The monster let out a guttural roar of pain as the combined assault of Reign's lightning and the others' attacks struck home. The mandibles began to sizzle and smoke under the intense heat, and cracks appeared along their length. With a final surge of effort, Reign pushed back against the mandibles, causing them to snap off and fall to the ground.
With its mandibles destroyed, the monster let out a shriek of pain and fury before launching itself at Reign, its bladed legs slashing wildly.
