A few days later, the final battle between the Pirates and the Marines came to an end.
The battle ended with a complete victory for the Marines.
The Pirate Alliance, which had more than 400 mighty pirate ships, nearly suffered total destruction.
After several months of relentless pursuit, almost all the pirates who could be considered a threat were wiped out.
"Ding! Congratulations to the Host, you have received the reward: Kekedi!"
With the completion of the pirate extermination task, Luo Gang finally received the reward he had long desired.
Suddenly, a flood of information about Emperor Keke filled his mind.
Finn decided to test Kekedi's abilities, and was quickly satisfied.
With Emperor Keke, it was as if Finn had gained an immortal body. If he were to die by accident, Kekedi would automatically roll him back to life.
Yes, it was as overpowered as it sounds.
"Shadow World."
Finn activated Kekedi's ability, and instantly fell into the shadow world.
It felt strange, as if he were in an entirely different realm. The air was filled with countless white light spots above his head.
Finn focused his mind and realized that each of these white light spots represented a life form.
Curious, Finn approached one of the white spots, leaning in to observe it. Immediately, he saw an image.
It was the deck of a ship, and the first thing that caught Finn's eye was Nami, dressed in a swimsuit. From his perspective, it appeared as if he was looking up at her.
"Haha, this is interesting."
Finn chuckled. He couldn't help but think that if someone like Sanji had this ability, it would be a disaster for the world.
After withdrawing from Nami's light spot, Finn moved to another and poked his head in. This time, he saw Robin, still from an upward angle.
By now, Finn had fully grasped how the shadow world worked.
As long as he moved out of the white light spot, he could return to the real world from the shadow world.
He could also teleport to different places in the real world by passing through various light spots.
In a sense, this ability was like an alternative form of teleportation.
With proper use, this ability could rival the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Satisfied with his new power, Finn returned to his office.
Just then, Tashigi entered.
"Marshal, Inspector Sengoku has received information. The Marine forces are on standby and ready to attack the Holy Land at any moment."
"Oh? Is the time finally here?" Finn said with a faint smile.
He had been mentally preparing for this moment ever since arriving in this world.
And now, it was finally happening.
"Marshal, should we attack Mariejois directly?" Tashigi asked.
Finn nodded. "Of course. The Celestial Dragons have held their position for too long. It's time they were replaced."
With Finn's order, Ince immediately went to contact Sengoku.
Time passed, and another half month slipped by.
All Marine forces were now assembled near the Sabaody Archipelago.
In theory, if they were to attack Mariejois, they could only enter through the cable cars on either side. Warships would be useless, as there were no rivers or seas on the Red Line.
On the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th islands of the Red Line, five small islands were home to nearly 200,000 Marines.
These weren't recruits, but seasoned officers, all with significant combat experience.
Their mission was clear: reach the Red Line and completely overthrow Mariejois.
Inside Mariejois, the cable cars had been shut down, and a large number of World Government agents were stationed there, armed with elite weapons and waiting for any Marine breakthrough.
If the Marines attempted to advance, they would face a brutal counterattack.
Hours later, agents stationed near the cable cars received a shocking order from above: they were to immediately move to the East City Gate for support.
"What do you mean? Aren't we supposed to defend here?"
"I haven't even seen a Marine yet. Why are we being moved to the East City Gate?"
"Could it be that Marine is already attacking there?"
"Impossible! There are only two ways to attack Mariejois. Unless they can fly..."
As the agents were still discussing, one of them suddenly burst in, shouting, "No, the Marines are flying! They're attacking the East Gate of Mariejois right now!"
Everyone froze, stunned by the news.
"What are you waiting for? Move to the East Gate now!" the messenger shouted.
Without hesitation, the agents scrambled to follow.
When they reached the East Gate, they were left dumbfounded.
In the sky, five islands floated, their massive forms looming over Mariejois.
"Could this... be the ability of the Lion Fruit?" one agent speculated.
And indeed, the agent had guessed correctly. It was the power of the Lion Fruit.
Just a few months after the final battle between the Marines and the Pirates ended, the Marines had stumbled upon the Lion Fruit.
This Devil Fruit was incredibly powerful. In the right hands, it could create a superhuman capable of taking on entire fleets alone.
The current four Admirals of the Marines were all Devil Fruit users, each with formidable powers. The Lion Fruit was considered a god-tier fruit.
After some thought, Finn had decided to bestow this fruit upon Leaping Rabbit, Momousagi.
Momousagi, always competitive, quickly mastered the power of the fruit, and it was her contribution that allowed the Marines to land on the Red Line undetected, launching a surprise attack on Mariejois.
"Thousands of guns are fired!"
On the five floating islands, dozens of naval cannons were deployed. These cannons had been dismantled from warships and mounted on the islands themselves.
The five islands were now effectively floating airships, and they unleashed tens of thousands of shells at Mariejois.
