Chapter 20- Surpassing the Super Saiyan

Shattered Spirit is a skill that is inspired by Genki Dama, or Spirit Bomb, and is created by Kei after knowing that he can't create Spirit Bomb due to him being Vegeta.

For some reason, he felt that he can but also felt that he can't and while trying, this skill was accidentally created.

Due to what Vegeta (the real one) has done in his life so far, Kei was not able to create Spirit Bomb but also because Kei's soul is not evil, he felt that he could maybe

Still, the accidental version of Spirit Bomb was something Kei couldn't turn his eyes away and started practicing it

And so, he created an alternative version of Spirit Bomb and named it "Shattered Spirit"

The skill requires the caster to be an evil person, someone who enjoys the scream and pain of others, which Vegeta (the real one) was.

The skill requires as much energy as possible and it also takes energy from the souls of those people who were being wronged by someone or from those who have evil hearts and evil desires are also included in it

And the reason why Kei called it a dual-edged sword is because its nature is pure evil and if not controlled the right way, it can eat away the person who created it

AND

This skill is still in its incomplete phase, so…. Accidents are bound to happen.

Once the attack is launched, the moment the black ball touches something, it will turn into a thin or a thick black light, given how much energy is being fed and the black light will start eating away anything that it will touch

INCLUDING THE SPACE itself

BUT

This eating session can remain from 1 second to max 5 seconds, depending on how well it is being created by the user, or else it will just explode in a second.

When Kei used this skill against Frieza, he was barely alive so it lasted around 2 seconds only

The moment Frieza was about to launch his attack to kill Vegeta, Goku appeared out of nowhere and took him somewhere safe

''So, you finally…. came"

"yes, sorry for making you do all the work"

"Shut… up, this is who we are… we are Saiyans

The race that makes everyone tremble in fear… just kill him

Kei has used everything he had; he is down for good now.

Goku looked at Vegeta for a while and then looked at Frieza.

And so, the story goes on-

Dende wanted to help Vegeta, seeing how he protected everyone and made Frieza fear with his last attack but he is now dead

So healing won't be effective.

The story goes on the same route, Krillin is killed by Frieza and Piccolo is barely clinging to his life. Dende is also killed by Frieza.

All of this made Goku angry and so he turns into Super Saiyan.

While Frieza and Goku fought each other, others left the planet, with the help of Dragon Balls of Earth and Namekians, all namekians and everyone else are revived and teleported to earth as the whole planet Namek is going to explode.

Goku defeats Frieza and manages to remain alive after the planet explodes and tells everyone that he will come back home on his own.

Soon, Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu are also being revived.

Kei is living with Bulma right now and he is waiting for Goku to come back while training himself.

But there is some problem that Kei is facing and that is, him being not able to communicate with Vegeta's body

After his death, and being revived, Kei is not able to establish any communication with Vegeta's body and this is making him worried as he still don't have full control over his body and he is being clearly rejected whenever he wants to use skills like Kiao Ken and even using small skills are becoming hard.

Time passes and Frieza appears again with his father and was about to destroy the earth, but he and everyone else is being killed by Trunks, who can turn into Super Saiyan and he is from the future.

Soon Goku also appears and shows his new skill, Instant Transmission,

Trunks tell everyone about the arrival of Androids in 3 years' time and also give a warning to Goku about his heart disease, then he leaves the place.

Everyone goes into training for 3 years to fight against Androids, But Kei is busy contacting his body.

Inside Bathroom-

Kei is sitting inside his large bathtub when accidentally he hears a familiar voice

"You sure are enjoying your time, Rat!"

"!!!!!!!!

Finally, you appeared"

Kei immediately closes his eyes and focuses, he finds Vegeta's body in darkness and both of them stood in front of each other

"I will kill you if you dont answer me straight, tell me what happened when you died?" Vegeta asks Kei

"Nothing, the moment I died, I stopped feeling anything

I didn't even know that I died when I opened my eyes, it was as if… I was taking another nap

What about you?"

"Felt nothing and just found myself here again, attached with your pathetic existence"

"At least you are back now, it seems like I can't live without you (sounds weird but whatever) as I can't use my Ki well

So, can we now corporate with each other?

I think that I performed really well"

Vegeta remained silent as he looked at Kei, after a long silence, he spoke

"You are able to kill others when necessary but still, you have a weak heart and you over-pushed yourself in order to protect others

Putting others above you, FUCK YOU

Even if i have to die, i wont do that!"

"Yeah… I know my mistake

And I also got greedy, thought that I could heal myself if I survive but I was just being greedy and got myself killed"

"Good to know that you at least have tiny amount of thinking skill and know your mistake, still you are rat!"

Kei didnt pay much attention to his vulgar tone, he is already used to it.

"So, what is your answer?

Are we in this together?

I don't want to die yet as I want to make my own legacy

I want to stand at the top just like I did in my past life"

"50%.."

"What?"

"I can give you 50% control over me, I still don't believe in you rat!

Also, give that damn control of decision-making to me"

"NO

I am happy that I am having 50% of control but still, I know who you are and I also know that you would kill anyone if I leave making decision to you."

Vegeta remains silent for a long time which made Kei scared for some reason and then Vegeta agrees with him while adding that he will be allowed to take over him when he will get a chance and also he will be putting his own thoughts during the battle and Kei agreed to all of it.

Vegeta then asks

"So what is your goal?"

"Surpassing Super Saiyan Goku"

"hmph, you think that you can surpass Super Saiyan level without even achieving Super Saiyan transformation?

Truly a delusional thought, as expected from a rats tiny brain"

"AHAHAA who said I would need to turn into Super Saiyan to surpass Goku
