's eyes have an eerie glow to them.

"Felicia, this isn't normal..." Velti states. "Something is inside Arata, and whatever it is, it's calling him to the heart."

"I know but... Even my power cannot bring his consciousness back. Whatever it is that's calling him, it's a power far greater than ours."

"Then, what are we supposed to do?" Will asked as he tightened his grip in his gun.

"We can only... let nature take it's course and follow Arata. His destination is still the same." Gunilla stated. "Let's get him to the heart of the Sidus Pontem."

With a united decision, they guard Arata, guiding him the city center. But, as they approached the very heart of the city, Karinwas hovering above them. She helped out the Gems of Sin that were in her possession, ready to attack them with it when she shows images. The Braves fighting across the world as they are attacked by Karin's Shadows and the vicious thunder storm.

"Tch. Do you think you'll get away with this?!" Andrew roared as he held his scythe.

"Ahahaha! Why not, there's no one who can stop me. And, thanks to them, I've gained a new power." Karin laughed.

"Them? New power? What are you talking about?" Zhen asked as he held his knife at Karin's direction.

"The Shadows told me, that there's a power than can only be mine and mine alone!" Karin laughed. "With the power of this storm, I will return the Harbinger of Catastrophe to this land and with their help, I will rule a world that's just for me!!"

"Return the Harbingers of Catastrophe to this land?! Are you crazy?!" Felicia exclaimed. "That will only bring ruin upon the worlds!!"

"I will use their power to reshape this world into my own!!" Karin answered hysterically. "Now! The time has come!! Descend my warriors!!"

Karin laughed as the storm around them grew stronger and stronger, the lightning striking the surrounding areas more frequently.

"We must stop her, if she succeeds it may lead to the destruction of the worlds." Sidwell stated.
