18. Constituent Assembly: Second Meeting

1947, Delhi, India

Today, I officially handed over all the technology to government sector. After this, I went for today's constituent assembly, in today's assembly some more topics were decided on. Some of the topics I raised were-

"Education and Medical sector will be a joint sector in which majority shareholding of 60 percent will be under government and rest for private industries to invest. Doctors are allowed to open their own practices and teacher are allowed to give extra or private classes but all the hospitals and schools will be joint sector as well as pharmaceutical companies otherwise the prices of good education and medical treatment will rise too much for common people.

Complete ban on use of CFCs in refrigerator and AC Compressors as I have found from my research that they break the Ozone layer of our atmosphere leading to direct contact with Ultraviolet rays of the sun which causes excessively high temperature and skin cancer and many other problems.

Any industry which need wood as raw material will be highly regulated by government. We cannot let the greedy privatier cut down our forests indiscriminately. Also if any kind of trees are cut down 10 new trees need to be planted in specific areas alloted for planting of trees.

Killing of animals for their hides and furs will be completely understand government sector. Textile, furniture and any other industries will have to buy it from government at the rate at which we provide it. Ofcourse domestic animals like pigs and other such animal are not included. This only includes wild animals in forest not in farms.

As an extension of this law is no dangerous or endangered animals will be used in circuses in any way or form.

Local tribals can be used to help in enforcing these laws in all forests of India. They can also be used to take care of these new trees planted near the forest.

Complete ban on growing tobacco or any intoxicants that rob the soil of its fertility on Indian soil.

A team of historians and scholars in cultural scriptures will be organised who will work on finding out all the discoveries made by us to wipe out all the propoganda spread by these foreigners of their superiority. Because according to my knowledge we knew about earth being round, rotation, revolution, 9 planets, atoms ( Anu in Sanskrit) etc since time immemorial."

Some opposition party tried to oppose me about education and hospital, ban on tobacco, CFCs etc. but couldn't find any valid reason.

Another topic raised by me was about finalising our legislative, executive and judiciary structure and about recruiting people well versed in law as well as people who are knowledgeable in various fields like science, business etc. Also telling everyone their that India will neither be following communist model of economy not capital model but will experiment with different things in different states and will keep doing it till a satisfying model is selected for every state but some things like zamindari system and large land holding by previous nobles need to end and will be done after completion of constitution and first general election.

After today's meeting with Constituent Assembly and emphasising the need to make constitution ASAP I went for PMO and had a meeting with Manikarnika, the current Foreign Minister and a brilliant diplomat who can convince you for anything if she wants.

"Manikarnika I want you to go USA and convince them to not recognise Pakistan as a seprate country. Convince them that India can offer them much more than a country which doesn't even have a naval border. Also tell them that while our market is not open for foreign industries they can still establish factories and use cheap labour and raw material available in India for producing goods here than transporting it if they follow our regulations. It will be cheaper for them to produce these goods in India than their own countries." I told her.

"Ofcourse Mr. Prime Minister. I will arrange a meeting with their foreign minister right away." She said and went to prepare for the trip.

After this I called my right hand man, Hakim Khan the current Minister of Home Affairs. Soon he entered and I told him of my plan, "Hakim, I plan to end the large landholding of zamindars and nobles so I want you to start recruiting more than enough police officers for this move by the time of declaration of result in first general election which I think should be held by 1951. I want a clean takeover of all these land so check existing officers for any corrupt element which may leak information to these nobles as well. Also keep an eye on all these families so that they don't transfer this land to someone or exploit any other loopholes in the law."

"Ofcourse minister, I will ensure that no bloodsucking zamindar or noble be able to get away from this law and no corrupt element will be left in the force by the time I am done with them." He said and went to start recruitment of police officers.

Next I called Defence Minister, Banda Singh. "Banda Singh start preparing our army for war, both our military and air force." I ordered him.

"Mr. Prime Minister, are we going to war with someone. I need to know with whom we are at war with to prepare accordingly." He questioned, getting serious.

"No we are not going at war with anyone but I suspect that Pakistan will soon wage war on us. If not us than the princely states that have declared for us or is yet to be declared. My in laws the Khans of Kalat have already declared for us and more declaration are coming from Balochistan nobility everyday. They will surely try to capture for the port cities it provides them. Also Jammu and Kashmir is a prime target for them with its majority muslim population but it's king have yet to declare for any nation. So, I want us prepared for this eventuality such that it does not inconvenience our people in the slightest. Also when they instigate war with us we capture every piece of our land back." I told him.

"Then I will start preparing our forces for this war and start gathering enough supplies for the eventuality of war Mr. Prime Minister." He replied and went to start preparing the army.

Well I have trump card for winning Pakistan over as I knowingly let Pakistan be created for getting rid of the Muslim League. While they may not be much popular in India but they would have incited too many riots in India and it would have been difficult to find proof for their involvement in these riots. But now I have a purely valid reason for declaring them terrorist illegally occupying Indian land.
