Like my previous work, I'm not going to go heavy on mechanics and stats that need spreadsheets to keep track of. I'm just not wired like that. It's a soft system novel, if you will, with progression dependent on completing objectives. On that topic, MC does progress rather fast, but as this will be a short work, I took the liberty.
