Carbo looked around nervously, she wasn't as enthusiastic about the newest inventions as Mamor was. Some of the things they had been working on terrified her. She had never given the world the Arrived came from much thought. But hearing the various implements of murder that filled that strange world she wondered how anything was still left alive. Looking down at the modified ballista bolts she was carrying she felt a chill run down her spine. They had a nice set up high on the castle but with the castle tilted they couldn't get the angle they needed to hit their targets. She heard Jess say something, her tone angry which meant she was talking to the Twilight Lord. Or more likely at him since she lacked a ring like the other females that belonged to him. Carbo didn't pry, the Arrived girl's relationship with everyone else was strange. Even among the strangeness that the Twilight Court as she thought of it had.
