Garp

Aokiji didn't know what to say or what to do. He couldn't do anything except standing there and looking at the leaving figure of Z. 

Now there were four major forces remaining on the battlefield and they were Marines, Thunder Pirates, Whitebeard Pirates, and the Revolutionaries.

From the Marines side, four out of the five elders were there, all three Admirals were there but one was quite injured. Kong was also there. Few Vice admirals were alive but none of them were in fighting condition except for Garp. 

Whitebeard, Marco, Ace, Jozu, Vista were the only remaining member of Whitebeard Pirate and on top of that, all of them were slightly injured.

All of the Thunder Pirates were alive and fine.

From the revolutionary's side, Dragon, Sabo, Inazuna, and Ivankov all were alive but the latter three were injured and were not in a condition to fight. 

There were two other powerhouses who were on the battlefield and both of them were not injured that much. The two people were Mihawk and Kuma. The rest of the people on the battlefield were either too injured to fight or were too weak compared to the monsters that were able to survive the explosion.

Everyone in the area saw Zephyr walk away but they didn't know the reason why he walked away. Kizaru looked at Zephyr and scratched his head. 

"What's up with the instructor, why is he walking away?"

Aokiji sighed and started walking towards other Admirals and the elders. Kong looked at Aokiji with a questioning gaze.

Aokiji looked at Kong. "Don't look at me like that I don't know much. He was going on about how Rabin was right and told me he was leaving the Marines." 

Rabin heard Aokiji and chuckled. "I just told him how he was working for a bunch of egotistical hypocrites he made the right decision by leaving the Marines." 

Kong didn't say anything to Rabin he walked towards Zephyr to stop him.

Aokiji stepped in front of Kong. "He told me if we tried to stop him, he would retaliate."

Kong stopped after he heard Aokiji. He looked at Zephyr and let out a sigh. He turned back and looked at Garp who was standing next to the Pirates. 

"Garp, what are you doing there with them? Come over here."

Garp stayed silent and didn't say anything.

"Garp, didn't you hear me? Come here."

Garp sighed "I have decided to quit being a Marine."

Kong immediately yelled. "This is not the time to be joking around Garp!"

"I am being completely serious." 

"Don't make such impulsive decision Garp think this through carefully."

"I already have thought this through. You have tried to promote me to Admiral Position countless times but I always rejected because of the celestial dragon, and there is the thing that happened with my son Dragon which led him to be the revolutionary but I still trusted you guys. 

"It should come to no surprise to you or anyone else that I don't like Celestial Dragons, but despite knowing all that the marines allowed few celestial dragons to come to my hometown. They nearly killed my grandson and when my student saved him you labeled him as a pirate and chased him around.

"I considered leaving the Marines right then and there but I decided to give you one final chance, but you guys just injured many and killed thousands of innocent marines right in front of me." 

Garp looked at Tsuru who was being treated by Mia when he said that. 

Garp continued. "Now you are trying to kill my Sons, Grandsons, and my students. Do you really believe I will help you to kill my own family?"

Akainu looked at Garp. "I knew he and his family couldn't be trusted but no one believed me."

No one on the Marines side was happy about Garp's decision but they couldn't do anything about it. When the three elders arrived after the explosion Allan was sure that they could kill both Whitebeard, Dragon, and Rabin but he didn't expect both Zephyr and Garp to leave the Marines. 

None of them knew what to do. Rabin and Whitebeard were about to fight but the Marines interrupted them. Now they were in a three-way stalemate. 

Whitebeard didn't want to make the move because his group was the weakest link, and also because if he made a move against the Marines Rabin and Dragon had no obligation to help him, and if he made a move against Rabin that was just asking for death.  

Marines also couldn't make any moves because if they did there was a very high probability that Whitebeard and Rabin would team up to take them down.

The only group that had the freedom to make a move was a group of Rabin and Dragon. They were partners with each other so they would help each other and both of them could make a swift retreat with their crew if needed. Everyone on the battlefield knew this thing very well. 

Rabin looked at Dragon. "They are all chirping a lot what do you say Dragon should we silence them?"

The dragon was about to say something but someone spoke before him. "I think that's enough killing for now. If anyone among you wants to fight I will accompany you till the end." 

Everyone turned around to see who was speaking and when they turned around they saw one of the emperor Red-haired shanks and his crew.
