Frost and Flame
Lele raised her shield as the wave of freezing mist rushed forward. Like a stalwart rock before a flood, the mist hit her large shield and flowed around her. Frost coated the shield and she winced as her arm pushed through the Enarmes of the shield, the straps and handle used to hold it, began to freeze as well. Despite the shield thumping dully as the bottom lip hit the floor as her arm grew too numb to hold it, she was better off than most. Most of the guards were on the ground gasping wildly trying to suck in breaths with frozen lungs. A few that were closest to the circle stood completely motionless, their bodies heavily coated in frost.
