Who's that Pokémon!

[3rd P.O.V.]

~Celestic Town~

Near the Celestic Ruins, a Research Centre was constructed to better understand the nearby ancient ruins.

Standing next to a table was Professor Carolina, the head of the Celestic Town Historical Research Centre.

She is also the grandmother of Cynthia, the Pokémon League Champion of the Sinnoh Region.

She stares at the newly printed scans, bewildered not only by the scans, but the figure that laid in front of her.

No, the being that laid in front of her, was a mass of energy. One that has never been seen or heard of before.

It was harnessing the sunlight itself and using it as a weapon of mass destruction, something that's almost impossible.

Even with their technology to date has never been able to do what this Pokémon is proceeding to do as if it was as easy as breathing air.

Her thoughts were going off track, but now she was almost positive the purple humanoid being that was in front of her, was a Pokémon.

They didn't have the proper equipment due to the type of research they conduct, but what she held in her hand was sufficient enough to confirm her theory.

"This Pokémon is what Cynthia was trying to find!" She spoke with evident shock, and joy at the end.

She missed her Granddaughter, even if she knew being the Champion was a tiring job, she just wanted to see her face once in a while.

The suspected Pokémon that she had in her possession and the one Cynthia showed her looked different only in size.

One was grown up and the other was as if he just came out of his mother's womb, completely new to the world.

"Professor, your granddaughter is at the entrance, she is asking for you!" A shout came from her Pokegear.

The person she wanted to see the most was already here, as if Arceus himself was granting her wish.

"Tell her I'll be on my way, give me a little while!" Shouting back in excitement and enthusiasm.

*Step, Step, Step*

Running out the room, with flexibility a woman her age shouldn't have, she ran through the halls of the centre.

Without caring about the personnel that were scolding her about her conduct as their leader.

Giving up they continued on their work, trying to decipher the reading that was left on the walls of the ruins.

Reaching the entrance, she made her way out, finding her granddaughter eating a pint of ice cream like a glutton.

"Cynthia, didn't I say too much ice cream isn't good for you!" Shouting at the blondie that sat on the Garchomp.

She looked at her grandma, and sweat dropped at the words she exclaimed.

Even if she wanted to stop, she couldn't leave a good pint of ice cream like this untouched.

Unless there was a Pokémon battle that she could have her entire being stimulated from, then there was nothing in the world that would stop her, yet.

Sighing as she was ignored, she remembered the reason for wanting to contact her, "I found the Pokémon you were looking for dear!"

Returning to her somewhat dignified demeanor, she spoke smoothly. Cynthia just rolled her eyes and hopped off her Garchomp.

"Thanks for the ride," Patting her Garchomp's head she returned it to her Pokeball.

Signaling with her hand to show her the directions, Carolina nodded and they made their way to the room Ross just awoke in.

The door wasn't fully closed due to Caroline's rush to see Cynthia. Pulling the half opened door, they were both stunned.

They were greeted by a large gray female Pokémon and a large rat-like Pokémon, just remarkably cuter.

A Machamp that doesn't fit the description of a typical one, a small fur ball that was laying on top the lap of the Pokémon that was once fainted.

And sitting up was that same humanoid purple mass of energy. Sensing the danger that its master was in Garchomp left its ball.

Red tomes of light exited the Champion's coat, materializing into a "6'3" land shark, and the strongest one at that.

It positions itself between Cynthia and Ross, adapting to a protective manner, the weird part was no one looked like they cared.

Ross had an inkling this would happen, so he told the two beforehand. He was something out of this world after all.

Even compared to Legendries he was a literal one of a kind in a world type being. He looked at the somewhat old woman that stood behind Cynthia.

"Thanks for saving me, I was a bit of a pickle." He spoke surprising to the three, Garchomp could understand but she couldn't speak human language.

Carolina, even in her long life was never able to see any Pokémon talk human speech as fluently as this one.

Cynthia knew her Pokémon understood the Human Language, but was never able to speak so fluently.

