Cynthia's Battle for the Championship: Interval

Thirty minutes later in the Champion Stadium, the audience had already taken back their seats and were excitedly anticipating for the second round to begin. The battle judge adjusted his microphone and started announcing the start of the second round.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Lily of the Valley Conference!!!!!! We are here at the Champion Stadium, participating in an event significant to the Sinnoh Region. Two months ago when the Lily of the Valley Conference started, and the trainer tournament phase started, we were introduced to a rather unexpected but welcomed participant. That participant destroyed her opponents with ease, only revealing one of her Pokémon in the process. The day she won the trainer tournament phase, she immediately issued a challenge for the Elite Four, whom she again destroyed with ease, this time revealing two more of her Pokémon. She did the same after she won the Elite Four phase as she did when she won the previous phase, she challenged the Champion.

"Today we all have gathered here for that same challenge, the Pokémon Battle between our Champion, Don Chinjao, and the challenger, Princess Shirona D. Cynthia. We have already seen how the first round ended in the victory of the Princess, but will the same happen in the second round? Will the Princess be able to win the position of the Champion? Or will she lose like the many other challengers from the past? Will Sinnoh get a new Champion after thirty-five years? All of our questions will be answered today Ladies and Gentlemen.

"Let us continue this epic battle and commence the second round of the Battle!!!!! Trainers! Get ready!! Only one minute remains for the start!!!!"

The Champion and the Princess who were in their respective locker rooms got up and began walking towards the entrance to the stadium.

Don Chinjao was disappointed and happy at the same time. He was disappointed that his Pokémon weren't a match for his opponent's Pokémon. He had trained them since his early days when he was still a trainer and was sailing the seas as a pirate. They had accompanied him throughout his life, supporting him in everything he did faithfully.

But he was happy that he had finally been defeated by someone. He knew the second round would be a tough fight and there was a good chance that he would lose today as the princess was trained by monsters, some far stronger than he was. He was happy that finally, someone worthy had challenged him for the Champion seat and he would be able to retire in peace. But one final challenge remained. He had to test her strength and see if she would be able to succeed and surpass him.

With this thought in mind, he moved toward the entrance prepared for the incoming battle.

Cynthia was excited. She had already won the first round and was confident she would win the second round too. She just had to be careful as to not be caught off guard by something unexpected from the opponent. She was aware that she was a talented individual and if she wanted, she could achieve all the luxuries in this world without doing much. But she had a dream, a dream that she shared with someone special, and to achieve that dream she had to be strong, strong enough to overcome the obstacles she would encounter.

Becoming a Champion was important as it would grant her access to certain important things needed to achieve her dream. She had worked hard for this day, she had trained every day alongside her Pokémon and had achieved levels of strength she had never thought she would. Now was the time to reveal her to the world and take the position of the Champion of the Sinnoh Region.

After spending time with her Pokémon in the locker room and celebrating their victory, she freshened up, had some lunch, changed into her combat suit, and waited for the second round to begin. When she heard the announcement of the battle judge she started moving toward the battlefield entrance.

The two trainers took their positions as the battle judge reintroduced them to the audience. By now more and more people had tuned in to watch the match from their homes and this Pokémon battle was getting attention from everyone in the world. Cynthia's fan club too was rising in numbers each second.

"Ladies and Gentlemen the wait is over. Both trainers are ready to begin, so I request them to take their respective positions on the battlefield. Let me explain the rules of the second round.

"This will be a one-on-one combat round.

"Anything and everything is fair.

"All Weapons are allowed.

"Killing is allowed.

"The person who knocks out the other wins.

"Let the battle begin!!!!!!!
