27. Miracle Levia-tan

Serafall Sitri or Serafall Leviathan was the Satan in charge of foreign affairs and domestic relations. 

Her job was to conduct PR for devils and try to resolve any troubles that devils might cause outside.

It was a very troublesome job as she had to bow her head more than a few times and apologize to the affected parties so that they won't kill the offenders who were mostly snobbish devils from pillar houses. 

Personally she couldn't care less if they died but as a leader of devil kind she couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way of her job. 

The devils already had low fertility rates and the birth of a pure blooded devil was very low and their population has been dwindling. Even with the addition of reincarnated devils the devil population is still not enough. 

Because they couldn't just convert everyone willy nilly otherwise all the other factions will be hostile towards them. So she could only try her best to preserve the current population. 

The Pillar houses all have traits that are extremely rare , like the Phenex house, Bael house, and the Belial house. So the bloodlines of the pillar houses were important to them. 

She was not a blood supremacist and she won't treat Reincarnated devils as sub citizens but the Pillar devils due to their population being low is like a minority who hold a lot of power and sway in the devil politics. 

If she tried to change the status quo then it might result in a lot of headaches and even a civil war. So they the New Satans were more or less trying to maintain this fragile balance. 

It was tiring and annoying but the devils couldn't afford a war especially among themselves , she herself didn't wish to fight in a war. The feeling of having the blood of your own kin didn't feel good. Especially since their fighting was pointless and in the end would only harm them to benefit others.

But right now she was dealing with an issue that had nothing to do with them but at the same time had everything to do with them. She was both terrified and annoyed when she recalled that event. 

Although nothing detrimental happened to them , they didn't get anything from this incident either so she was pretty pissed when she had to deal with a ton of paperwork relating to this matter. 

Chaos Karma Dragon stormed the Vatican and nearly burned down the whole place and now heaven has to rebuild the inquisition or at least what was left of it. 

What did they expect when they pissed of a dragon. But what was depressing was the higherups didn't even know what happened until the big bad dragon came knocking on their door steps. 

She was one of the few people who knew the inside story due to her close relationship with Cleria and Venelana. Apparently she was also stunned when she knew about it , to think that the cute child she saw that day was the catalyst for it all.

The heaven had to give Asacalon and their Inquisition was destroyed just because some randum scrub tried to kill what he assumed to be just a common devil child but ended up being someone he should have never touched. 

The Church touched a dragon's reverse scale without even being aware of it and Heaven had to intervene , Venelana told her that Ascalon was given to them as compensation for nearly killing their son but she was sure they should have received more.

She felt her brain melt when she knew about his true identity but also a little concerned for Venelana. If his identity is known to the Great King Faction or the Old Satan faction then they will come for him. 

And his mere presence will change the political landscape for the devils. But Serafall was excited instead of being scared as she knew that Vivian would most likely be a powerhouse on the level of Sirzechs at the least and his other mother Tiamat would also support him. So the devils will have more allies. 

And they can also revive the Lucifer house whose political power and influence will surely make the Great King Faction pale in comparison. 

And she quite liked the boy because even if she hated to admit it he was cuter than her So-tan and when he called her Sera-tan she felt her heart being pierced by an arrow. 

How can someone be so cute! She was planning on bringing her So-tan along with her when she went next time to meet them because forming relationships is good especially with a Lucifer , and her So-tan who will be the next head of the house. 

Although it pained her to even think about it , she couldn't help but consider a marriage alliance. With her relationship with Venelana she could have some leeway and maybe a head start. 

Maybe her So-tan would be seen as public enemy number one by all the young ladies of the devil houses after Vivian makes his debut , but it was a worthy sacrifice. She could also have a cute little brother , so it was a win-win for her.

But what she was worried about was the fact that whether her So-tan could monopolise him. 

So-tan you have to work hard for Onee-chan's sake!

Sona who was reading some books in her room suddenly shivered as she felt an ominous premonition in her mind. 

She didn't know that her dear big sister had already sold her off for personal gain....