She saw Chatots mimicking a parrot like Pokémon from other regions. But she never truly heard one speak as if it were a human.

Adding the fact Ross looked like a human who was cosplaying, made the experience even more bizarre.

"Why did you keep us in those balls for so long?" A pouting Maki brought the trio out of their confusion and shock.

Causing them to go into another wave of shock, but they broke out from it as quickly as possible.

Carolina, seeing the situation might go awry due to Garchomp's aggressive first impressions, was about to ask for her granddaughter to call back her Pokémon.

She was beaten to it though, before she could spout a single word. "Garchomp return." She looked back at Cynthia.

Seeing the glint in her eye, she listened to her orders and returned. Ready for any harm that may come towards Cynthia.

"So, what are you?" She asked in a questioning tone. She was a caring and an airhead but she wouldn't want her grandma in harm's way.

"I'm a Pokémon, one of a kind if I must say so myself." He replied in a friendly manner.

He didn't get the time to acquire brownie points with her, but he knew for a fact she wasn't a bad person.

She was the complete opposite, even if she was a 'Character' she had qualities that made her a fan favourite waifu back on earth.

They both completely ignored the pouting Maki, but she learned her lesson from before.

"How did you learn to talk then, and what do I call you?" She asked with her calm and stoic face.

"I was born like this, roughly a year ago, maybe longer. The egg I was in might have been in the forest for more, I'm not one hundred percent sure."

She squinted her eyes, there were only certain Pokémon that can talk with humans with absolute accuracy.

"And what are you called." For Pokémon to acquire the title of Legendary and Mythical, they needed to fit certain criteria.

One is to have power so unrivaled that they can affect the livelihood of the entire world.

A good example would be Moltres, a Pokémon that is part of the Kanto's Legendary birds, Articuno and Zapdos.

It was virtually unrivaled compared to ordinary Pokémon, they can also fall into this tier by having a legend made about them.

One that has actual truth, once it shows its true power in some way or form it can obtain this title.

Mythical, was given to Pokémon that did feats completely out of the ordinary, so much so that it's practically impossible.

Such as Ho-Oh, who created three Pokémon that were later known as Entei, Suicune and Raiko, the three Legendary dogs.

They are also seen so rarely that the inhabitants of the world question their very existence.

If what laid in front of her was something of legends, Cynthia would without a doubt challenge it to a Pokémon fight.

"My name is Star Platinum." The room went into silence, other than the snuggling sound of Dobby, it was completely silent.

Both Cynthia and Caroline were racking their brains around who this Pokémon could be, if there ever was a legend about it.

They came to the conclusion it was their first time hearing about it. Even if the name screamed Legendary, they still had no clue where it was from.

"Can you kindly stay here for a bit." Caroline grappled her daughter's hand while asking, who they now call Star Platinum.

He nodded as the two ran out the door, looking like little kids who found a new toy to play with.

They discussed the entire time of what their next plans should be, the Lily of Valley Conference was about to begin.

So Cynthia came to have a little bonding time, not expecting her vacation target was here as well.

She was in a pickle, asking if she should stay or attend the conference. After all, the only thing she has to do is an exhibition match.

"You're going, even if I have to give up my life," Pointing at the flabbergasted Champion, Carolina spoke accusingly.

She knew Cynthia's love for archaeology was above almost everything else, but she didn't want her to give up something as precious as the title of Champion.

Cynthia sighed, what were they supposed to do to begin with. This was a delicate situation.

While they were creating a plan of some sort, in the room the trio were cuddling like long lost friends.

"Can you two let go, even if I'm not going to take damage, it's still annoying." He complained, but neither of them listened.

Maki shyly hugged him, staying in a ball for such a long time wasn't the most ideal place to be.

Dobby was wrapped around his neck like a snake, licking his face with pure happiness to see his 'Papa'.

Peeking through the door was Carolina and Cynthia, who felt their hearts burn up from the bubbly scene....
