Lightbulbs from Hell

A single light in hell is called a lightbulb. It started with fragments of crushed luminescent rocks that they used to power the bulbs. Hell had its way to work with bright lights because the realm was naturally dark.

"A brief history of our advances in light," Barbara said. "But considering Hell has the more calm people unlike the Behemoths below, so we have brighter and advance technologies."

"In the Den, light is shown as weakness," Dante said. "When someone likes bright lights, they are shunned and are always displayed as the weaker members of the group. They couldn't live proper lives after that."

"How could you see if bright is frowned upon?" Elliot couldn't help but ask. "I couldn't even imagine how life is without light."

"We tolerate torches," Dante said. "But bright lights are never allowed, especially in the royal family."
