Prologue

Oh look a planet! It's the Earth! Such a beautiful planet isn't it? Shall we see what the dominant species on this planet is doing?

Washington DC, February 2 2021.

It's been a few days since the new President, Juan Guzman-Lopez, has been inaugurated. During those few days, he had to clean up his predecessor's mess. To think he had to do so much work during his first week as president. It's like cleaning after a storm. Well that's the job as the most powerful being running the country is about. Ahhhh... America....

Like all the leaders around the world, Juan had to be informed on what's going. Lately, he had been informed of a small storm heading towards the east coast of the country. Juan decided to lean his chair a little and close his eyes for a bit. Maybe he can catch a few minutes of sleep. That is until an aide burst in.

Waking up the poor bastard in an instant. To think he can't get a few minutes in. Oh well. Luckily this aide was usually calm. But what has gotten this aide all shook up? "M-mister President!" The aide yelled out. Now something was up. So he responded back, "Yes? Is something wrong?" The aide frantically looked back at the paper she was holding. Then she looked at Juan.

"Sir! The storm that we reported earlier- It's growing rapidly!" Said the aide frantically. Okay now, don't storms grow big? That's what Juan thought. Before he could respond, the aide interrupted his chain of thought, "Not only it's growing rapidly, it's also moving faster than any hurricanes!" Now that's the weird part that he was waiting for. "Wait... hold on a minute, don't storms usually do that? Typically a hurricane?" Asked the dumbfounded man.

"Usually yes.... But for this one, it's unusual! We haven't seen anything like it before. Not only that but it's giving off a strange signal!" Answered the aide. So okay it's not a hurricane then. Maybe a huge ass electrical storm. It's possible with all the climate changing rapidly. "Jeanette, what's the status on this storm?" Juan asked. He waited patiently for his aide to calm down just a bit. "We don't know at the moment yet. You should be getting a called from Nasa in a moment." Jeanette said. Great.

Buzz... Buzz... Buzz...

Juan picked up the phone, a terrified voice pick up. "Mr President... I'm a meteorologist here at NASA. I'm here to inform you that we need brace for impact..." the voiced said. Now hold on just a minute! Brace for impact?! Before Juan could talk to the guy, the room went dark all of sudden.

Down the halls, into the offices, everyone stopped what they were doing. Even the cars driving by stopped. People got out of their cars and looked up. A big void surrounded by dark clouds was illuminating all over them. It covered the whole country. Everyone was just looking up in awe. Some were recording, others were terrified. Suddenly a big bright light blinded everyone outside. It even blinded those inside buildings. It blinded everyone in the whole country. Next thing they knew, the storm vanished. Sky was bright ass fucked. Too bright to be exact. To be honest it was just the side effect of being blinded.

Once everyone gained their vision back, they went on with their day. Like nothing had happened. That's what the civilians thought. But not the President.
