Hao Juanxiu is a young master of the ruined Hao Clan. During their most dire situation, fortune will smile upon him, when an insignificant-looking cube actually contains the secret of the Primordial Era. However, he will soon realize that he is not a martial art prodigy. Without the power or strength, Juanxiu will decide to use the knowledge and resources he gained from the tower to build the strongest army that can rival even the gods.
Pan Geming pushed himself harder, sprinting towards the members of the escort group who were battling the Karma Order. His heart was pounding in his chest as he dodged a flurry of attacks and parried with his sword. As he approached the group, he could see Cao Ying leading the charge.
"Pan Geming! You made it just in time," Cao Ying shouted over the din of battle.
Pan Geming breathed a sigh of relief as he joined the fray. "I couldn't leave you all to fight alone," he said, striking down a Karma Order member with a swift motion of his sword.
Cao Ying nodded approvingly. "You've done well. If you were a minute late, we would have been nothing but corpses by now."
Pan Geming grimaced at the thought. "We need to get out of here before more of them show up," he said, eyeing the surrounding area warily.
As they fought off the attackers, they moved quickly towards the exit. Cao Ying and Pan Geming exchanged glances, both knowing the danger that lurked around every corner. But they fought with determination and skill, their swords flashing in the dimly lit passageways.
"Stay close to me," Cao Ying commanded, leading the way. "We need to get out of here before it's too late."
Pan Geming nodded, his heart racing as they fought their way through the ranks of the Karma Order. They were outnumbered, but they refused to give up. They would fight to the end, if that's what it took to survive.
The crowd of people hypnotized by the Karma Order was in a frenzy, stumbling over each other as they followed the cult's commands. Juanxiu felt helpless as he watched them, knowing that it would be a difficult task to snap them out of it.
Looking around, he saw that the chaos made it impossible to draw a sigil and create a formation on the ground, the usual way of breaking hypnotic spells. He couldn't think of any other way to help the people.
Then, he remembered the other reward he received during his last visit to the tower, a blank formation plate. It was a rare item and he had only been given five of them. Using it for something as trivial as breaking hypnosis seemed like a waste, but he didn't have a choice right now.
Juanxiu took out the blank formation plate from his spatial pouch, feeling a sense of urgency as he held it tightly in his hand. He focused his attention on the plate, pouring his qi into it and channeling his energy through his fingers.
As he began to etch the formation onto the plate, he could feel the power of the plate resonating with his qi, creating a powerful surge of energy that pulsed through his body. He traced intricate lines and patterns onto the plate, each stroke precise and deliberate, as he carefully carved the formation into its surface.
The formation glowed with a bright, otherworldly light as Juanxiu etched it onto the plate, the colors shifting and changing in a mesmerizing display of raw power. The air around him crackled with energy, and the sound of his qi pulsing through the formation echoed through the chaotic scene around him.
Despite the chaos and danger that surrounded him, Juanxiu remained focused and composed, his mind clear and his movements fluid as he worked on the formation. He knew that the fate of these hypnotized people was in his hands, and he was determined to do whatever it took to save them.
Finally, after what felt like hours of intense concentration, Juanxiu finished etching the formation onto the plate. He looked at it with a mix of relief and satisfaction, knowing that it was now ready to be activated and used to break the hypnosis that had taken hold of the people.
Juanxiu turned to Old Man Bai Fa and the rest of the group and said, "Take care of the people. Once I deactivate the hypnosis, they might panic. We need to support them and do it gradually."
Old Man Bai Fa nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Don't worry, we've got this. You focus on removing the hypnosis."
Juanxiu took a deep breath, feeling the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. He knew he had to act fast, but also be cautious not to cause any harm to the people. "I'll start with the crowd at the back. It's a wiser choice."
He closed his eyes and concentrated his Qi, feeling it flow through his body. He poured his qi on the formation plate and the plate seemed like a hungry beast devouring his internal energy. The plate began to glow, and he held it up in front of him, ready to activate.
Juanxiu took a deep breath. Suddenly, the formation plate lit up with a bright white light that enveloped the back area. The hypnotized people began to convulse and shake as the aura was purged out of their systems.
Juanxiu's face was contorted with effort as he continued to pour his qi into the formation plate. The light grew brighter and brighter until it was almost blinding. He could feel his energy draining rapidly, and he knew he couldn't sustain this for much longer.
As the light began to dim, the hypnotized people began to come to their senses. They looked around in confusion and panic, not understanding what had happened to them. Old Man Bai Fa and the others quickly stepped in, urging them to run away from the area.
"Quickly, run! It's not safe here!" Old Man Bai Fa shouted, trying to herd the disoriented crowd away from the chaos and danger.
Pan Geming and Cao Ying helped lead the way, pushing people gently but urgently in the direction of safety. "Please, move quickly! We'll explain everything later, but for now, we need to get out of here!" Cao Ying shouted over the panicked screams of the crowd.
The hypnotized people stumbled and staggered, still disoriented from their sudden awakening. But the urgency in the voices of their rescuers was enough to get them moving, even as they stumbled and tripped over each other in their haste to escape.
