Do You Want To Be A Hero? (21) | Metal Hopper Unleashed
[METAL HOPPER! FUSION ACCESS!]
Everyone watched with bated breath as the green-armored hero tinkered with the strange white apparatus on his midriff. The sound of a robotic voice echoed from the device, adding to the growing confusion among the Pro Heroes.
"What is he doing now...?" Mount Lady, the newly debuted Pro Hero, asked about. Her voice was filled with a mixture of wonder... and also confusion as she stared at the masked hero's back.
She was crouching down, attending to the weakened high school girl whom was sitting on the dirty ground... yet her curiosity remained fixed on the hero standing before them.
Something about this newcomer had struck her as odd, a strange sense of familiarity lingering in her thoughts...
Her question, though initially met with silence, seemed to hang in the air as all the Pro Heroes stood in stunned confusion, their eyes locked on the strange sight of this mysterious, yet powerful newcomer hero.
"Not a single clue, Mount Lady," Death Arms finally responded, his gaze unbroken from the impending confrontation. "But whatever he's doing... it's working. That's all that matters right now."
The Pro Heroes, without exchanging words, seemed to reach a silent agreement... turning their focus entirely to the unfolding scene.
All of them watched in tense anticipation, waiting to see how this confrontation between the newcomer hero and the now weakened sludge villain would play out.
Meanwhile, the blonde high school girl—Katsuki—who had been rescued by said hero... stared weakly at the back of her childhood friend. Katsuki could barely hold on to her consciousness, her eyelids heavy... but she forced herself to stay awake.
She had to see him—had to witness Izuku's figure standing there... fighting for her sake.
She knew it was him.
Not just from his voice alone... but from the unmistakable presence he radiated. A presence that spoke directly to her soul, something undeniably familiar. There was something about his back—something that stirred a memory deep within her, a sensation she couldn't quite grasp...
It felt like a fleeting glimpse of her earliest childhood days... the memory of her hero.
"...!"
Suddenly, her eyes widened—realization dawning on her...!
But before she could fully grasp that epiphany, her thoughts were interrupted by the next action of her hero-!
Standing fearlessly against the now monstrous, towering form of the sludge villain, the green-armored hero hit both upper triggers on the white apparatus at his waist—three times in quick succession!
[ACCESS GRANTED! METAL HOPPER ULTIMATE!]
The device announced loudly, its robotic voice booming across the ruined district! Everyone who heard it recoiled in surprise!
"What in the world?! Where's that sound coming from?!?" Mount Lady uttered; her voice filled with shock as she tried to make sense of the booming announcement.
She became cautious, unsettled by the voice that seemed to resonate in her very core. "Is this part of his quirk too?! Not just the jumping around or the sword bit out of nowhere?!"
But it wasn't just the "godly" voice that shocked them. Soon after... the green-armored hero's entire body was enveloped by a radiant, ethereal green glow...!
"He's drawing an enormous amount of energy...!" Death Arms added, trembling as the pressure in the air grew heavier. "It might be his actual quirk... but at this point on... I don't even know anymore. It's like the guy has multiple quirks...!"
Suddenly, the air around the green-armored hero began to shift...!
A strange, gray mist-like mass started to materialize, swirling around him as if pulled from the very atmosphere itself. At first, it was nothing more than a shapeless, gray haze... but as the mist thickened, it began to condense—slowly forming into a massive swarm of solid objects...
The sight both captivated and unsettled everyone... What was once an eerie cloud of gray was now taking on a more defined shape... the pieces becoming more recognizable with each passing second...
And then, the objects took on a familiar form—small, bug-like creatures—millions of them!
A swarm of grasshoppers—or perhaps, locusts—crafted entirely from smooth, gray metal! The swarm of metal locusts buzzed and flickered into existence, their wings humming with an unnatural, almost mechanical sound.
Each one of these locusts looked sharper than steel... and like living weapons, they were ready to spring into action at the hero's command...!
"Metal Hopper Swarm," the green-armored hero whispered loudly, and the swarm of metal locusts responded instantly, seemingly moving by his very will!
The deadly swarm of bug-like creatures rushed toward the sludge villain's pulsing mass with terrifying speed! They descended on the sludge villain in a furious wave, engulfing it in a relentless assault!
"AH!!! GET AWAY FROM ME...!!!"
The villain fought back, swiping erratically with its massive tendrils of sludge, trying desperately to sweep away the metallic insects!
Sludge splattered everywhere, catching and engulfing many of the locusts...
But it was futile.
For every locust the villain managed to engulf, two more emerged, slicing through the sludge as if it were nothing.
The swarm seemed endless, their sharp metallic bodies cutting effortlessly through the villain's mass. Slowly... they began to overwhelm the villain completely, encircling it in a tightening spiral of metal!
The swarm wrapped around the villain's entire form, encasing it like a growing, writhing ball...! With a burst of motion, the ball of locusts lifted into the air... dragging the sludge villain with it!
"NO! NOO!!! GET OFF OF ME!!! LET MET GO, DAMNIT!!!"
The sludge villain thrashed and struggled, trying in vain to escape the clutch of the relentless swarm, but it was too late—the swarm had it completely trapped, bringing it high up into the sky, not allowing a single ooze of its sludge to escape...
Meanwhile, a new wave of locusts materialized around the hero once more. They swarmed him, but specifically, gathered toward his back.
Slowly, they merged and combined into a single solid mass... and as the locusts fused together, they transformed into a large pair of wings—bug wings—crafted entirely from sleek, gray metal!
The wings, seemingly thin and delicate, spread wide with a metallic hum. All witnesses were instantly mesmerized by the sight of the otherworldly, beautiful bug wings.
In an instant... the hero shot into the sky, soaring effortlessly with his new wings, leaving the crowd below stunned by the spectacle above.

Someone noticed the name being similar to a certain failed comedian turned CEO's Kamen Rider form, and indeed, I did somewhat use the name for it. It was pretty much the most natural-sounding name to my ear, so I used it. Even has a somewhat similar power to it...
There would be more fusion in the future. I will try to be creative with it, but I would probably just use simple stuff and all.
