26. Lucifer

A small error from my part , from now on Tsubaki's eyes are light brown.

" Vivi-kun , my Dad keeps on telling me to stay away from you " Irirna said with a pout as she was sitting near Vivian who was reading his book calmly. 

" Well do you want to ? " Vivian asked back without taking his eyes off of his book

" Of course not! B-But Dad says he might move away from here , and we will go live in Europe " Irina said a little sadly as her eyes were getting a little misty and she sniffled a bit. 

Suddenly she felt a warm hand on her head and she raised her head up in confusion " V-Vivi-kun? " 

" It's not that big of a deal is it ? At most it would be a temporary separation and we can still call each other " Vivian said with a smile as he didn't think it would be that hard to see Irina even if she moved away from Kuoh. His Fia-nee was pretty good at teleportation magic. 

And his mother ( Tiamat ) told him there aren't many places she can't visit in this world , Vivian couldn't help but remember that his mother looked so cool at that time...

Sirzechs was annoyed that he had to deal with paperwork again , and Serafall was was on his ass all the time for landing her on such a big shit because her current predicament was somehow related to him. 

She was angry because she wasn't able to spend time with her So-tan, he was speechless , he was working his ass of in the office not even getting to see his daughter that much and this woman was whining about not seeing her 8 year old sister , he also had a sister that age and he was also a certified sis-con , but you don't see him complaining.

If you want so much free time then why bother being a Satan. Sirzechs was a bit annoyed this time when he had to deal with Serafall's antics because he himself was dumbfounded when he found out he had a 'brother'. 

Sirzechs felt like his brain was melting , since his supposed 'brother' had two mothers and one was a frickin Dragon King while the other was ...well his mother. He couldn't deny the claim too because the child inherited his mother's violet eyes and resembled Tiamat a lot. 

So he asked his mother to explain to him in a simple way and he was stunned beyond belief while at the same time a little wary.

This was supposed to be the ultimate weapon for Zekram and he was pretty sure even the old Satan faction had a hand in it. 

So even if he looked like a cute child Sirzechs couldn't see him as anything but a weapon much less a brother. 

Vivian wasn't like Rias , he was just a clone of his mother together with Tiamat and Lucifer.

So he didn't feel any brotherly affection all he felt was worry about what was going to happen especially since his wife seemed to very close to the boy. 

He couldn't do anything even if he wanted to , the first thought that came into his mind when he heard about Vivian was to get rid of him.

It was only natural for him to think that way because in his eyes he was something created in a lab with the purpose of being a weapon. 

To him the current safety of the whole faction was much more important and the overall interests of the current regime. 

Vivian's presence will result in a lot trouble for his family due to him being a genuine Lucifer unlike him who just inherited the title. 

There was reason why he was Satan Lucifer not Satan Gremory. The name Lucifer can't be changed no matter what and the original four Satan's are the ones who made the devil's what they are today and if they tried to change that then they might face opposition from the people.

Unlike humans , devils where a long lived race so they don't forget matters so rewriting history isn't that easy. 

The phrase ' History is written by the victors' is only applicable to humans .

They can't just shit on the old Satan's name and try to undermine their prestige in hopes of furthering their reputation.

It just wasn't possible , on the contrary it will surely backfire as the original Satan's were very loved. 

Lucifer might have been a crazy , revenge driven man , but he was someone who singlehandedly made the devils what they are today along with his other comrades. 

So they didn't make that dumb decision instead took on their title as a show of respect hoping they could establish their own prestige by doing their best for the devils. 

His family has immensely benefited from his position and no matter how impartial they tried each of them have helped out their families , Serafall had made her Sitri house as prosperous as their Gremory house with her influence and them being good at water magic and owning the major hospitals helped out a lot. 

Only the Bael house could contend with his Gremory house in terms of wealth and influence. 

And he would like to keep it that way and Vivian was a major problem to that , as his bloodline itself could be considered something of a game changer. 

But he couldn't do anything and he didn't want to do anything, due to many reasons. Major one should be being hated by his wife and mother. 

And the other one would be facing an angry dragon. 

He didn't want his Gremory territory to be the next Inquisition.....
