The Fish Was Hooked!

Ronald's phone began to vibrate as he was enjoying a coffee break. Before responding, he checked the screen to see who had called. Seeing it was Ann, he swiftly slid his finger to answer.

" Hello!" Ronald gave a perplexed look in return.

"It's Ann, Ronald. How are you doing?"

"I'm doing well! I appreciate you asking. Is there anything that I can assist you with?" Ronald questioned, but as he waited for her to answer, he considered. He wondered, "Why is she calling me instead of her husband?"

"I need to ask you for a favor. Are you free right now?" Ann is slyly observing Lea to find out what she is up to.

"Depend on what you need my help with?" His expression was full of curiosity.

Ann was attempting to formulate her strategy for approaching the topic.

"You can see. I'm not sure if you know this, but Lea is now living alone at the condominium while I'm back at the mansion." 'Let's see if you don't take the bait.
