Death and life are common on the battlefield, more so after the portal that opened two years ago that changed the landscape of war.

The battle with the plague beasts that were under control and manageable became hard after the portal opened up. The Military was stretched out, making them conscript young and inexperienced civilians into the force to keep the war at bay.

But what can these Civilians even achieve? They were never meant for a war of this scale. The most they could do was provide support and see as anomans and native soldiers alike die en masse.

All they felt was the helplessness of this situation, they couldn't achieve what these monsters were capable of, even the recoil of a grade two gun would break their body and the weight of a chain sword was too much for the feeble hands of the soldiers to handle.
