Desperation and Oblivion
The last text message that Lady sent was almost an hour ago.
Her phone can no longer be reached at this point, which either means she's at an area with low reception or her battery has completely died out. They continued with their attempts to contact her nonetheless, but eventually, they resorted to a more manual method to track her location. Her current whereabouts shouldn't be that far, considering that school has just finished.
"She told me earlier when she called that she kept trying to get in touch with Sarah, so I strongly believe that her phone has all the information that we need to figure out where she is…" Weiss muttered, expression ponderous.
"The problem is, Sarah doesn't have her phone with her when she arrived with Xavier."
"She must have dropped it somewhere along the way. Couldn't blame her, though. It would be the least of my concerns if I was in her situation…" Fallon replied before letting out a frustrated sigh.