Juanxiu wiped the sweat off his forehead as he moved to another section of the crowd. He knew that he would have to do this multiple times, he just doesn't know how long he will be able to hold out. He could feel his energy dwindling, but he knew he had to keep going. The hypnotized people were still scattered throughout the area, and he needed to free as many of them as he could.
As he activated the formation, a blinding light enveloped the surrounding area. He could feel the energy being drained out of him as the hypnotic aura was purged from the people's system. He stumbled and almost fell, but he managed to keep his balance.
Siyi noticed his exhaustion and rushed to his side. "Are you okay?" she asked, concern etched on her face.
Juanxiu nodded weakly. "I'm fine. Just a little drained." He looked around and saw that there were still many hypnotized people in the area. "I need to keep going. Can you handle things here for a while?"
Siyi nodded determinedly. "I've got this. Go do what you need to do."
Juanxiu gave her a grateful smile before turning to face the remaining hypnotized people. He repeated the process of etching the formation and activating it, each time feeling more and more exhausted. He could see Siyi battling fiercely in the distance, her movements a blur as she took on the members of the Karma Order.
After several rounds of etching and activating the formation, Juanxiu was completely drained. He could barely stand, and his vision was starting to blur. He looked over at Siyi, who was still fighting valiantly, and felt a sense of pride and admiration for her. Despite being inexperienced, she had proven herself to be a skilled fighter.
Juanxiu could feel his body weakening with each formation he activated. His limbs felt heavy, his breaths shallow, and his vision blurred. He knew that he couldn't keep up with this pace for much longer, but he had to. He had to save these people.
As he stumbled and fell to his knees, Siyi rushed to his side, concern etched on her face. "Juanxiu, you should rest?" she asked, her voice laced with worry.
"I'm fine," Juanxiu grunted, forcing himself back up to his feet. "We have to keep going. We're only halfway there."
Old Man Bai Fa watched on with a furrowed brow, his mind racing for a solution. "We can't just leave him like this," he said, his voice filled with concern. "What if he burns his life force?"
"I won't do that," Juanxiu said firmly, sweat dripping down his face. "I'll find a way to push through this."
Siyi could see the determination in his eyes, but she also knew that he was reaching his limit. "Juanxiu, maybe we should stop," she suggested, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"No time," Juanxiu replied, gritting his teeth. "We have to do this now."
With that, he turned back to the crowd and held the formation plate firmly. But as he poured his energy into it, a wave of nausea hit him, and he stumbled backward, coughing and retching. The exhaustion had finally caught up to him.
"I told you we can't just leave him like this," Old Man Bai Fa said, his voice tinged with frustration.
"I know," Siyi replied, her eyes fixed on Juanxiu. "But what can we do?"
Juanxiu wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and with a deep breath, he stood up once again. "I have to finish this," he said, his voice shaking slightly. "We're almost there."
With renewed determination, he continued to activate the formations, each one taking a little more out of him. His body screamed of pain, but he ignored it, focusing only on his task. The people around him were confused and disoriented as the hypnosis lifted, but Old Man Bai Fa and the others quickly ushered them away, warning them of the danger.
And so Juanxiu pressed on, his energy reserves dwindling with each passing moment. But he refused to give up. He refused to let these people fall victim to the Karma Order's twisted plans. He would keep going until he could go no further.
Juanxiu continues to squeeze his energy, pouring all of his remaining strength into the formation plate. He is really disappointed with his body, which he feels is too weak to make a bigger contribution.
Suddenly, he felt an excruciating pain in his chest, and his body began to tremble and convulse. He grits his teeth and pushes on, determined to finish the task at hand. However, the pain becomes unbearable, and he finally loses consciousness.
Siyi notices Juanxiu's collapse and runs to his location, shouting worriedly, "Juanxiu! Are you okay? Wake up!"
Old Man Bai Fa also rushes to his side, concern etched on his face. "What happened? Is he hurt?" he asks.
But before anyone could even reach Juanxiu, there was a jolt in the air surrounding him. The land where his body lies begins to beat like a drum, at first like a thump of a giant, but then becoming louder and louder, until the ground is shaking as the beating goes on.
As Juanxiu was lifted by the unknown force, his body began to emit a blue light, which slowly enveloped his entire being. The ground beneath him shook and quivered as if reacting to the sudden surge of power emanating from his body. The wind began to pick up, swirling around him in a frenzied dance.
Even Han Ru, Shunyuan, and Xiaowen, who were in the midst of their fierce battle, were momentarily stunned as they felt the overwhelming aura emanating from the location of Juanxiu. They knew something dangerous is coming. His body was no longer that of a mere mortal, but had transformed into something otherworldly.
Juanxiu stood up in the air, or was it really Juanxiu?
With a flick of his finger, the thick miasma that had been hovering in the air dissipated, and the invasive aura inside the bodies of the hypnotized people were purged. The crowd was in awe as they witnessed the powerful display of energy.
However, as the hypnosis was removed and the energy dissipated, Juanxiu's body fell back to the ground. Siyi, who had been watching from afar, rushed to catch him before he hit the ground.
The air was silent for a moment as everyone tried to process what they had just witnessed. People were dumbfounded and confused, asking each other what had just happened. The only thing that was certain was that Juanxiu had saved them from the hypnosis and the danger that had threatened their lives.
