How The Years Go By

*Year 5 of revival*

Dante was born three years before Issei and regained his memories after Issei's birth. He then spent two years in and out of his personal time chamber to master the magical knowledge available on earth.

"I guess I need to go to the Devil world to progress" Dante spoke to himself

[Can I come?] Solo asked [I want to save koneko and Kuroka]

"Damn" Dante cursed himself "how could I forget about them?" Dante then paused "and why haven't you gone ahead and saved them?"

[Umm, Dante, I appreciate you treating me as an equal but, no matter what happens I exist to serve you first and foremost] Solo explained [and no matter what laws I learn and whatever powers YOU grant me, I will never be a god as my will is bound to you]

"I know, I know alright" Dante took a deep breath "I'm sorry, I just didn't want to blame myself" Dante took a moment to centre himself "can you save them with the shadows or do you need me there?" He asked

[I can do it alone; the only three who can even hope to hurt me are the dream dragon, Ophis and Trihexia] Solo then quited down for a second [And maybe reality warpers, and even then they would simply destroy this body and I'd be back with you only]

"Just save the test subjects, we'll take them in" Dante's expression hardened "make sure to gather as much evidence as you can; I want to go hunting after my meeting with Sirzechs"

After making an appointment and receiving confirmation, Dante is currently at a waiting room of sorts at the Lucifer Mansion. He was told to wait here till Lord Lucifer is done with his current meeting.

"Lord Lucifer will be meeting you now" came the the voice of Grafya Lucifuge, wife and queen of Sirzechs Lucifer

Dante thanked her and entered the office "so you're Dante, what can I do for you" asked lord Lucifer who was sitting behind a large desk, on a throne like chair and simply exuding his aura

Who am I to refuse the challenge of the lord of hell "Nice to meet you Sirzechs" Dante says as he releases his own aura without the addition of Laws.

It is important to remember that Dante is a God with a capital G. and his aura, even without the laws of existence, is still a bearer of a divine spark. Currently that spark is being felt full force by Lucifer who is now trying to simply keep up.

In the end Dante disperses both his and Lucifer's aura's "I think we've established from that mine's bigger than yours bull you're pulling that mine's actually bigger than yours" Dante said in a nonchalant way "I tried to be respectful man, and you just went and taunted me on a very bad day" Dante finished as he sat with a huff in front of Sirzechs

"I- I see" Sirzechs pulled himself together first. He usually used his aura to make sure those coming to him don't just see a young devil to be manipulated. He might've stepped on a landmine this time "would you like a drink?"

Dante looked at Sirzechs for a second, in the anime he was one of his favourites though he was a complete sis-con he did want the best for his family and the underworld in general "no it's fine. As an apology for my outburst you can try this" Dante said pulling out a bottle of serene Sake and a bottle of wine "these are part of the reason I'm here"

"Of course" Sirzachs then turned to Grafya who is now back in her cold persona "would you bring us a couple of glasses please" he asked

After she brought back three glasses, apparently the little display shook her more than intended Dante began "the first I want you to try is the Blood Wine" he poured a glass for each of them"

Sirzechs and Grafya drank a bit and were surprised "wow, this tastes amazing, and it seems to have some magic in it as well" Sirzachs began, after finishing the glass they began to feel a bit odd, not in a drunk kind of way but more in a restorative kind of way. Sirzachs looked back at Dante with surprised eyes "What does the wine do?"

"Simply put" Dante began then leaned forward "it slowly heals you" Dante said with a smile

"Do you understand how big this is?" asked Sirzacks "devils can't heal with conventional magic, only powerful artefacts and specific bloodlines can heal us" he explained

Dante shrugged "this won't heal you fast enough to use in battle, but it may save lives in the aftermath" Dante supplied "now try this one he said as he poured them a cup of Serene Sake each

They did not hesitate and drank. As expected it tasted magnificent but the energy they felt in the drink was not familiar "this is not a magical drink, but it contains something" Grafya spoke

"And it's making me feel a lot lighter" Sirzachs said with a genuine smile on his face

"The Serene Sake does not restore or replenish anything. It simply takes your energy and balances it" Dante explained to the now wide eyed couple

Sirzachs realising the value of these drinks asked "what are the other things you wanted from me?" just in case it's something he can't give up or exchange

"For that you must learn who I am" Dante said as he got up "my name is Dante no last name, Bastard son of the current Lord Phenex" he finished with a mock bow

"I see" Sirzachs felt a headache coming "and what can I do for you lord Dante"

"Dante is fine, and what I want is two sets of evil pieces and permission to conduct business in the underworld nonexclusively" Dante spoke

"Why two sets?" Sirzachs asked feeling dread immediately after asking

"One to use and one to study of course" Dante said as if asking for a cup of water

"I apologise, but I cannot grant you permission for a second set without the other Satans present" Sirzachs apologised

"It's fine" Dante waved it off "Just tell me when you can give me the two" he concluded and got up "keep the bottles, I have a family branch (at least) to wipe"

"Come again" asked Sirzechs, wide eyed in slight panic

After flying for a few minutes Dante arrived at the research centre with Lucifer and Grafya following him. The research centre seems to be on fire "hey Dante, you're finally here?" Solo asked

"Sorry for the delay" he spoke without looking at Solo "who were involved?" he asked, still looking at the burning building

Solo produced documents "from the paper trail it looks like the Naberius second son is involved in the paperwork, but doesn't have knowledge about what they do here" Solo then proceeded to give Lucifer the documents "it seems the entire research branch was involved though"

"Release the Shadows" Dante then turned to the Horrified sirzechs and put a hand on his shoulder "some beings deserve death and nothing else"

Sirzechs is a veteran of war, but even he wouldn't be able to stomach what these monsters did to children… what if his cute sister was among them "they die tonight" Sirzachs promised

*Year 7 of revival*

Shirone and Kuroka decided to follow solo alongside many of the devils saved from the torture they suffered at the hands of the 'scientists'

It took three weeks for Dante's pieces to reach him; he did get the second set and immediately sent them to Solo to get one to the Lab and one to Amaterasu. It took him two more years to get through everything he got from the Devil world.

After he got all he can out of the information he got from the underworld, the only thing he has left is the information to train species other than humans and devils. Seeing it as his only choice he went to find a fallen to gain the Angel aspect of abilities and access to holy magic.

Saving Akeno and her mom is easy, Saving Akeno and her mom while resisting the urge to wipe-out the Himajima clan is hard. The bastards tried to kill a seven year old, because of her race.

When they reached a pre-prepared safe house and settled down "Thank you for this" Akeno's mom, Shuri, said "I don't know what to do now"

"The current Lucifer's sister is looking for a pearage, she could use a capable mage or two" when Dante finished he saw Shuri's look of horror "are all Himajima members predisposed to judge by race?"

Shuri felt somewhat sheepish before arguing "But they're Devils, aren't they going to enslave us?"

"She's not like that, and I think your daughter needs a friend right now" he nodded at the now sleeping Akeno

"I'll think about it" she concluded

*year 8 after revival*

Dante was in kuoh, taking a walk after dropping off Akeno and Shuri at the new gremory residence. As he passed by a park he saw an old man talking to some children with Issei there.

Remembering the reason Issei was a pervert is because an old man told him about the wonder of Boobs, he was faced with a choice he could leave Issei be the pervert he becomes or stop that and force him into mediocrity.

"Why don't I teach him about being a gentleman, maybe he can achieve the legendary Gentle-pervert status" Dante concluded
