The dragon didn't even bother with the frightened Alex and just kept flying at its own pace, it moved like it was flying alone and not like a human was in its possession.
They flew past many mountains along the way and Alex could see different types of flying creatures in a certain region, a single species occupied at least two hundred mountains while the next mountain was on vacation.
Alex could somehow guess that the empty mountains were the boundaries between territories of different creatures, he also noticed that none of the creatures ventured out of their territories into that of others because as far as they had drifted by each territory, Alex was unable to Spot a different beast in another beast's territory.
Yet they paid no attention to the dragon and human company flying past their territories, some of them would only look over to them at most while the rest treated them like they were invincible.
"Can you speak?" Alex asked the dragon that was gripping firmly onto him with its big claws.
Alex now noticed that the dragon's claw wasn't like any other dragon he had seen in his old world, this dragon had only two claws on each leg making it a total of four, yet these four claws were more than enough to make one pass out just from seeing them.
Alex believed that this dragon could easily shred even a mountain to bits if it wished to, yet this same claw was gripping into his body without hurting him.
Another thing Alex also noticed was that the claws would occasionally change their color to adjust to their surroundings, when they pass by a territory of Yellow creatures, the color of the claw would also change to Yellow, so also it was for every other color Alex had seen so far, the claw would just copy it.
The dragon didn't respond to Alex's words, it just opened its big mouth and shut it back again. It was like it decided against replying at the last second but that was enough for Alex, at least he now knew that the dragon could understand his words.
One other thing that made Alex refrain from asking another question was the razor-sharp set of teeth he saw when the dragon opened its mouth, although he was eighty-five Percent sure that the dragon would attack him,' he hoped', he couldn't help but imagine himself getting bitten by those teeth.
They kept flying for almost an hour till finally, Alex could see what seemed like a twin peak mountain, from which Alex could make out many red and blue beasts flying around.
This was also the first time Alex saw two territories being merged, and any of the flying beasts could move freely in the others territories.
This made Alex very curious about what these twin mountains held, with a glance he could tell those blue creatures were dragons, blue dragons to be precise, it seemed this was where the dragon that was carrying him came from, while the other red-looking creatures were too far away for Alex to identify their species.
Of course, he was just being curious, he had seen many beasts along their flight that he couldn't even recognize, so it wouldn't be a surprise to him if he later discovered that those red creatures were part of the oblivious beasts to him.
But come to think of it, why did this fierce-looking dragon bring him here, could it be...
No, no, no...it couldn't be, right?
They weren't going to feed on him right??
"Umm....sir dragon, please, can you tell me why you brought me here? if you guys are going to feed on me, please I advise you to find something bigger, look at me, am so small to even fit in the space between your teeth, I won't have enough flesh for all of you"
Alex tried to reason with the dragon, if they were going to feed on him, it would only be best for him to plead his way out now that they were still quite a distance from their destination.
???? blue dragon
It was completely speechless, of course, it could understand what Alex was saying but this accusation was too sudden, couldn't this human think of something else?
It didn't know why their guardian had sent this kid here, but it was certain if the guardian wasn't the one who brought him here, then he had no way of getting here, and that could only mean that this kid was special and that was something the blue dragon could already feel, although just like the turtle tiger guardian, it couldn't identify what was special about Alex.
The blue dragon could still vividly hear the words which the guardian had passed to them some hours ago.
"Give him the best"
That was their guardian's word to their dimension, and that alone had given them three crucial pieces of information.
Firstly, someone was arriving in their dimension and they had to welcome him or her properly.
Secondly, they had to make sure that this sudden guest was satisfied before leaving.
Thirdly, it showed that the turtle tiger guardian had taken a liking to this kid, so only they knew what the guardian could do to them if by chance anything happened to this kid.
Total annihilation of their territories.
That was something the blue dragon didn't want to see in its time, it could feel invisible huge beads of sweat forming on its head.
As much as it wanted to tell Alex this was all the guardian's doing, it wouldn't dare, unless it wanted the moody guardian to come after it.
So in the end, it could only assure Alex of its safety.
Alex was relieved by the dragon's assurance, although it didn't know about the dragons of this world, one thing he knew would never change was the fact that dragons were Noble creatures that kept their words.
So the dragon's words made Alex's unsettled heart steady again, this was while he was completely oblivious to what was going through the dragon's head.
Finally, they were in just enough range for Alex to make out that those red creatures were.
And they turned out to be eagles, red giant eagles.
And these beasts gave off an even more suppressing pressure compared to what he felt when the blue dragon had caught him mid-air.
This alone was enough for Alex to know that these red giant eagles were far more superior to the blue dragons yet they still shared territories.
That wasn't even important to think about at the moment, what made Alex more astonished was this weird setup.
Dragons were Noble creatures that were said to be on top of the world, how could eagles, EAGLES!! Be superior to them.
This planet was truly strange.
Alex felt that he needed to leave this place as soon as possible, if not, he felt something bad was bound to happen.
The blue dragon, alongside Alex, landed on top of one of the twin mountains, where thousands of red giant eagles and huge blue dragons were gathered, forming neat columns of red and blue-winged formation, with a slightly bigger red eagle and a dragon as the start point of the winged formation.
Alex was once again stunned by the line-up, Was all these just to welcome him? or was he in the wrong place?
