Titans move slowly, so as long as you don't get too close, you should be fine.
That is, unless you encounter an abnormal titan whose actions are unpredictable—they don't follow the usual rules.
Take that crawling monster on the ground, for instance. Not only is it incredibly fast, but it also has an astonishing ability to leap.
With just a moment of inattention, the unlucky newcomer got her grappling hook line caught.
"Help me, help me!" The young girl crashed heavily onto the rooftop. Normally, she would have been sent straight to the ICU, but she somehow managed to get up as if nothing had happened.
However, she was so nervous that she couldn't undo the gear around her waist, and the abnormal titan had already leapt onto the roof.
"Sob... Someone, please help me."
She swung her blade blindly, but it posed no threat to the titan in front of her.
Just as she was about to be swallowed by the titan, a figure suddenly appeared, moving like lightning.
A blade engulfed in flames sliced down, instantly tearing through the nape of the abnormal titan.
Boom!
With a loud crash, a young man with the ability to control fire stood triumphantly atop the titan's head. Bathed in sunlight, he exuded an almost holy aura.
"Are you okay?" His smile was warm, melting away the girl's fear and showing everyone his kind-heartedness in saving others.
In contrast, Kiba, who had only glanced at the scene before turning to leave, seemed cold and ruthless, like an executioner.
"Maybe he knew he wouldn't make it in time," the young man, Sean, said as he let the flames on his blade die down, breathing a little heavily.
The ability to control fire was indeed powerful, but the mental energy it consumed was too great; he couldn't use it for long periods.
Glancing at the figure who was about to reach the frontlines, Sean's eyes flickered before he quickly organized the others to continue moving forward.
Before anyone realized it, he had become the leader of the group, with even the previously arrogant fat guy now following his lead.
In such a dangerous environment, who wouldn't want a companion willing to lend a hand when things get tough?
Compared to that, Kiba's behavior seemed even more despicable, even though anyone else in his position wouldn't have helped either.
This didn't stop people from criticizing him.
Soon, the first batch of supplies was delivered to the wall. Upon opening them, they found that they contained blades and gas refills.
As for the twin blades in his hands, they felt pretty cool to hold, but the problem was that he had no basic training in close combat. Swinging them a few times, he nearly injured himself.
"Sigh, this thing is just decoration for me."
After checking his remaining gas fuel, Kiba leaped off the tall wall, just in time to meet up with the main group.
"Huh, why is he coming back?" The fat guy was surprised.
Seeing this, Sean silently approached the wall, glanced at the even larger battlefield in the distance, and then looked at the soldiers continuously transporting supplies.
It was clear that one batch of supplies wouldn't be enough, which was a subtle hint from the space.
"Let's go, we're heading back too." With that, he mimicked Kiba's move and jumped off the wall.
Sean was decisive, but not everyone had the same courage.
In the crowd, only two people followed him down: the fat guy with a defensive talent and the girl who had just been saved.
"Wait for me! Don't leave me here alone!" The girl quickly caught up, her tearful appearance clearly getting on Sean's nerves.
He had initially thought more highly of her, but now it was clear she was only following him because she saw him as her savior. This made Sean think less of her.
By contrast, the young man who acted before him was someone Sean thought was worth recruiting.
The next two hours were spent continuously transporting supplies back and forth, over a dozen times. Various supply boxes had already piled up on the wall.
Occasionally, they spotted titans, but no more abnormal ones appeared.
Thanks to his powerful perception, Kiba managed to avoid danger each time. By the end, he even attracted a few followers.
No one is a fool—avoiding danger once or twice might be luck, but doing it consistently is a skill.
Having a live radar like him around would be a waste not to use.
Ignoring the followers behind him, Kiba sat down on the wall and checked the notification that had just popped up from the space.
**[Main Quest: Transport Supplies (Completed)]**
**[You have received 100 Story Points, ODM Gear Control LV1 (Temporary) has leveled up.]**
**[Main Quest: Clear the Road (Unlocked)]**

**Mission Hint: You must hunt a giant alone.**
**Mission Hint: You must hold your ground (cannot leave the designated area).**
**Special Hint: Your performance will directly affect your mission evaluation, so choose wisely!**
Upon seeing the last special hint, Kiba knew he had made the right bet.
Slacking off was definitely not the right attitude; the Reincarnation Space probably doesn't need a bunch of cowards either.
In fact, the situation might be worse than Kiba imagined, because a few people over there had already started wailing.
"Why am I only getting 40 plot points as a reward?"
"Oh my god, you guys even got a skill level increase?!"
"How could this happen? If I'd known, I would've gone along too."
These cunning slackers not only had their plot points significantly reduced, but they also missed out on the skill rewards later on.
Although they didn't know what those things were for, it was obvious that they were extremely valuable, and anyone in their shoes would feel resentful.
Just as everyone was grumbling, Taige, who had previously disappeared, suddenly reappeared.
With a cold smirk, he looked at everyone while spinning his flintlock pistol in his hand: "Curious about what plot points can do?"
"In one word, they can give you everything you desire."
After speaking, the guide walked up to Kiba, looking at him with an appreciative gaze and said: "You're good, even better than I expected. Talent doesn't matter as much; as long as you survive, everything can change."
Seeing Taige's attitude of "I really appreciate you," Kiba took the opportunity to ask about the mission rewards.
"Reincarnation Space will never issue a suicide mission, but that doesn't give you a reason to slack off. If you don't seize the time to grow stronger, sooner or later you'll face a situation where human effort can't save you."
"As you experience more worlds, the difficulty of the missions will increase. The strong will thrive, while the weak will be walking on thin ice. This is the reality of Reincarnation Space."
"Well then..." Kiba carefully chose his words and asked with hopeful eyes, "If we could know the mission plot in advance, would it make things easier?"
