Chapter 1: Monologue

MC Pov

My name is Edward Jasper and I am 20 years and I used to working at a restaurant.

When I say 'used to', I didn't mean by I quit the job there. I actually die on my way to work but anyway let's rewind back to when I was alive.

Everyday life has been bad to me. At work, I was force to do other peoples work. When I make a report, that f#cking fat boss of mine just ignored it and accused me of being lazy.

I didn't even get a raise once in my entire life working there!

At that time I just want to punch that fat ugly b#stard in the face but I just hold it and just walk out of the restaurant and return to my home.

You might also be thinking how could I still work there and not just quit and find new job.

It because the salary is much higher then any other job and it is much closer to my house and I just need to walk from my house to the restaurant

It save me money from buying vehicle or riding public transport so I can't complain much about that.

When I get back home I take a bath to clean and calm my self down from this bad day after finishing everything and wear my clothe.

I sit at my gaming chair and turn on my PS5. I have to go through many trouble to get it and I must say that it is worth it.

After I turn it on, I start to play Maneater. One of my favourite game I have play and still enjoy it until now and when the DLC was release, I was very excited and immediately play and completed it in the entire night until it was morning.

It take me multiple try to kill the Atomic Leviathan and I always die at the second phase because of multiple mini-boss I have to fight and dodge but the most annoying one is that orca. That orca is fast and making it hard to dodge the attack and get caught in that orca thrash. I hate that orca and so because of that I always goes for the orca first right after phase 2.

In the end I finally did it with my max level mega shark with also all max atomic body parts and organs.

I check to see what time is it and I see that it was 9:40 Am and I was very late for my work. I immediately turn off all of my electronic device and get up to take a quick shower. After that, I put on my work clothe and quickly get out of my apartment but I didn't forgot to lock it. Don't want to lose my belove PS5.

I just run all the way to my work and while I was running, I keep cursing myself in my mind for staying up the entire night playing game and also thinking how would it feel like if I was reincarnated as a shark especially the megalodon and be the king of the ocean and didn't need to care about human stuffs and somehow I wish it would happen to like the anime and fanfic I read where the MC meet R.O.B, got some wishes and reincarnated in different world.

Not knowing that my thoughts and wish was heard by someone or unknown entity and it is going to come true but I must first indure the most painful experience I have to face in my entire life.

I was nearing the crossroad and because I was in the hurry and didn't aware of my surroundings, I just ran on not knowing the traffic light is still green.

I hear peoples screaming and when I turn my head to the right to see why peoples is screaming about, I see it.

I knew at that time, I am doom. No matter what I do to escape or hide from it, it won't work because from the information I learn from watching anime and reading fanfic.

You can never escape from it for it will find you and will get to you no matter what."

At that time the only words that come out of my mouth is.

"Please be gentle Truck-kun."

BAMM

I was hit by Truck-kun and send flying across the street but while I was midair, my brain was hit by a huge amount of pain making me fall unconscious.

Because of that I was save from suffering even more because after I fall unconscious my body fall hard to the ground and was sliding on the surface of the road and my back hit the light pole stoping me abruptly and breaking my back.

If I were to still unconscious at that time, I would have scream like I was dying which is true I am literally dying on the side of the road.

Peoples scream and some even vomit after seeing what happen to my body. At least there is people who call the ambulance to save me but it was too late. I already dead when my body hit the ground because my neck broke at the impact.

You might be thinking since I already fall unconscious while I was in midair, how do I know what happen to me after that.

Well to tell you that. I am right now inside of a room and a female voice inside my head telling me to wait for her creator to come and meet me to talk about my reincarnated and while waiting for the 'creator' to come in here, she ask me if I want to see what happen after I fall unconscious and because of my curiosity I say yes.

She also tell me to monologue and tell story about who am I and what I do when I was living. Of course I ask a question why I should monologue.

She say that the other multiple R.O.B is watching what I am doing right now and seeing me waiting in a room will be bored for them and might make them feel irritate.

Of course I was shock and immediately think of an idea on how tell my live story and in the end, here we are.

"Hello there other R.O.B. How are you doing?"

"I know I am breaking the fourth wall but I got permission from the female voice inside my head to tell you guys my backstory while waiting for the R.O.B I am about to meet."

"It actually quite shocking knowing there is multiple R.O.B out there. I know I can't see you guys or even know if you guys watching me right now or not and I could be seen as a crazy person talk to the air alone in an empty room."

"Well it is not an empty room. There is two comfy armchair, one I sit on and one infront of me with a table in the middle and a cup of calming tea for me to drink while waiting for this 'creator' to come."

"When will that R.O.B come I really excited to be reincarnated."

???:"Well aren't you excited to be reincarnated Edward Jasper."

"Huh?!" Edward surprise hearing an unknown male voice inside the room.

He look up and see the empty comfy armchair infront of him has someone sit on it while drinking tea.

After the man take a sip from his tea, he put the cup down at the table and look at him meanwhile Edward was still in surprise moment but after seeing the man is looking at him, he quick compose himself but he is still nervous and look at the man as well.

It was quiet in the room and Edward is becoming more and more nervous and in the end the man start to conversation first.

"Hello there Edward Jasper my name is E.D and as you can see, you are dead and right now in my realm." say the man

Edward was not surprise that his name is known by the other person because he already have an idea who the person is and he trying not to be rude infront of this person also replied

"Hello there, as you already know my name I don't need to say it and it is nice to me you E.D."

Edward feel weird by the person name but just ignored it and doesn't ask a question about his name afraid of angering him but he has other questions he want to ask.

"So how long have you been in here?" ask Edward to E.D.

"Well I was actually in here when you were halfway finish telling your backstory to the other R.O.B while waiting for me to come in. I don't want to interrupt your monologue so I just hide myself until you finish your monologue" reply E.D to Edward question.

"Oh okay then. So what is going to happen next" ask Edward again.

"Well the next thing that is going to happen..."
